Great communication. We were not able to go ahead with the order in the end and required a refund. The communication,service, appointments and refund were all handled professionally and efficiently.

Very good overall service, easy to contact Steve and get questions answered ,prompt fitment of new inverter by Dan, also thank David for initial assessment, very satisfied with price and efficiency overall ,highly recommend.

Not a great experience. Charged £149.00 for a so called service of existing system and as far as I can see done nothing in the short time on site...

Also advised me to install batteries even through I don't have a smart meter. Until I pointed this fact out to him

Having had to replace my Virgin router I found that I could not use my system app and having explained this to SMAR they told me that I needed a new dongle.
Two days later they arrived and fitted a new unit without any problems or cost to me as I have a maintenance contract with them.
Once again SMAR have proved to be reliable, efficient and trustworthy in their excellent support to me as a customer.

SMAR's operative, Louis, was courteous, helpful, professional and worked hard. We are very pleased with the results of his efforts.

Good service from a company I'm happy to recommend. No-one had looked at the solar panel system since I acquired it 9 years ago. I found this company through a magazine advertisement and they gave a competitive price for inspection and report. The technician was excellent, Mo, who said he lives locally to me. He gave a thorough report and highlighted remedial action needed.

Maintenance engineer arrived on time, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding our solar panels & inverter

Excellent service, Mo came, diagnosed and repair my system within an hour. Completely checked my solar system, identified my inverter had died and replaced it with a new one. System now working fine. I also took out their ten year maintenance plan to cover all future problems I may experience.

My Solar panels were not working after looking at the good reviews I contacted Solar Maintenance and repairs, Dom and a colleague arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment, identified the problem, explained what they were doing, fitted a replacement Inverter and meter, explained the benefits of a 10 year warranty which I agreed to. I now have a system that is working again which is monitored and any problems that occur over the 10 years will be covered.

Good communication from my first call until the repairs carried out

I was concerned as to their authenticity as I only found out about them via Google. Their sales person arrived very quickly, diagnosed the problem and asked for 50% up front; slightly worrying But all was well. the technicians were first ate and my solar panels are generating again

Left a message on an evening and they got back to me the next morning. Engineer came out within a few days- fixed the problem and explained what he’d done and what the issue was.
Great customer service and very efficient.

From the enquiry phone call to the engineer coming round to explain everything,i decided on a new inverter there and then. 30 minutes later was all complete. Can't complain at that.

I had contacted another more local company prior to SMAR but to no avail. Our Mastervolt inverter had developed intermittent problems at start- up after 14 years service. Technician David along with an apprentice arrived at the appointed time carried out a system check of the solar panels, inverter and metering. They were knowledgeable, polite and respectful, answering my questions and discussing options and price before replacing it with a Fox inverter with a 10 year warranty from their vehicle. I would recommend SMAR.

Louis was most helpful and was very thorough tracking down the source of my problem.

The installation went ahead as planned. The installers arrived on time & were very respectful of our property.

I called, not expecting to get an appointment with an engineer for days but the “controller” said he could get someone to me the following afternoon. A couple of very nice lads came, the engineer David and his apprentice Harry. They immediately got on with faulting my equipment. Within half an hour they had tested the installation and found a major part of it had failed, David wrote down what the problem was and gave me an estimate to fix it. I told him I’d need to leave the upgrade, for a few months as ready funds weren’t available. He understood and told me to contact them if and when I wanted it done. I paid the call out charge and they left. Both David and Harry showed professionalism and were polite and grateful for my offer of tea and coffee! Thanks again SMAR. Every step was text and emailed to me AND the guys were not only on time but 3/4hour early!

Very pleased with the project to replace batteries and inverter. Arrived on time explained what was happening. Left the site clean and tidy. No worries.
