We came into the Silverlink store, North Shields and were met by Joanna Jowsey. Joanne was first class and a major factor in our buying the sofa. She was attentive without being Iover the top, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. In addition, we we were given very good coffee. All in all a very enjoyable experience. 😉

I purchased an Ezra Corner Sofa last year. At the point of sale, I asked specific questions to ensure it would be fit for purpose as my husband is disabled and requires firmness when seated. It was my buying decision. I was reassured that they are built well and it’s one of the best on the market. I was told by the salesman it would be a great choice and the customer care team are happy to assist us.

I’ve now discovered after a technician visit that there is something called ‘natural settlement’ of up to 30%. I was never informed of this at the point of sale. This information would have stopped me purchasing the sofa.

I have called Sofology who has been incredibly dismissive when I explained about my husband’s disability and what has happened. I’ve been crying with the stress.

Debra explained nobody can do anything as ‘natural settlement’ is expected. I said it was never mentioned until now.

My sofa is useless to my family. My husband has to use a dining room chair to sit. I’ve wasted thousands of pounds on a sofa with one year’s use. The stress on our family is horrendous.

The aftercare is shockingly bad. They weren’t interested in anything I was saying. Debra just kept repeating the same things, ‘the technician’s report says there is no manufacturing fault’. If that’s true, then I’ve been misled and miss sold at the point of sale.

Please be mindful when trusting what you’re being told in store, they’re very believable but the tells lies and aren’t transparent about the reality of the sofas you buy.

From our first interaction Mark was warm welcoming none persuasive but importantly listened to me and my wife’s requirements.
His genuine care from start to finish was faultless. We bought from Mark, he was the significant difference from other retail competitors.

Today we received our Hugo Sofa and cannot be happier. There is a slight manufacturing fault on the 2.5 seater which the delivery driver has picked up upon and raised for review.

A special thanks also goes to the two Delivery drivers who were nothing but professional and personable. The service from start to finish has been faultless. Look forward to minor fault being rectified but would highly recommend Sofology.

We were greeted by sales assistant when we walked in who was very friendly. We didn’t feel pressured and were left alone to browse at leisure but, told she was available to answer any questions we might have.

I visited two different stores before I ordered my sofa. The staff in both Gateshead and Silverlink were both friendly and knowledgeable. When I ordered my sofa on the third visit, Jo at Silverlink was very helpful and sufficient. We came away excited and satisfied with what we ordered and now we can’t wait for our new sofa to be delivered. This is our second sofa from sofology. They are very reliable comfortable sofas.
