Absolutely shocking tthe shop I dealt with is TheBed&Sofa Superstore Stamford Street Central Ashton under Lyne
So I dealt with the shop Stamford Street Central Ashton under Lyne,Took a substancal deposit for a made to measure sofa ,cancelled my order a week later saying he couldn't do it,refused to refund my deposit , said I could have a credit note I said no , asked for his complaint procedure details and that I was going to trading standards he got a little nasty by text and then proceeded to block me , got to go through the process of trading standards now it's akin to theft in my eyes

The team at the Ashton Under Lyne store were fab.. They took their time with me to show my options based off my desired wants and price range - Faultless! I had my sofa delivered today just 2 weeks from purchase. I was given a call 10 minutes before delivery which I appreciated the guys were fast yet efficient and super polite…
A 7 Month Battle
We ordered a 3 seater sofa at the end of March, from the Warrington store. We were told that delivery would take 5-6 weeks and be free (the Preston store initially told us this when we saw the sofa there). 10 weeks later, with no real explanation, the sofa was delivered in the wrong colour (beige as opposed to brown). The delivery staff, who did not work for the store, then asked for £50 in cash, despite the sofa being incorrect.
We phoned the store immediately and explained the situation, also questioning the delivery charge. The staff member rudely told us we were wrong and there was always a delivery charge, and to send an email with a photo. Luckily the small scatter cushions were the correct colour, as this helped us prove the sofa was incorrect. We were told that this would be resolved and the correct sofa would be exchanged in 5-6 weeks.
After this time had passed, and with no contact, we phoned up to be told that it would take longer than expected, and to expect the sofa in 2-3 weeks. This pattern continued for the next 2 months, with us having to chase the store on the phone as they dodged our calls and kept us at arms length with promises of delivery in the next 'few weeks', as well as excuses such as the factory closing for two weeks.
By the end of August, approximately 3 months after the incorrect sofa was delivered, I emailed the store expressing that they had breached contract, and if we did not have the sofa delivered that week we would be pursuing a refund. This email was ignored by the store. I decided to phone the store later that week, to be told that they were expecting the sofa on the 7th of October (18 weeks after the first delivery), again with no explanation offered.
This date also came and went with no contact from the store, and with it being so difficult to get hold of them on the phone at this point, we decided to go into the store to try and find out what was happening. It was only after this that things started moving.
We were told by the area manager, that we could expect the sofa to arrive with the store in two weeks time, and we were so far in at this point that we decided to wait, expressing that this was our last chance before we sought a refund. After two weeks we phoned to be told that they didn't have it, and to expect a call the next day. This didn't happen, and it actually took us phoning up ourselves at the start of the next week to find out that it had been delayed again, and to expect delivery the following Tuesday. This was then pushed back to Thursday AM, and the correct sofa was finally delivered at 3:30PM that day, 7 months and 2 weeks after our initial order.
This store's communication post order is frankly insulting, with some employees speaking to us as if we were stupid at times and coming across extremely condescending. I believe that if we hadn't tried so hard to chase our correct sofa down we still wouldn't have taken delivery yet. We did not feel at all like the store cared about us and our experience.
That being said, however, there was a marked improvement after we went in store and spoke with them face to face, and we are just glad to finally have our sofa.

Really disappointing experience from start to finish. We ordered our bed in October and were told delivery would take 2 weeks it’s been 4 weeks and we still haven’t seen it!! We have emailed and called but have been totally ignored!!! Do not buy from these scammers

Ordered a u shaped sofa and footstool in June.
Sofa arrived fine (poorly made) but no footstool.
Chased the footstool repeatedly on a weekly basis to be told head office are dealing / manufacturing issue. I called that much they knew my number and started to avoid my calls, I only found this out when I called back from my work phone for them to pic up straight away. The footstool was never ordered so I was lied to for months ! Finally gets delivered in the wrong colour.
Registered a complaint with head office but they have failed to respond to me. Absolute sham of a company. Email address isn’t even a proper business email (Hotmail address )
Promotes you to pay cash and then doesnt deliver what you order.
