Second Cancelled Order – A Serious Trust Issue
Unfortunately, this is the second time I have placed an order with Slamdunk.gr ( the same group and store as Sneaker10, and, after several days with no progress or meaningful update, I was eventually informed that the order had been cancelled.
Having this happen once could perhaps be considered an isolated incident. Having it happen twice is completely different and raises a very serious issue of reliability and trust.
When someone orders a specific jersey, they expect to receive that particular item. It is one thing to be told from the beginning that a product is unavailable, and another to place an order, wait several days without any real update, and then be told that the order has ultimately been cancelled.
Even if the company subsequently offers a discount on another product as compensation, that has very little significance. The customer was interested in a specific jersey and ultimately did not receive it. When the same thing happens more than once, it becomes unacceptable.
In my opinion, this is a very poor experience and a very bad image for the company. More importantly, it creates a serious trust issue. A company should be able to properly manage the orders it accepts and, above all, inform customers promptly and clearly when there is a problem with an order.
Unfortunately, after this happening for the second time, I cannot consider this a reliable shopping experience.
