The order could not be cleared through customs and I recieved no reply to my request for help by e-mail.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with your order. Unfortunately, your parcel was held — and later lost — by German border customs, despite all duties and taxes being prepaid.
As soon as we became aware of the issue, our customer support team responded to your query and opened a dispute with DPD, our delivery partner. We were required to wait for their investigation to conclude before providing you with a final update, which we understand may have caused frustration.
Once DPD confirmed the loss, we processed your refund immediately. We regret the delay in resolving this matter and the impact it had on your experience. This was an unfortunate incident beyond our control, and we share your disappointment as we also suffered a loss.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
