All I can say is that David and his whole team are absolutely amazing , from my initial first call to final appointment… It took me a lot of time to pluck up the courage to enquire as I was so ashamed of the state of my teeth , initially, I had been petrified of the dentist but then I was so wishing I could place my trust in one to pour my heart out and get help to sort my teeth and get my life back because it had turned into me been a recluse … When I arrived , I wanted to run but the whole team were lovely and David said he would be able to help and sort my teeth … i was so relieved and three weeks later, I had the implants done under sedation and didn’t find any discomfort whatsoever, it was such a relaxed and calm atmosphere, the following day I had little discomfort but only had to take afew paracetamol and some bruising which subsided after afew days , had a lovely chat with Kate when she called to check I was ok … and my final fitting … wow ! The transformation , they feel so natural and my first compliment was from a retired dentist who said my teeth look beautiful … if you’re feeling down and lost your confidence , embarrassed or petrified of the dentist, don’t, go for it with this lovely team, if I can , you can and it’s worth every penny … from the bottom of my heart , thank you for giving me my confidence and life back , your the best

Thank you David, and your excellent team, for your care and kindness throughout my treatment. You put me at ease and clearly explained what was happening at each stage of the process. I've had 2 sets of implants done with you now and I'm highly satisfied with both. I would definitely recommend you to others, and can't thank you enough for the high standard of treatment, but most of all for the care and kindness shown to me. Having never suffered before, I'd suddenly started with panic attacks about 6 months before starting the implant process. I was nervous about having a panic attack during an appointment. David, you and your team were so kind and caring towards me that I didn't suffer any attacks at all! Thank you.

All the staff are friendly and helpful and I have received excellent care throughout. It was a big decision to go for this treatment and I have absolutely no regrets about doing it.

I have had several implants, replacement crowns and veneers done at Smile Designs and all the treatment has been done to an exceptionally high standard by David with the help of his fantastic team.
When I first visited David for a consultation I didn’t have the best teeth both health wise and visually and also had the start of gum disease. I had become more and more anxious about the appearance of my teeth and the health of my gums and the impression I was getting from the dentist I was seeing at that time was that I was a lost cause! I don’t believe that I always had the best standard of treatment from some of my previous dentists and even though I attended regular check ups I wasn’t referred to a hygienist until my gums were quite bad. David has fit implants where a couple of teeth were missing and where teeth were beyond treatment, replaced ill fitting crowns, fitted veneers where I had some quite irregular shaped teeth and I am so pleased with the results. I’ve also had some treatment with the hygienist and my gums are much healthier.
I can now smile again without feeling embarrassed to do so and this has given my self confidence a real boost! I would not hesitate using Smile Designs again for any future treatment required and I would definitely recommend David for the extremely high standard of treatment he gives & his fantastic team, especially Julie and Harriet for the professional, friendly and caring service they give.

Three years ago I was in a bad place with poor NHS dental treatment, and lack of
teeth removal, which I had requested.
Also two sets of dentures which were not fit for purpose.
Covid over the last two years made it impossible to get NHS dental treatment at all.

I was very apprehensive about addressing issues I was having with my teeth having neglected them for years and was considering going to one of the widely advertising implant providers for for full top and bottom implants. Dave at Smile Designs was recommended to me by a dentist who is an acquaintance and I have not regretted my decision since.

In my initial assessment he determined that I need much less work doing than I had thought I did and only required a partial bridge, entailing the minimum number of extractions, and thorough dental hygiene work.

At all times I was made to feel extremely at ease and in no discomfort especially during my appointment with Jo, the hygienist, and Liz who expertly kept my spirits up and my mouth pain free during what can only be described as the mammoth task of scaling and polishing my remaining teeth. This has always been a painful process with my previous dentists and was the reason my teeth had become so neglected.

Dave is brilliant as well, explaining everything thoroughly and continually ensuring my comfort during all appointments. He is clearly an expert in his field and the knowledge of this alone provides me with the assurance that all will be fine.

I only have a few appointments left at Smile Designs and only wish they did regular dentistry as I genuinely look forward to my visits and will miss everyone there once my treatment is complete.

I could not recommend Smile Designs highly enough, for all the reasons above, should you require dental implants.
