The customer service and technical support I received for my smart duvet was outstanding. The representative was knowledgeable, provided me with step by step instructions to quickly set up the smart duvet update successfully. The representative was efficient, patient and was customer focused. I hope if I have to call customer service again, I get this rep. We love our smart duvet and can’t imagine not having it.

Dec 2 I have been using the old first-gen, and tonight I got the newest gen. Customer service was great in helping me figure out that I needed the new lightweight one. I loved the old one can't go wrong with this blanket

Top notch service; I had lost some of my clips and the group were so quick to send replacements they didn’t even get a chance to ask me to pay (jk, they sent them for free).

Absolutely perfect customer service!

Originally had some issues with shipping and communication that turned out to not to be the fault of the company. Once we were able to connect via phone they went over the top to make it right.

Doing "well" as a company isn't hard. What really makes a company great is how the company responds when a customer isn't satisfied or something goes wrong. They nailed this.

Nearly instant email communication with their CS team and phone support wasn't bogged down by phone tree's or automation.

Would definitely recommend them to others.

I had issues with the control box. This unit was a gift. After several emails and texts, I finally got on the phone with their customer service staff. We trouble shooted the control box and finally determined the unit was faulty. Even though the unit was purchased at least two years ago and the warranty had expired, they sent me a new control box within two days. The new control box works fine. I sent the defective unit back to them. There are a lot of bad reviews on several websites. If you have issues with this product, I suggest you contact the company's customer service staff via phone. The product works fine. The customer service is exceptional! Highly recommended.

The company is very responsive and helpful on their Chat feature. They went beyond the norm to help make my experience with the duvet better.

We have really enjoyed this product for the past week, this morning after having unplugged the box it refused to turn back on. After a few troubleshooting emails and a phone call I got a replacement box delivered within the same day. Wonderful customer service!

I have been extremely pleased with my Smartduvet. At night, I can adjust the heat to a comfortable level, and in the morning, I simply press a button to make my bed. I often recommend it to others, and I enjoy demonstrating its features when friends visit. Additionally, I reached out to the company with a question via email and was pleasantly surprised by their prompt response.

We have had a disagreement but they fixed it. No bad feelings.

Have been using the smart duvet for years and can say has given some of the best nights sleep ever, it provides a pleasant airflow which helps prevent sweaty nights sleep and the best part is you can set each side of the bed to different temperatures which was a god send for me and my partner meaning a cold side of the bed for me and a much warmer side for her. No more fighting over which cover we have to use. The make my bed feature is also surprisingly useful tool especially when changing the bedding.

First off, best customer service there is.

The SmartDuvet has allowed my wife and I to sleep less like roommates and more like partners. She's a cold sleeper, I'm a hot sleeper. Over the years, we've considered things like separate bedrooms, side by side twin beds etc.
The SmartDuvet has allowed us to both sleep better and more effectively with circulation and temperature control that meets both our needs, allowing us to sleep together better without needing separate devices / sheets / beds.

Over the years I've also battled with night sweats, needing to change clothes in the middle of the night or change our sheets multiple times per week (again, I'm a hot sleeper). The circulation of the SmartDuvet does something magical that just keeps all of those issues at bay simultaneously so I can get a comfortable night's sleep every night.

Me and my wife are both completely different sleepers. Not only that, our room is upstairs and we live in Denver. Our house goes from like 110 degrees in summer to below zero in winter. We use the app all the time to modify the temperature for each of us. On top of that, what I love the most, is even when you put the "heat" mode on, you still don't sweat like you'd think. The best part about the SmartDuvet is that it circulates air. So whether that's hot or cold, it eliminates sweat. And that was basically the whole reason I got it in the first place. I get HOT in the middle of the night, and I frequently sweat, even in winter. For example, it might be 62 degrees, I walk up to bed, I'm freezing… before we owned this, I'd have these huge blankets and by the middle of the night I would be in a pool. It was awful.

Now I set the bed to hot before bed, get it nice and toasty, then turn down the heat when I'm under the covers. Regardless, even with my body temperature regulated, the circulation of hot or cool air makes it comfortable no matter what season we're in. We basically just stopped using any additional big blankets during winter. All we need is the SmartDuvet and a light insert and we're good 365 days a year.

The only disadvantage of SmartDuvet is that it makes your bed so nice that you might not be able to wake up in the morning, you'll be too comfortable. If you prefer to sweat and sleep very little, this product is not for you. Otherwise… I can't recommend this thing enough.

And by the way, I'm not writing this as a new customer, we've had this for over 3 years. The product itself is not only going strong, but we love it as much now (if not more) as we did when we first got it. Customer service is second to none. They do a wonderful job. I would not hesitate to recommend or order this again.

My wife and I absolutely love the SmartDuvet. It has made such a different in our sleep-lives that we have decided to upgrade our SmartDuvet along with our mattress. My wife sleeps super-hot - I call her the nuclear furnace while I need to remain cool - the SmartDuvet does an excellent job of modulating our temperatures so we can get a good nights’ sleep. I can’t say enough about the design of the product - the duvet itself is weighted perfectly. If you are comforted by a weighted blanket, you will truly love the SmartDuvet. Thanks for designing such an amazing product!

We’ve used the SmartDuvet for several years now and love it! We use it every night either on heat or cool and with the airflow it actually makes the comforter lighter.

We purchased the Smart Duvet on Kickstarter on a whim. I run hot at night even with the ceiling fan and a tower fan blowing on me I was still hot under my covers. We have a Sleep Number bed and their cooling layer was over $1500 dollars! The day our Smart Duvet arrived we set it up and that night I put it on max cool setting and instantly felt the cool air flowing through my covers. I slept so comfortably through the night.
The "Make the Bed" feature really helps the bed making process so much faster.
Their customer service is stellar. When reach out to customer service, they have been quick to respond and have walked me through any minor issues. We were always able to quickly resolve the problems. Most of my problems required me to just unplug the unit and plug it back in.
I absolutely love this smart duvet, we have told our friends about it and family about it.
I would absolutely buy this product again without hesitation.

My husband and I have had a Smartduvet for years and it has been life changing. We sleep at different temperatures, so for one side of the bed to be cool and the other side warm has made life so much easier. Also to be able to set the temperature before you get into bed and then be able to climb into bed at the perfect temperature makes your sleep routine that much better. We have gotten to the point where we don’t even have to use an extra comforter or duvet in the winter because the smart duvet keeps our bed at the temperature we are looking for. The automatic bed making is also a win and one less thing to worry about each day. Changing sheets does take a little extra time, but with all the time saved making the bed, it’s absolutely worth it. Also any time we have had an issue, the customer service teams responds very quickly and has helped remedy the problem very quickly. We are extremely happy with our Smartduvet and hope we can use it for decades to come.

Their customer service is excellent! I've contacted them a few times before and after buying from them. Their response time is very quick and really work with the customer. The first time I contacted them was to ask some questions about their products. My questions were answered. When I made my order, the person I chatted with even offered me a discount code, withou me even asking. My order arrived within a week. Once I received my purchase, I had some technical issues which they helped me resolve instantly. Today I contacted them regarding a price differance and within 5 minutes I had the credit it my account. I happened to mention something that I don't like about the product and we shared suggestions on how to fix that. The person I spoke to said they would take my feedback into concideration for their next design. He also gave me suggestions on how to mitigate the issue I have. Over all, the costumer service and their response time is excellent.

Now about the duvet, I LOVE IT! It was such a great investment. I find myself resting much better. My room is very hot and sweat at night. Now I sleep with my duvet in the cool setting and problem solved. Now that the weather is cool, I have been sleeping with the warm setting and I don't have to use the whole house heater. It's just enough coolness and heat to keep me comfortable during my sleep. The blower dpes make noise, I find it relaxing like white noise, however, I bought my mom one and when she heard the noise from mine, she asked to return hers stating she will not be able to sleep with the noise. You either love it or hate it. The self bed making feature is awsome. By a simple tap on my phone my bed is made. This is my first time using a duvet and wash day can be a little of a pain, you have the insert, then the duvet, then the duvet cover; assembling all that takes some time, but once you go through that, the rest of the week is a breeze. The connectors lay on the foot of the bed and it adds extra weight. What matters most to me is that I am having a much more restful sleep and now my bed is always made.
I look forward to keep doing business with them.

I preordered as a kicker starter now close to 8 years ago. For the biggest one they make. Still don’t have it.
I have messaged several times over the years and was always told that ours was in the next batch to go out….
Worst co ever! Do Not Buy or believe what they say they will do because they won’t. Zero stars

I backed this product as part of the Indiegogo and have reached out to them no less than a dozen times to receive the units promised as part of backing - nothing. Occasional "please fill out a new survey so we can ship it to you!", which were a waste of time. Rare cryptic messages from their 'customer service' saying they found my order and were looking into it, etc.

Edit: I am amending my above review as the current Smartduvet team have reached out and refunded me the money - it took a lot of time, but their current customer service team seems responsive and willing to work with customers which is a step in the right direction

I ordered this smart duvet in 12/31/2017 as part of a BackerKit pledge. I have finally received the package today 9/20/2024 after having repeated being in contact with the the maker over the last several years. My review is up to two stars for now since i have at least received the item. Once I get it on the bed and use it a few nights, I'll plan to provide an update.
