They were very responsive from the beginning, and apparently respectful of the property owners during the survey. The report itself was way more detailed and thorough than I was expecting, and had photos, diagrams, and easy to understand explanations of every part of the septic and drainage systems, together with a detailed breakdown of recommended repairs/replacements and improvements together with an estimate of the cost of each. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and very pleased with our decision to use them for the inspection.

From the initial enquiry, to drain survey and completion of works, Nigel inspired confidence with his knowledge and sharp ability to find solutions for an old and failing system. He was quick to respond to any queries and we are grateful for his excellent service and for the hard work undertaken by his team on a difficult site. We were looking for a new company to empty our sewage treatment plant.
An afternoon appointment was easily arranged over the phone and confirmed by e-mail. The tanker turned up on time as agreed. The driver (Jake) was very friendly and professional, and proceeded to empty our sewage tank quickly and without any mess whatsoever. It was the neatest 'desludge' I've seen.
A Waste Transfer Note was then subsequently sent by e-mail, followed by an e-mail with an invoice for the work. Just a click on a link then allowed easy on-line payment. The charge for the 'desludge' seemed very reasonable.
Hence, I couldn't be happier with the overall experience and service I received from Smart Drainage. I will contact them again next year and recommend them without hesitation.

The various crews worked very hard in some extreme conditions dealing with a lot of rock which all had to be shifted by hand up some steep slopes. Always friendly and managed to put most of garden back as it was before
