Ordered a camera bundle from SLR hut.

Got an email the same day advising it had been despatched. Item was shipped from the USA but only took about 6 days to arrive. The tracking link provided kept us updated on the progress.

The bundle itself is exactly what we were sold - camera charger had a UK plug which I wasn't expecting and all the other items were absolutely fine.

The only thing I haven't read up on is the validity of the warranty with the camera coming from the USA but we knew about this risk before ordering and so can't really complain if there turn out to be any issues.

Have to say we were very impressed with SLR Hut and will definitely use again.

Product not received. The FedEx tracking stops at New Jersey USA on 31 May and just shows an exclamation mark. Emailed The company, they are looking into, but 7 days later no news and FedEx tracking is unchanged.
Have opened a case on PayPal.

on their website the camera was in stock, so i purchased it but then was told 48 hours later it was not in stock and would be 2-3 weeks when back in stock, so i emailed them back saying thats not good enough i want a refund/cancel my order and never herd nothing back. ive tried several times to ring no answer/or reply, ive emailed several times and no answer
so hence the bad review

I found a lens I liked and the listing said it was in stock. I waited 5 days for it to arrive and had received no info, so I called them. Only then did I find out it was out of stock and that they wouldn't be sending it. They even charged me without checking they had it.

Terrible communication doesn't cut it, there was no communication and it totally wasted my time.

I was interested in purchasing a OM System TG6 underwater camera but ended up purchasing the newer version TG7 bundle. Henry was incredibly helpful during the decision process, ordering and paying was very easy and I was kept informed of the progress of the parcel at all stages. The box arrived safely and when I opened it I found that everything was well packaged and was in perfect condition. The bundle was excellent value and I was quite surprised at how much I got for my money. The camera itself is everything I had hoped it would be and was does everything I’d been told it would do, so I’m loving it. I am more than happy to recommend SLRhut for purchases.

Paid for 2-3 day express delivery - received an email to confirm it will take 1 week. Emailed, no response. Called, spoke to someone who would call me back, but no response. Called back again today, waited 20 minutes, but nobody answered. Poor!

Absolute clowns. Ordered a camera advertised as "in stock". A week later, after ignoring 2 emails, I spoke to them and was told it was not in stock at all. They lure in customers with attractive pricing for products they don't have. Despite the London number and co.uk address, they are also not even a UK based company. Misleading and unprofessional. I have ordered the camera elsewhere and will be suing them for breach of contract (the difference in price).

Very prompt service. However, I thought the packaging of the OEM box was poor, with virtually no packing between the outer carton and OEM box. The lens had broken loose and there was vey slight damage to the mount sealing ring

Shipping was broadly within the period promised and I was advised that the product was being shipped from USA. This meant that the charger does not have a UK socket plus and the only alternative was a car (Cigar outlet) charger, which is not much use. 1 star off for that. Otherwise a comprehensive bundle at a competetive price and well packaged. Would use this supplier again.

My order was a trouble free purchase and SLR Hut kept me advised of the delivery and the item arrived in good time and in perfect condition.

I purchased 3 x GoPro HERO13 Black Bundle 4, The Bundle advised there would be Underwater LED Light with Bracket for GoPro 2 included however we have received standard lights rather than Underwater ones. I contacted SlrHut twice via email to advice of the above and ask them to collect the wrong items and deliver the correct items I should have received. Not only did they not respond despite me chasing my original email, I tried calling but again was unable to get through. I am disappointed to receive the wrong items with my order but these things happen, what truly disgusts me is the fact they will not communicate with me and were happy to take my money and them ignore me after, truly awful customer service, I would avoid using them if I were you.

Decent turnaround on postage. Item was exactly as described and packaged well.

I had an awesome experience with SLR HUT! Purchased a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN ii which arrived in perfect new condition and within just a few days. Will definitely use this company again!

Bought a Sony RX1r ii, advertised as NEW AND IN STOCK.

It was not new at all, but a well used second hand camera.

I contacted them by call and email, but they are just ignoring me. No contact from customer service at all.

Reading the reviews, there is a common pattern. About 70% of their transactions seem to be fine, the correct item shipped, happy customer. But around 30% are not as advertised, replacement items, used not new, or other issues. When the 30% try to get in touch, they are ignored or fobbed off.

DO NOT USE these people, unless you are willing to gamble and be one of the 70% and not one of the 30%.

Smooth transaction from start to finish. Item arrived on time, exactly as described, and well-packaged. No issues at all—highly recommend!

Lens in stock online. They took my order and payment for something they did not have. 4 days later nothing from them. Managed to get someone that day on phone. To find they could not deliver. Worse still lens is not longer made.
They took my money when they could not deliver the goods!.

Terrible service...I ordered a camera yesterday...this morning I received an email from SLR HUT asking me to phone as they say they have tried to contact me on BOTH my number which are on the order confirmation invoice and correct. I phonede 5 times this morning to SLR HUT...Their mailbox is full and can't take anymore messages, another number ending 9372 is disconnected...and the main number just plays music...a total gimcrack outfit...I wish i'd bought elsewhere...OH, and now I've been cut off after 15 minutes....It would be good if …

4. What sort of gimcrack company are you ??

Customer service is awful once they sold the item which was faulty they don’t care anymore have incurred over £50 in postage costs having to send stuff for repair despite it being a brand new item asked to to be refunded costs didn’t even bother replying won’t use again
