New meal replacement bars taste disgusting .Really sweet but not in a nice way .Rocky road I can hardly get .Gone on to Tesco bars now loads better .

I used to love the chocolate and orange meal replacement bars but the new ones are disgusting with a horrible aftertaste. I hope you can still get the original ones as won’t be buying the new ones again. I have been using the Cambridge bars which are lovely and if your recipe makers try these compared to your new ones they will taste the difference.

The new meal replacement bars are disgusting & leave a horrible after taste.
The products have always been good but these are awful, I hope the old ones don't disappear.

I buy Slimfast from Amazon and I am now 7 weeks in,(2 a day with a meal in evening, some snacks) and have lost almost a stone.
I feel good, sometimes hungry but that is what happens when you want to lose weight! You have to be determined and Slimfast appears to provide essential vitamins etc, no issues with taste,and I don't really eat a lot of sweet things at all.I use Almond milk too.

I have been on this diet for 1 week now I have 2 shakes a day one for breakfast and one for lunch I usually get hungry in between lunch and dinner so I snack of peppers or pineapple and for dinner I have a chicken breast fried in water and a side of baby potatoes boiled in the same pan as broccoli and cut up some more pepper for another side I have lost. 6 pounds just this one week 100% reccomend dont listen to the loaners they gave up to easily

Ive been having the "old"meal replacement bars for abt a year to maintain my weight, they work fine and taste delicious-crunchy and not too sweet, . A week ago I bought 2 packets of the new bars-1)dark choc with cranberries and 2)fudge. I have just tried them and they are disgusting! Soft, no texture at all and soooo sweet! Ive just thrown the remaing bars away. If it aint broke- dont try to fix it Slimfast!

Slimfast are great products that not only taste good, but also help you reach your goals!

I cant understand why people moan about slimfast. After staring in March I've lost 6kg. I dont go to the gym or work out. Just gave up the junk food and follow the plan.... and got smaller plates. The choccy bars do help too.

I started slimfast 2 weeks ago and in total have lost 8Ib which I’m ecstatic about as I’ve done every diet going and never lost that amount. Early days I know but I am actually enjoying the shakes , I blend with fruit and Greek yoghurt to make a smoothie , fill glass with ice and am completely full for ages. I have only tried raspberry and white chocolate shake which is so good , am off to buy the strawberry one soon so hopefully this will be just as good.

I recently tried a Slimfast Strawberry shake but I really couldn't drink it. It had a very unusual smell and a very artificial and unpleasant taste that genuinely made me gag trying to drink it. I'm not sure what animal was milked to make these shakes but it sure doesn't taste very "cowey".... Very disappointing.

The shakes are okay, the meal bars are the most disgusting things I have ever tasted. Complete waste of money

I recently put on a lot of weight, partly due to medication, but also due to just listening to "food noise" and basically giving in.
When I no longer needed the medication, I was left very overweight and miserable.
I started on Slimfast, as I wanted to keep it simple and not wishing to follow a recipe every day whilst working full time. I know I would just get sick of the faff every day whilst also cooking a meal for my family separately.
I started with one for breakfast, and one for lunch with a satsuma and light and free yogurt at lunchtime,then the same evening meal as everyone else but maybe swapping out the creamy mashed potatoes or chips with a baked potato and side salad.
For 2 weeks, nothing happened, not one ounce lost. But I decided to use up the rest of the tubs so as not to waste them.
Then I noticed the changes, firstly I felt less bloated, then I stepped on the scales. 4 pounds in one week! I was thrilled, and more than that I was enjoying the shakes and felt the "food noise" diminishing.
Seeing the numbers on the scale going down encouraged me to carry on and I will continue to use this for as long as i need to. Then to maintain it, I'm planning to use it for breakfast and lunch, but eat more normally at the weekends.
All in all I'm very happy and enjoying feeling lighter and definitely not restricted. Good luck in your weight loss journey.

Used to use them found they used to taste nice this time i struggled to get it down and when i did i felt so sick and still do 10 hours later i will be throwing the others out there has definitely been changes made for the worse as seen by all the other bad reviews

Mold under the foil and product gone bad, made a formal complaint to the company.

I might be interested in purchasing Slimfast & trying to shed a few pounds but I'm afraid your advert on uk television does nothing for your product & find myself switching channels because your ad is so irritating it tells me nothing about Slimfast its just a load of annoying noise.

Very disappointed with the customer service provided when I made a complaint. I purchased a 50 serving tin in chocolate flavour and when I opened the tin it gave of a bad aroma and when I tasted it , it was terrible. I contacted customer service and,provided them the information requested. They did not bother to contact me back for 10 days so I contacted them. Their response was obviously cut and paste pre written letters and fobbed me off with the excuse they wanted to investigate the matter with the factory and suppliers. This made me feel I was at fault and they wanted to check up on me. I would have thought they would have gone out of their way to process a replacement or refund but it seems they would prefer to fight the complaint. I will never buy slim fast again after 12 years of custom.

I hadn't used it for a while and it's supposed to have a "new improved taste" unfortunately it was disgusting, preferred the old ones. Horrible aftertaste and had to force it down, ended up binning it.

I eat many Slimfast, chocolate meal replacement bars and never had a problem.
Unfortunately I found a very hard 1 cm piece in one bar and emailed Slimfast. I just wanted to know what the piece was.
I haven’t had a reply, just advertising emails from Slimfast.
This was over 2 weeks ago now and I am shocked by how they don’t seem to care about their customers. I even received an email asking for a review regarding how my problem was dealt with!

Absolutely disgusting Customer Service !!! Several 'free calls' - after going through speal about adults only etc it ring twice and goes dead. Emailed, no response !!

Chocolate shake mix is vile, smells like pure chemicals, foul taste and 'repeats' with a stale horrible chemical taste. Bought the large 1.752 kg - 50 meals, what a waste of money.
Don't touch it with a barge pole !!!

Product (Caramel shake - 584g) was faulty, smells bad, tastes worse, I tried the 'helpline' after the message about adults only and parental supervision, then you are supposed to get through to some-one, except all that happens is it rings twice and disconnects the call. My wife tried an email to customer services, It was not replied to after a week.
