I bought a shoei glamster from slickshop. Initially I was bit reluctant on purchasing a high ticket item however after researching I confirmed its a legit shop offering authentic product at a competitive price. They kept me posted on the progress & delivered the product in 2 weeks time. Really impressed with their service & recommend it 100%.

Recently I purchased one CBR Akrapovic exhaust and I was offered the best price out of market obviously, the best price was whooping 35% lower than official importer I was more than happy to to see this

I was contacted by a dubai number not an Indian number and then delivery was done local carrier no GST invoice or transaction slip, ( I believe they dont pay any taxes at all and smuggling the goods and selling at a low price)

The moment package arrived all looked fine except the packing material used in the packing, I asked them why such difference is there in the packing because my friend bought the same exhaust from the distributor motopoto and we matched everything all looked the same same except the packing material.

I sent the images to local distributor and asked if that is a genuine exhaust he said no, he said exhaust is counterfeit , I thought it is because of the competition he is saying the same.

I dropped an email to CZ akrapovic HQ and and shown them the all the images, they said we have never made this serial number exhaust in their entire production line. Then by images they confirmed that these are counterfeit they were aware that through Dubai (Asian counterfeits) are routed in India and markets like nepal.

I shared the details with the slickshop whatsapp number and the moment I shared with them they blocked me

They take your payments to Dubai to avoid any hassle in India so that no one can do anything after the payment is done. You wont realise the product is counterfeit or original until you are an expert, but when I checked their prices they were offering massive discounts that the products in Europe arent available at those prices.

Absolutely a scam!!
