I would not rrecommend this programme…

I would not rrecommend this programme overall, especially if you can not get it on the NHS.
I understand all the strategies and how they work to improve sleep, but my sleep was, and still is chronic averaging 4.5 hours per night. I did not improve dispite whatever data they tried throw at me to show it had. All the techniques can be found on line and in books available at a fraction of the price. But I was so desperate I thought I would try it, knowing that the initial outlay would make me complete the course.
While I understand we are all different and some things work for some and not for others it did not work for me.
I was exhausted when I started the course and even more exhausted when I finished. Now I have started taking a nap later in the morning for an hour and feel so much better.
The most frustrating aspect to the course were the replies from advisors to online questions I posed, who would never answer a question directly but gave a very vague comment instead. I did wonder if they werre real people or AI.
For example as I am a lark by nature I am happy to go to bed early and wake up early. When advised to go to bed later and I asked why, the reply was "to consolidate" my sleep. What does that actually mean?
Try absolutely everything before you try this .

The best at curing insomnia.

I must say that sleep station is the best thing ever. The support from the experts was second to none and they actually helped me get back to normal sleeping patterns after over a year of insomnia.

I would definitely recommend Sleep…

I would definitely recommend Sleep Station. Sometimes it was hard to stick to because it was through the Christmas and New Year period but I got there. If you follow the basics it will work

Very informative and useful programme

Found this very useful, the staff were always at the end of a text to offer advice and answer questions and the resources are useful and downloadable so you can keep for future use. You do need to stick to the progamme and not expect overnight results. And pleased to say my sleep patterns have improved on what they were - thank you

Well worth doing

This programme gives some great advice that is relatively easy to instigate into your life. The videos and PDFs are very informative. The online support is also great. I have definitely learnt techniques that I’d never heard before. I’ve gone from, at worst, nights not sleeping at all and struggling for hours to go to sleep to now I usually go to sleep in about 15 minutes most nights. My mental health has improved hugely. I am grateful my GP referred me to Sleep Station.

Bye Bye Insomnia!

I enrolled on Sleepstation because I was fed up with all the headaches I was getting through a lack of sleep! Continually being sleep depraved was effecting my work and social life.
I finished the course a few weeks ago and am so happy not to have a sleep problem any more! I was given support and advice of where I was going wrong whilst I was on the course. I'm pleased with the tools I can continue to use in the future. These are especially useful when stresses occur in modern life! I'm very confident sleep won't be an issue for me in the future.

Worth going ahead

I guess if you are reading this you have insomnia, anything is worth a try to get out of that hell.

My own experience of Sleepstation is that it helped me to break the many weeks long cycle of anxiety and zero sleep that I found myself in following pneumonia and a stay in hospital . I was completely manic and desperate for help. Having always been a poor sleeper I didn't expect too much , only to be able to muddle along like I had previous to this prolonged attack of panic , anxiety and total lack of sleep .

My GP referred me to Sleepstation as sleeping pills , melatonin etc did not work . My reluctance to take SSRI pills helped me enormously as they all seemed to need 6 weeks to take effect , so the 6 weeks offered by CBTI seemed a better chance. I therefore have avoided all medication.

I was so grateful to be able to have someone to tell about the terrible nights, and the structure is so helpful, you can turn to it at any time and get the feeling you are able to do something positive towards recovery . It gives one HOPE !
Initially the sleep deprivation was too terrible and I discussed this with my "coach" and we compromised, so you do need to be proactive with the advice. It does take too long for the reply to a question but in the end you do get a sensible answer.

I initially found the sleep diaries disruptive but I adapted to them and now I have finished the course I feel bereft without them. The helpful fact is that there is often a difference with how you perceive the amount of sleep you have had with the amount you have actually had.

I feel that there is a genuine desire to help by the people involved in the programme but I have to remove a star for the disgraceful fact that they closed down completely for TWO weeks over the Christmas period, that is one third of the entire course , and unacceptable for a company offering a service. It was just as I needed them and I had one question not answered for 16 days as a result .
However ......
Can I recommend this course ? Don't expect miracles but YES, it has really been worth it .

It's great that you found the structure so helpful. Many people appreciate how our entirely online therapy allows them to access support at a time and place to suit them, so thanks for highlighting this.

Over the holiday period, our sleep coaches do take annual leave. Because of this, we try to give everyone a range of options depending on what they feel would be best for them, providing reassurance that their sleep therapy is safe to continue alone during this break. If they wish to carry on over this time, people are able to continue recording their sleep diaries and accessing their weekly therapy sessions.

Many people ask for more flexibility over the holiday season, taking into account a change to their usual routines, so we also suggest they might prefer to take a short break from their therapy during this time.

We're pleased that you were able to still continue making progress and that you achieved the results you were hoping for. If you do find you need some additional guidance, now you've completed your therapy, please do just log back in and drop your sleep coaches a message. They'll be happy to offer you some further guidance.

When I first started with the Sleepstation program I was sceptical that it was going to work.I have struggled with very poor sleep or no sleep at all .Now my sleep is a lot better, I feel more confident about managing my sleep patern.I would recomend Sleepstation to anyone who is having problems sleeping,they are so supportive. Enjoy sleeping again.

I've had sleep issues most of my adult life and I was finally at my wits end. My Doctor referred me to Sleepstation. With their help and support I've had a new lease of life and it's made changes to other aspects of my life. Having a personal coach was invaluable. I could message them with any issues and recieve support which was amazing. I've been given the tools to to fall back on should I need them to help me manage my sleep. Each week I recieved a progress report and from my personal diary they were able to point me in the right direction and between us we tweeked the programme to suit my lifestyle and needs.
I only wished I'd found out about them years ago.
Insomnia can be soul destroying but Sleepstation can help you manage yourself back into a normal healthy sleep pattern and educate your attitude and thinking about sleep.

Sleepstation

Before starting the sleepstation program I was sleeping on average 3.5 hours. After completing 6 weeks on the program I am now sleeping 6-6.5 hours which is amazing.
When I first started the program I was a little sceptical that it was going to work as I had been having problems with sleep for a long time and it was progressively getting worse over the last 6 months to the point where I felt I needed help.
I would recommend sleepstation to anyone who is having problems sleeping, they are so supportive. As a result of completing the program I feel more confident about managing my sleep pattern. I feel more in control and so happy that I have done this without any sort of medication.

Not a Gimmick ... it really does help

When I was recommended Sleepstation I thought it was just another gimmick. Not so. My attitude and approach to sleep has vastly improved along with a good understanding. The advice and tips really have helped and I no longer have the fear factor regarding my Sleep pattern.

This works for me

The programme was much more intensive and thorough , requiring me to really engage more than I imagined ! the sleep reduction was particularly challenging at first - but I am experiencing the positive benefits of that now . I think the insights chart was very helpful too - able to see that I was heading in the right direction boosted my motivation.
Having previously over years experienced getting into bed very tired to then be wide awake and unable to sleep , and the restlessness that went with that - feeling pretty helpless to that - I’m now much more confident and therefore more relaxed . I’ve been falling asleep within 15 mins a lot, and staying more asleep. I can see it has been very helpful within 6 weeks and actually feel excited about building on this experience .

Sleepstation worked for me

This sleep improvement programme worked for me, hence the 5 star review. I got it as part of an NHS trial. I went from having around 5h of light and broken sleep a night and feeling truly awful to sleeping a solid 8 hours and getting my mojo back!
The programme is far from easy, particularly in the early weeks when strict sleep restriction techniques are used. There were a couple of weeks when I could barely function due to tiredness. Also, the chat function is helpful, but does feel rather too slow (2-3 days for a reply), particularly when you’re starting sleep restriction and really struggling. This response time is fine later in the programme when you’re on a more even keel.
The programme includes good advice & techniques to get you back to sleep and I will stick with these.
Overall, Sleepstation worked for me, so thank you!

Sleepstation is a game-changer!

I have nothing but praise for the Sleepstation programme. I learned about it through conversation with a friend. I was fortunate enough to get a referral via the GP but having come through 'the other side', I know that even if I'd paid for it, I would have considered it worth every penny.
I've struggled with insomnia in one form or another for about 25 years and although I'd never consulted the GP about it, I had tried every 'over the counter' remedy I could find, as well as various sleep techniques, none of which have had lasting effects. I had reached a point whereby I was feeling fearful of going to bed because I could guarantee poor sleep, and feeling terrible in the morning - almost every day.
I'm now six weeks on with Sleepstation and can report that the programme is not a 'walk in the park'. It is an interactive process requiring commitment and effort in making personal changes. It presents challenges to long-held habits and beliefs about sleep, and it provides education through carefully collated resources. Personalised support plus plenty of tips and strategies enables the user to use techniques that combat negative thoughts and wakeful periods through the night.
It really has been a game-changer for me and I'm not there yet. I still have struggles with some of those changes, but I can truthfully say that I'm feeling positive and experiencing quality sleep 90% of the time and it's still early days. Thank you Sleepstation. n

When I first started I thought how does it work

When I first started I thought how does this work by phone and you never see anyone. It was hard to start but you must stay with the program otherwise you don’t gain anything and it won’t work properly. I was so amazed how it worked back at the beginning, I wasn’t sure if to do it or not, but now I’m so pleased a life has changed

I’ve struggled with poor sleep for…

I’ve struggled with poor sleep for years and in recent months it has been especially bad. After 6 weeks of coaching with sleep station my sleep is greatly improved. The programme is well researched and presented and it is wonderful to feel supported and understood . I highly recommended the course.

Sleep Station helped me, it could help you to!

I have had problems with insomnia for many years and had fallen into many bad habits with regard to my sleep patterns. Many years ago I was running my own business, I was involved with 24 hr light and heavy vehicle recoveries and consequently being called out at all hours took its toll and this led to returning home at all hrs, wide awake so cups of tea and TV to wind down. It has carried on for decades and sometimes put a strain on family life and relationships with my wife. With having to have several operations in later life and having to deal with that made it even worse. My wife and rock told me about SLEEPSTATION and suggested I tried it; after all I had nothing to lose. It was hard at first to settle into what seemed to be strange instructions but I listen to the specialist team and after a couple of weeks of following this advise I felt better and had a goal to aim for. The help for me has made life a lot better, getting average good sleep times of 6/7hrs. Don’t think about it just get in touch with sleep station and feel the benefits for yourself. JUST DO IT!! Thank you so much to sleep station.

Only after thank you Sleepstation two weeks of Sleepstation…

Only after two weeks of Sleepstation advice and resources which I found very interesting. I found myself sleeping much better. The relaxation techniques were very good and give you options in which one works for you. I continue for now sleeping much better and having deeper sleep. Thank you Sleepstation.

Sleep for me never happen

Sleep for me never happen, this has been an on going issue until I discovered sleepstation. Now I can look forward to a good night rest without having to worry about sleep. Sleepstation has instilled in me good sleep habits. If I fall off the wagon, I can go back to a sleep schedule to get back on track. There are interactive diaries and resources to help. This course will reset more than just sleep...

I have suffered with severe insomnia for at least a decade and then I heard about Sleepstation and decided to give it a go. It is no quick fix but it has changed so much more than my sleep pattern in a positive way. I have felt well supported along the way and have followed suggestions backed up by the science. It has reset so much more than just my sleep. I was very sceptical but I highly recommend this. It takes time and determination and a realistic expectation but I'm very happy indeed with the outcome.
