Another response from Sixways today, claiming that they have answered my complaint via email. I have checked both my inbox and spam, and no response has been received. I am beyond exasperated.

I don't think it tastes nice
I don't think it tastes nice, unfortunately, especially considering the price. Slightly chocolate-y but not that enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend nor will I repurchase.

Truely hideous!! This made me physically sick on my initial taste. Thought id give it the benefit of the doubt and tried again the following day. Managed a sip before starting to feel unwell.
Disappointing customer service with no offer of a money back guarantee like many similar brands. The only advice was to try adding various sweeteners. I literally dont think anything would make this more palatable.
Sadly a big waste of money.

I’ve been drinking this unwind mushroom…
I’ve been drinking this unwind mushroom cocoa for a few weeks and could not believe how well rested I felt when waking up. I have felt more energised and less lethargic when waking and will continue to use this brand. So glad I’ve found it!

I recently tried Sixways Functional Mushrooms' Unwind + Recover, as their blend of ingredients seemed promising. While it's good before bedtime and helps me feel more relaxed, the taste is quite sweet with a noticeable mushroom flavor that's hard to overlook. Some may find it pleasant and treat-like, but for me, it needs a bit of tweaking. I appreciate the convenience of combined supplements, but it's not quite there yet. Overall, a mixed experience but worth considering if you don't mind strong flavors. The product didn't fully work for me, and the customer service could be more helpful with feedback.

I can’t fault the service / delivery
I can’t fault the service / delivery, but sadly the Unwind and Recover Mushroom Blend Cacao Dream Flavour, definitely tastes more mushroom than chocolate and the stevia sweetener is awful too. To actually use this I’d need to try to mask the flavour by adding more cocoa and some sugar which obviously defeats the purpose, so it’s a big no from me.

Disgusting taste
Very suspicious of the website reviews..
I left a 1* website review and it still isn't showing. I'm sure their software used isn't legitimate.
Anyway, I purchased a bag on the basis of positive reviews. Now I am a huge foodie, eat a lot of different things and enjoy a lot of different flavours and I thought the taste of this was awful - like paracetamol/medicine in water.
I really wouldn't recommend. I am not sure whether I received a gone off batch as there was no dreamy chocolatey/cocoa taste as stated on the site and in reviews. Contacted customer service who were no help

It is delicious with hot milk
It is delicious with hot milk! If you leave it for a while it does need to be stirred again but that’s not a problem. I’ve only had it twice so not felt any effects just yet but so far so good! I did try it with hot water and the taste wasn’t the same… I definitely recommend with milk for a creamy flavour and texture.

I am usually sceptical but in a short time of ten days I have found a consistent improvement in sleeping - even if I wake I drop off again. I still take another herbL capsule as well but that wasn'z working on its own

Really sorry but the smell/taste is awful (even when I try to disguise it with Ovaltine) and I haven't noticed any improvement in my sleep. I won't be re-purchasing

Beware of Taste of Unwind & Recover
I ordered Unwind & Recover, Hormone Balance and Marine Collagen and was excited to try them. The Unwind & Recover is absolutely revolting - it has a strong mushroom scent and taste which has rendered it an expensive mistake and there is far too much stevia in it so it's sickly sweet and overpowering. They'd be better reducing or removing the stevia and adding in more pure cacao which has health benefits then people can add sugar or sweetener or choice to taste.
The Marine Collagen is pretty good though (although again, stevia) - but expensive. I haven't tried the Hormone Balance yet as the Unwind has well and truly put me off.

Pleased with product. It's my first drink of the day. Pleasant raspberry flavour & not too sweet. Hope to see some results soon.

I bought this product for its amazing blend of ingredients and think it has great potential but it just needs a bit of tweaking with the ingredient quantities.
The product is just too sweet and leaves a strong aftertaste + the mushroom smell and taste is too strong.

Brilliant products. Working for me!
I was recommended both the focus + elevate and unwind+ recover by a hormone/nutrition specialist and so far they are working for me!! Only been taking for a week. Im not sure if placebo or a mix of other small changes ive made to my diet but my period has returned!! Cant believe it. Unwind is now my bedtime treat. I have been having hot with soya milk. Ok it's not hot chocolate, but the taste is pleasant enough and i've been sleeping brilliantly. My partner has a serious phobia of mushrooms and even he doesnt think the smell is too bad!

Not a nice taste 👅
This product doesn’t work for me I tried it for 2 weeks but it didn’t made any difference. The test it’s bad. I contacted customer service to ask for a refund but they didn’t help. I reckon they should write that the taste is not nice I wouldn’t have bought it if this was stated.
