SITENG – Engineering Academy is a modern approach to construction training, focused on developing practical, real-world skills that engineers and construction professionals can use directly on site. Our courses cover essential on-site engineering techniques including setting out, surveying, reading construction drawings, levelling, control, grid systems, total stations, and engineering workflows. We bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world practice by using practical site-style exercises that build confidence, competence, and speed. Whether you’re new to construction, a student or graduate entering the industry, or a construction worker looking to learn, or improve your setting out skills — our goal is to help you understand not just what to do, but why and how it matters on site. Alongside our in-person training, we offer accessible online courses, available worldwide, with thousands of learners developing their skills through structured lessons, demonstrations, and downloadable learning materials. These online programs allow anyone, anywhere, to build strong engineering foundations at their own pace. SITENG is more than just training — it is a growing community of people who love construction. Through engaging content, real project discussions, and honest insights into everyday engineering challenges, we are working to change the image of the industry, inspire the next generation, and raise the standard of site engineering across the UK and beyond. Thank you for the feedback — much appreciated. I’m really pleased to hear you found the training helpful and gained new skills, from setting up the total station to working with the laser - essentials for us engineers in construction. Wishing you every success going forward.
The two day sessions were blended with less theoritical and more pratical experience, Gained more confidence on using total station, able to get knowledge on setting out, marking grid lines, coordinating, resection, two way error checks, settingup the instrument, laser levels.

An excellent and highly practical course. The training covered all essential surveying tools, setting-out procedures, and levelling techniques with clear explanations and hands-on practice. I finished the course with much stronger skills and greater confidence in performing accurate site measurements.

I recently completed the site engineering course with Greg at SITENG, and it exceeded my expectations. Greg is incredibly knowledgeable and breaks down complex topics like setting out, levelling, and reading construction drawings into simple, practical steps you can apply straight away on site.
The course was very hands-on, and Greg made sure everyone understood the techniques before moving on. His real-world experience and approachable teaching style made a massive difference. I left feeling confident about using the equipment and applying what I learned in my job.
Highly recommend this academy to anyone looking to start or advance their career in site engineering.
