Great binocular harness with amazing quality!

I’ve had the Siatrex 28L pack and bino harness out in the field and they’ve both been great so far.

The pack sits really well, has heaps of room, and feels comfortable when you’re covering a bit of ground. The bino harness has also been really handy, keeping everything secure and easy to get to when needed.

Overall I’m really happy with the gear. It feels solid, practical, and well suited for hunting. The team have also been awesome to deal with, so I’d definitely recommend checking them out.

I picked up the SIATREX Apex 5000 and the SIATREX bino harness chest pouch recently, and overall I’m really impressed with both — especially for the price point. They definitely compete with and hold their own against some of the more expensive brands out there.

The gear feels strong and resilient right away. The zippers, stitching, and seams all seem well built and durable. The Apex 5000 is a huge bag, which is great for extended trips and hauling gear. For smaller loads, I do think it could benefit from a couple extra compression straps to tighten things down a bit more, but other than that it’s been epic so far.

The bino harness setup has also been solid. The magnetic closure works well and does a good job keeping the binos clean and dry. It took me a little while to get used to closing it gently to cut down the slight noise the magnet makes when snapping shut, but once you get the feel for it, it’s not an issue.

Overall, really happy with the setup and excited to keep putting it through more field use

Been testing the Apex 5000 along with the Bino-X harness system now for about 6 months. It’s been on several fishing trips and recently a high country spot and stalk bear hunt in the Canadian Rockies.

I was a bit reluctant at first as Siatrex is a relatively new company and I rely heavily on my gear for survival. However, upon first receiving my package, I could tell it would be a great addition to the gear. Stitching and zippers are top quality, lots of pockets and loops to organize the abundance of gear needed for extended stays in the backcountry. I was able to pack everything needed internally in this bag, unlike several of the other bags I’ve owned.

The Bino-x system offered convenient additions for range finder, phone storage, release, GPS and licenses. I am patiently waiting for the bear spray holster to be released. In Canada, we cannot carry a sidearm. So when bowhunting, bear spray is a must. The bino box on this harness is large enough to house a set of 12x50 Leopold binoculars and quick easy to use. The magnets are quiet and quite strong, my only minor gripe is the tap on the lid is difficult to open with gloves. Added an extra rope to the loop and problem resolved.

All said and done, I really feel there isn’t a better value for the money currently in the outdoor market. I am looking forward to pushing this bag to its limits this fall when the guide season starts!
