Shuttercraft - Cambridge Anmeldelser

After several positive recommendations from friends whom had used this company previously, we decided to get shutters. Gene was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He discussed the best options for our windows and put us at ease. Once the shutters were ready he got back in touch to arrange our fitting. The work was carried out beautifully and what a difference it has made to our windows. I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent service from Gene. The shutters are absolutely stunning, well worth the wait and worth EVERY PENNY! We had 3 quotes from 3 different businesses, went with Gene because we liked him the best, his ideas were better and the price was very good. Excellent communication. I’m sure we will be back having more shutters fitted in other rooms. Our bay windows are now beautiful!! Have given his number to friends who are interested in buying. Highly recommended, many thanks, Vicky & Mark, Norfolk.

Extremely frustrating experience with Shuttercraft Cambridge, specifically their franchise holder, Gene. He didn't show up for the first appointment "he forgot", but then rescheduled for the next day, and cancelled on short notice. He didn't follow-up and stupidly we gave them another chance, only for the exact same thing to happen again—three times in total! After waiting in yet again, we were let down at the last minute.

Completely unprofessional and a total waste of time. If reliability matters to you, look elsewhere.

Gene's final comments upon repeatedly wasting our time were "sorry it didnt work out - good luck", no apology or attempt to make amends. Glad business is so good they can treat potential new customers with such contempt.

Excellent service from start to finish, very professional job and really pleased with shutters

Really pleased with our new shutters. Gene is great. Excellent customer service, polite, tidy and shutters look seamless. Definitely recommend.

Really pleased with the job done.
Excellent shutters and workmanship

We cannot recommend Gene from Shuttercraft highly enough. He is reliable, polite, patient, efficient and very skilled at his job. Excellent communication all the way through. We absolutely LOVE our new shutters. They are AMAZING!!! Thank you Gene for a job well done 👍

I had an outstanding experience with Shuttercraft! Gene was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was incredibly knowledgeable and communicative, but what I appreciated most was how he didn't take up loads of my time during the initial quote—such a difference compared to other companies I contacted.

Shuttercraft also provided temporary blinds while I waited, which was a total game changer. It made the whole process so much easier and stress-free. They even fitted the non-shutter blinds ahead of time, which was a thoughtful touch.

The blinds look stunning and have transformed my home. I couldn’t recommend Shuttercraft more highly. Brilliant company, top-notch service!

Excellent product and service in every respect. The shutters have solid construction and perfect paint colour matching. Gene listened carefully and understood our brief instantly and went above and beyond to work with the existing window treatments so that the shutters complement rather than replace what was already there. His measurements were meticulous and installation was skilled, exact and efficient. He was flexible and helpful in offering an installation date as early as possible. Highly recommended - many thanks.

We asked Gene to quote and install plantation shutters in our bedrooms. Gene came up as very polite, very patient and not pushing. He came several times to discuss changes, and explained clearly the differences and offered good advice. The communication was very efficient and he was prompt to answering our queries. The work was carried out cleanly leaving us with beautiful shutters that really add to the rooms. I can't praise the service provided highly enough.

Shuttercraft was recommended to us by a friend and we haven been disappointed .

Really professional from start to finish, so pleased with quality and way they look.

I would definitely use them again. Many thanks.

We’re absolutely happy with our Shutters. The experience from start to finish was smooth Gene is so pleasant to deal with and knows his stuff and comes up with suggestions and solutions.
The installation was carried out efficiently with work areas kept clean and tidy. We are so pleased with our Shutters and have no hesitation in recommending Gene and Shuttercraft

Shutters are a huge statement and investment, so researching and comparing companies was a no brainer for me purchasing my first home solo.

The difference with Shuttercraft was immediate, Gene, was absolutely relaxed, there was no intimidation in the over up sell like other companies I had out to quote. I felt very at ease, he answered all my questions and told me to not make final decisions on things like having the shutters fitted inside the recess or not. This was extremely reassuring. 11 weeks from measuring up, ordering, and just in time for the spring mornings, my shutters have completed my home! Thank you Gene for being so supportive in my decision making and for being the tidiest tradesperson I know!

I highly recommend shuttercraft as the company to fit your shutters, they really have transformed our house. Gene guided us through the process and delivered an outstanding and professional service that did not disappoint. The results are simply amazing. Absolute value for money. Thank you Gene and Anton, top marks.

I can highly recommend shuttercraft, Gene was very friendly with speedy responses and did a marvellous job of fitting our shutters. They really have transformed our house! Thanks again Gene!

After previously having sitters fitted to French Doors, we decided to go 'all in' withe the rest of the house. The look is great! Correspondence and Installation was first class. Since the shutters were installed the difference in heat retention has been amazing! I can't speak highly enough. Thank you Gene!!

Efficient and friendly service at a great price. The shutters look beautiful and are great quality. Hightly recommend.

Second install of an additional shutter and venetian blind, Good quality products, competitively priced and installed without any issues, so all in all very pleased at a great job.

Friendly service, fitting was clean and tidy and good value when compared to other shutter suppliers

I am very pleased with the internal shutters I had fitted to downstairs and upstairs windows. They look very elegant and clean and are simple to operate. Very nice quality material, and they really give a nice sense of privacy in the day when semi-open, and darkness early in the morning (when they are fully shut). They allow a lot of control over light levels. I'm hopeful they will also keep the house warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Gene was very professional and polite, and didn't leave any mess behind at all. I thoroughly recommend the company.
