Great in terms of what they offer, dissapointed that they want a one month notice for cancelling and you aren't being told in an explicit manner about it, rather it's just a small print so I ended up having to pay for an extra month.

I couldn’t praise the person who helped me - Magda enough. Magda's customer service was outstanding—professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout. It’s rare to experience such a high level of care and dedication. Truly excellent service!

Shurgard is a total disgrace of a company. As a family moving we used two units. When we cleared out the first unit there were mice/rat poos everywhere (I have photos to prove). Our leather boots and bags were totally ruined.. including furniture that was nibbled at.
Take a look at the opening times.. We hired a taxi van to collect the heavier items for an hour and by 7pm I was locked in on the first floor with my partner loading the van.. then returning to help.. panicking about me as he couldn't get back in to the building. He phoned and told me to leave. He had the padlock so I had to leave our unit unlocked. We waited almost an hour for security to come and open the main gate to let us out. The security man said this has happened recently and they need to update their opening times. I am writing this on behalf of my mother.. who is 81 years old next month) who said it was one of her worst experiences in all her years she has ever had with a company.
Through all of this I phoned, emailed and tried to contact a member of staff.. Could never get through and no one even cared when I eventually did.

Went to reserve a unit in Edgware, London branch today. Magda was very helpful and friendly. She showed me the sizes of the units, helped me with the app and showed me how to use it. She explained everything very clearly. It was very easy to get this sorted with her help.

A professional and supportive service from the onset. Magda and Nadia were dedicated to helping me feel competent with the storage unit and offered continuous support and valuable advice.

Great place, clean and convenient. You enter the premises with an app on your phone. Security cameras are everywhere, so you feel very safe. There is an attendant in the working hours for those who prefer old school or for first timers, but you can also visit your storage unit after work, like till 9pm which is very convenient. I am very happy with Shurgard.

Easy access through the app on my phone and it was also very easy to find my storage. Trolleys were available to transport my items. Although the process was okay, they should have staff on site to direct the first rentals.
