Don't waste your time with this theme. Barely works and when you need a fix takes days if not weeks for simple issues. Support is nonexistent. Shrine has been down for 2 days and customers can't checkout on stores. All devs are MIA, one message saying they have no issue on there end with no further updates. They deflected and blamed Cloudflare, and still have yet to update the community or help anyone. I've lost thousands of dollars due to the incompetence and lack of help. Already working on a new theme to get away from this horrible service.

I’ve been using the Shrine Pro theme for a little over two weeks now, and unfortunately it does not live up to what is promised in the marketing.

While the website presents Shrine as a highly conversion-focused and feature-rich theme, in practice the options are quite limited. Many basic things require workarounds or additional paid apps. For example, the bundle functionality is very restricted: you can only create one global bundle that appears on all product pages, not separate bundles per product. To achieve normal bundle behavior, I had to purchase an additional app, increasing monthly costs.

Customization options are also more limited than advertised. Certain layout and UX choices (such as disabling elements on specific pages like the cart page) are not possible, not even via custom code. Multi-language support is another weak point: the language selector behaves inconsistently and cannot be configured in a clear or user-friendly way, even after extensive testing.

Another issue I find concerning is the marketing claim on the Shrine website showing “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ based on 23,000+ reviews.” These reviews are not clickable, cannot be viewed anywhere, and there is no clear place to leave a review yourself. Independent platforms such as Trustpilot show a very different picture, which makes this on-site rating claim impossible to verify.

Overall, I don’t feel this theme offers enough value compared to Shopify Theme Store themes, especially considering the price and the additional costs required for essential functionality. For me, Shrine Pro has been disappointing and did not deliver what was promised.

I was skeptical at first but they over delivered this theme is so customizable and I like the fact that you can buy the product off the homepage, I used atlas before but this is 10x better in my opinion plus they don’t make you pay each month:)

Be sure to think carefully before buying this theme, as there are no refunds or trial periods. Read their sales policies carefully first. I paid for the shrine pro theme, after a week I asked for a refund they said their policies don't allow. So I didn't find satisfaction with the features. It's also different from the basic shopify themes I've tested. Le comble shrine pro doesn't even have FAQ sections. You'll even need an application to manage your bundles. The only positive point I found was the truspilot reviews. Personally, I don't think the product is worth the price.

Shrine Pro currently costs around $420. At that price, I wonder why people don’t just buy themes from the Shopify store, which are much faster, more secure, compatible with other apps, and come with lifetime updates and support. Shrine Lite and Shrine Basic are not worth it either, as they lack most essential features, forcing you to subscribe to additional apps and pay extra every month.

It’s also important to mention that app compatibility is limited compared to Shopify store themes. The return policies are legally questionable as well. In Germany and the EU, even digital products come with a right of return. Just because something is digital doesn’t mean the right of withdrawal is void.

The fact that their support hides behind their return policy when customers are dissatisfied and want a refund seems highly unprofessional to me. Sometimes I think this company is just run by a bunch of teenagers. On top of that, you have to pay extra for upgrades and support—another $27, which you would also get for free in the Shopify theme store.

In the end, I can say that this theme is not worth it, and you are better off with Shopify themes from the theme store. They cost almost the same anyway, so I always wonder why anyone would buy a theme from here.

I purchased this theme expecting a high-quality product, especially given its premium price. However, I was extremely disappointed. The theme is nearly identical to the free Zendrop theme, which is far more functional.

On top of that, the theme is riddled with bugs, and its usage is restricted to a single website, a crucial limitation that was not clearly disclosed upfront. If you want to use it on another website, you must purchase an additional license.

When I requested a refund on the first day, my request was immediately denied, with the company strictly hiding behind their refund policy. Their customer support was unhelpful and dismissive, making no effort to address my concerns.

Overall, this feels like a scam, they take your money, deliver a subpar product, and refuse to offer any solutions. I strongly advise against purchasing from this company.

I'm so impressed with their support! I'm not very tech-savvy, and the support team has been amazing—I seriously appreciate their help. I'm still getting used to using all the apps it includes, but so far, so good. If anything changes, I'll update this review. For now, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Theme was good but they stopped responding to my emails 1 month ago. Very disappointed since I purchased lifetime support.

They also gave a free upgrade to a friend after responding to his request 2 days later.
And for me? 1 month of nobody responding and nothing at all.
And their CEO is sending weird random messages and calling me on Discord?
You can't just treat customers differently like this. I felt being discriminated.
