Placed my order on December 28th 2025, and at time of writing I have not received anything.
I ordered from this business a few years ago and received good quality items (hence the 2 star review) But so far the service is 1 star. 8 months waiting for an order is unacceptable.
Their customer service have responded several times and just say that they are working through a backlog.
Reading through responses to other reviews here it seems they changed hands at some point but it's not clear when. So I don't even know if my order was placed with a company that's still operating.
Shop Meraki LTD is a clear and organized scam. Here’s my story, which proves their fraudulent practices:
2023: Ordered brass door stops → 6 months of waiting before finally receiving the product.
2025: Ordered a brass house number → 8+ months of waiting, then forced refund only after relentless pressure (they claimed the Chinese supplier had changed).
January 2026: Ordered the EZRA Numbers brass house number (€265) on my own accord, thinking they had finally improved. 8 months later, still nothing. Their customer service, based in Asia (replies at 4 AM Belgian time), now claims they are “liquidated.” Yet:
Their website (shopmeraki.co.uk) is still active, selling the same products.
Their UK address is fake (invalid VAT number, mailbox service).
They continue to operate and take new orders.
This is not a mistake or a delay—it’s a deliberate scam designed to waste customers’ time and money. Their tactics are:
Unrealistic delivery times (6 months, 8+ months, 8 months and counting).
Forced refund in 2025 (only after pressure) to regain customer trust.
Fake liquidation in 2026 to avoid refunds.
Do not fall for their lies. If you’ve ordered from them:

MERAKI. IRONMONGERY LTD is an entirely new and separate business, with a different owner, a new domain, a new website and new operations. We acquired the meraki. brand and operations only. We did not buy, and are not responsible for, the previous company's debts, existing orders or liabilities.
Every order described here was placed with that previous company, not with us. You have not purchased anything from this business. This review belongs on the profile/domain of the company you actually dealt with, where your experience took place.
For the record, as the review makes specific factual claims: our VAT number (522419610) and registered address are genuine and verifiable on the HMRC VAT checker and at Companies House, and the previous company's insolvency is or will be a matter of public record and not something we are able to comment on as we are not party to it. None of these claims are true, and it is neither fair nor accurate to describe a legitimate, separately owned business you have never bought from as a "scam".
We are sorry for the experience you have encountered with the previous company, and encourage you to continue to seek remedy through the appropriate routes.
Very poor handling of an outstanding order
For clarity, my original order was placed with the previous company operating the meraki brand, rather than the current legal entity. However, my review here relates specifically to the customer service I have subsequently received from the company now operating meraki.
I contacted meraki in May regarding my outstanding January order and was told that it was still “in the production queue”, was “actively being tracked”, and that I would be contacted as soon as there was any movement.
I then heard nothing for three months.
When I chased again in August, my first response was an email intended for another customer, referring to a chargeback I had never made. After I pointed out the error, I was finally told that the previous company had gone into administration and that the new company could not access its records or process/refund my order.
I appreciate that the current company may have no legal responsibility for the debts of the previous business. My concern is the customer service provided by the current company. If my old order could not be accessed or fulfilled, I cannot understand why I was told in May that it was in production and being actively tracked, rather than being told about the change of ownership and advised then to pursue recovery of my payment.
Had I been given accurate information in May, I could have approached my bank three months earlier. Instead, I continued waiting because I had specifically been told my order was still being processed.
I had been considering purchasing approximately 18 handles for a future kitchen project from the current meraki business. Unfortunately, the way this has been handled has left me with ZERO confidence in doing so

Absolutely love my new cupboard handles, you can feel the quality.So much choice to suit your decor. Didn’t realise there was an option for express delivery as delivery did take just over 4 weeks, fine if your not in a hurry as they are made to order. My next order I will choose express. Iv never got my product from them. They have my money and Iv been battling with them and trying to get my money back for nealy a year now. They say the can refund because the order is on its way soon but then months go by and still no handles. This is a scam of a website, avoid avoid avoid!!
It has still taken a year to get to this point and I’m being told it’s not there fault as it was the previous company that has now changed hand to someone else. Why should have I had to do this much admin over some handles order. The new company say the only way is though the bank by claiming it as like an insurance claim. That means this company took my money and have got it still, the bank has to sort it out. I feel this company is not a good company to use and you’ll be better off getting your handles else ware to save yourself time and disappointment

Horrendous company…if they are even real. Payment made, no sign of goods. Multiple enquiries with no answer over a 2 month period. Finally had to get credit card company to retrieve payment.

This company is a scam. It has been a year since I placed an order, took my money but never delivered. No way to reach them other than email - which they don’t reply. Will be taking them to small claims court.
Avoid like the plague.

Do NOT shop here. 5 months after an order was placed (and they took my money but failed to deliver) I am still waiting for a refund. Terrible company. To be avoided
They have failed/refused to refund the money, which is what the new company who has taken over the old company (apparently) should be doing without delay
