Do not subscribe to this site. Their customer service is the worst that I've ever encountered, they are very slow to respond and when they do respond they're not helpful at all. The site itself is nice to look at and the widgets are very useful but it is WAY overpriced. Sellerboard has more useful features than Shopkeeper at a WAY lower price. If you need customer service with Shopkeeper, good luck.

J'ai eu un souci avec Amazon. J'ai donc contacté le service client Shopkeeper, qui m'a certifié être en mesure de m'aider et de solutionner mon problème. Evidemment, moyennant 1500$ (un peu plus de 1200€). Résultat : rien n'a été fait. Trois pauvres contestations faites avec toujours les mêmes arguments. Des phrases reformulées mais dont le fond reste identique. Depuis que je demande des preuves du travail effectué et fourni, silence radio de la part de l'équipe de Shopkeeper. Mes mails restent sans retour, impossible de les joindre. Leur logiciel est bien mais pour le reste FUYEZ!
"Lifetime licence" - be aware of unethical breach of promises
We purchased the Shopkeeper theme in 2015 with a lifetime license, and at that time the product description clearly stated that the Slider Revolution and WP Bakery page builder plugins were included.
Our website currently has more than 200 pages, plus portfolios and over 400 blog posts — all built using features from these plugins.
Now Getbowtied are removing these plugins from Shopkeeper and asking us to obtain separate licenses for Slider Revolution and WP Bakery. This feels like an unethical breach of promise and potentially a violation of marketing regulations.
Worst of all
Since our entire site depends on WP Bakery, and we cannot rebuild everything using Elementor or Gutenberg as they now seem to assume, is it even possible to trust Getbowtied - will they continue to release updates that is ok to use together with WP Bakery?
No more lifetime updates!
I bought the Shopkeeper theme years ago, and it clearly promised lifetime updates. After years, the latest version now shows a big “Important Notice” message saying updates are blocked unless you pay for a Professional Plan. The message is visually terrible, tacky, and feels outright dishonest. It’s a classic bait-and-switch, and very disappointing that the lifetime update claim is still on the sales page.
Lifetime updates promise broken — updates now locked behind paid plan
I purchased the Shopkeeper WordPress theme years ago through ThemeForest. The product page clearly states: “Are updates free for lifetime? Yes, updates are provided free for lifetime!”
After almost nine years of uninterrupted use, the latest version (v7.9.2) suddenly shows this message:
“Your license is active, but your Professional Plan has expired. Renew your support plan to access premium features, built-in updates, and priority assistance.”
This effectively disables updates unless I pay again, which directly contradicts the “lifetime updates” promise still written on their sales page today.
It’s a classic bait-and-switch: sell with lifetime updates, then reclassify them later under a paid “plan.” Very disappointing from both GetBowtied and Envato, who continue hosting that promise publicly.
Until this is fixed, 1 star.

Same as many people, problem with subscription charges.
I was offered 60% discount on subscription fees lifetime which i joined. After using it for a few months i got a message saying i need to upgrade and my subscription has expired which is not true and still active.
I reached out to support and i was given loads of reason problems with apple pay or even something with amazon refunds which i am not sure how it is related to the subscription. I was also told it is very difficult to execute with codes and stuffs.
Anyway, i am trying to pay them money to be a consumer which for some reason it is very difficult for them.
I signed up for a lifetime discount, my subscription is still active there is literally no reasons that should be cancelled.
This is the most weird issue i have encountered. More surprisingly, i thought it would be solved easily but after so many emails back and forth, i still dont know how to continue to pay them.

Be very careful with this company. Their app does not allow you to change the payment system from annual to monthly. If you request the change via chat, they confirm it by email and then they do not carry it out and tell you that they cannot refund your money. A real scam that we will pursue until we get a refund. These acts cannot be allowed.
Fraudulent Charges and Awful Customer Service
I’ve been a loyal customer of Shopkeeper.com for over three years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.
In November, I paid my annual subscription fee of $864 as usual. However, in December, they unexpectedly charged me an additional $1,463 without any notice. That’s nearly double the cost of my original yearly plan! When I contacted customer support, they gave me vague explanations, no resolution and just stopped replying.
What’s worse is their refusal to acknowledge the issue or refund the excess charges, leaving me no choice but to file a fraudulent transaction case with my credit card provider. I have never experienced anything like this with any other company.
The customer service is absolutely appalling—no clear answers, no accountability, and no respect for customers’ concerns. I trusted Shopkeeper, but I can no longer recommend them.
Beware of Shopkeeper’s unfair practices. If you value transparency and customer support, look elsewhere.
I am disappointed
I am disappointed. I was looking forward to having all marketplaces offered as an interface. So, I immediately subscribed. But! Shopkeeper is not transparent regarding the subscription model and their promises. It's a total disappointment.
When I started to gradually connect my four marketplaces after subscribing, I discovered that, for example, connecting to Etsy doesn't work at all. According to support, they are "in talks with Etsy" and it will be available soon. Yes, but why do you include Etsy in the package if it doesn't work?
The dashboard is also a disappointment. Only Amazon data is displayed, but not eBay or Shopify. According to support, the dashboard is under construction, which is why the data for Shopify and eBay are not shown.
I could write even more. A lot is promised, but in reality, less than half is offered, and even that only works to a limited extent. In short: definitely not recommended.

I've been using Shopkeeper for my Amazon selling business for several months now, and it's hard to overstate just how transformative this tool has been for me. Before Shopkeeper, I felt like I was navigating in the dark, trying to make sense of my sales, profits, and inventory levels without a clear understanding. With Shopkeeper, all of that changed.
The interface is incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to quickly access a comprehensive overview of my business's vital statistics. I can see my profits, losses, inventory levels, and much more with just a few clicks. This level of insight has empowered me to make informed decisions that have significantly boosted my sales and efficiency.
Biting the hand that feeds. AVOID.
Where do I start with this company… I’ll start from the beginning, I’ve been using shopkeeper since it first came out about 2 1/2 years ago. Because I liked it so much I became an affiliate for them. I currently have quite a large social media following and also mentor students in Amazon FBA. I then received three signups, and at the point of receiving those sign ups, each signup equated to $50. I then requested my money for the signups, only to be met with a flippant response, telling me that they had a company policy and required me to have a minimum of five signups to get a withdrawal. Absolute rubbish in my opinion, but they did not seem to want to help. Fast forward 10 months, I finally get the additional two signups required (the conversion rate from free trial to sign up is abysmally low because of all of the below bad reviews and how the company runs itself.) I then have to hound them to get the withdrawal (which now should be $250,) but what I received was $128 (£101) just over half of what I should have received! This is apparently due to a change in policy that they have now had, whereby they’ve changed the commission structure from being $50 per signup to only a recurring commission of 15% of the monthly transaction (the equivalent to $7 per month per sign up.) When I challenged this, they claim they made this change a while ago, however I spoke to two other affiliates in the space and they never notified any us at all! What makes it worse is that when you log into the portal for the affiliate commission, it still shows $50 per bloody signup!
That aside, moving onto the actual customer service experience, as I am still a customer for Shopkeeper as well as an affiliate. I paid for an annual subscription in November as it was advertised at a cheaper rate. I paid £170 equivalent of roughly $220 to secure the rate for the year. Fast forward to today, the 11th of January, and guess what shopkeeper fraudulently and without my authority debited my card again for another £170! They claim it’s because I’ve moved over to a higher bracket and they’ve pro-rated my bill for the whole year at a higher rate.
This is abysmal customer service because I never agreed to this, I never allowed them to debit my card second time, and moreover I paid for the annual subscription in November and should not be charged again till the following November. If they’re trying to claim that they can up the bill after you’ve paid for an annual subscription, then not only did they miss-sell the package (because I paid for a whole year, not two months!), But they committed fraud by debiting my card without my approval.
In conclusion, this is one of THE WORST, companies I’ve ever come across, both in their treatment of affiliates, and in their treatment of customers. I’m going to file a merchant dispute to get my funds back from the absolute scammers, and I will actively be dissuading people from ever using their software.
Not only do they bite the hand that feeds them (their affiliates,) but they treat customers like absolute crap. From their blunt and unhelpful responses to poor customer service and extremely shady and dishonest business practices, this is a company destined to fail.
You cannot treat customers and affiliates this way and expect to be able to compete in a space where you are one of the most expensive pieces of software and are arguably the least effective.
As I said, I will not be using this software again, and I will be actively dissuading people from ever buying shopkeeper again.

This company are thieves, gave me wrong numbers for a year then fixed it to show negative numbers and told me was my problem, BE AWARE!
Terrible Customer Service
I recently encounter some terrible customer service from Shopkeeper. I joined a program that provides 90days free trial of shopkeeper. I used the link and after 14days, I received a msg stating that I need to upgrade as my free trial was over. I contacted shopkeeper support and explained the situation. Rather than believing that their customer (me) did in fact use the link and maybe there was an error, they repeatedly accused me of not using the link and claimed they couldn’t do anything to help. I tried to explain that it would not make sense for me not to use the link that offers 90days free trial since I am part of this program, however, they refused to assist me and blatantly ignored my last message explaining this. Their lack of understand, empathy and willingness to help correct the situation demonstrates poor customer service. In addition, they are more expensive than the competitor so I would not recommend shopkeeper.
