Would give 0 if I could. Charging up to £25,000 for a course that is basically leveraging his brand Sequoia Homes to estate agents to get R2R/HMO deals. Many HMOs were looked into and when sent to sequoia, they send absolutely ridiculous offers to estate agents which basically make them cut contact. Not the best investment I’ve made and don’t think I’ll ever recover from the financial loss. All my life savings gone in an instance! You’ll never see the main guy posting about the course he sells on his TikTok, LinkedIn, or YouTube - I wonder why? If you’re looking into or close to buying this - please do not, religion is being used as a deceptive weapon to get a certain demographic that are struggling to give all.

We have been let into a business model that appears not to be viable and wouldn’t generate a profit. This situation would result in the loss of fees paid without any returns or benefits.

I would avoid this program at all costs. We have lost all our investment due to this misleading investment opportunity. The shameful aspect is the use of religion to deceive the wider Muslim community. Shame on you, Tanim Zaman

I lost £7K part of group investment in this so called HALAL property investment. You will not now the plan only after you pay and sign the contract. The plan is you will be a salesman going around letting agencies and that's it.

Mr Tanim Zaman in his Halal property webinar presented this program to have a new strategy that should lead to 10x better results in finding a profitable property deals, with less work on our side. The strategy is not revealed until you pay and sign the contract. The strategy is visiting 30 agents or more every week. this is not in anyway a new or unique strategy as he claimed.
We found out very quickly the strategy is not viable everywhere specially in west London where we live because when you deduct the furnishings they provide and their fees you will be making a huge loss.
We pointed out the issue to Mr Tanim Zaman but he quoted us terms of the contract which is clearly constructed to state that this is just a a training course.

During the sales webinar nothing was mentioned that this program is just a training course instead he repeatedly emphasised that we will be Sequoia Homes partners and exit at some stage but that is after you find deals in your area which will never happen in our area of west London because as mentioned before the numbers will never work.

We asked for mediation as in the contract Mr Tanim Sent us details of a person who has nothing to do with mediation in-fact after quick search on companies house we found out he is an ex business partner which was quite a shock.

After refusing to engage in serious dialog to resolve our dispute and return our £20K investment we issued a letter before claim based on misrepresentation of the viability of the program in our area of west London and breach of term of the contract by failing to provide a legitimate mediation service.

The best thing about my time being mentored by Tanim was his way of building you as a complete entrepreneur. He would encompass all sides of business not just the property side of things and other technicalities but would also teach us the spiritual sides of things.

Furthermore, his programme was pretty much set up on a plate for anyone to success - literal baby steps to success as long as you follow by the will of Allah.

I don’t think there’s a lot of mentorship programmes out there that allow you to have weekly calls with the main business owner and access to the main person through direct contact.

His strategy for the HMOs was precise and he provided all the extra support needed , which was essential as the HMO game is heavily regulated. The micro strategy worked for many people on the programme that applied the steps that Tanim provided. It also built a community which are still in contact and are helping each other all these years on!

In a time I understand that there’s loads of paid courses that are difficult to trust and certain public figures that sell anything for profit.

But I knew Tanim before he went heavy on content on social media - and can definitely say he was sincere in helping us all out and will be today too.

Fantastic opportunity, the support provided, the access to a network unlike any other in the property space and the materials available cannot be underestimated.

The whole team from the different coaches, mentors and other mentees on the program provide invaluable experience for anyone looking to get into this space.

A genuine route into the property space that can transform your output if you’re willing to put in the effort!

There is a sense of genuine care and togetherness shared across everyone associated with the academy, the team really do want to see you succeed which is a stark contrast to a lot of the taboos associated with this industry, coupled with the direct mentoring and coaching it has genuinely been an amazing journey thus far.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a passive, reliable and future proof income source to get started with the Sequoia Academy.

The purpose of this review is to be completely honest and help others in deciding if the £20k investment in the Sequoia Advantage Programme is worthwhile.

The model revolves around leveraging the Sequoia brand to build your own portfolio with extensive support from Sequoia.

The model of visiting agents to convince them to work with you is actually very difficult for someone who has no experience in sales. Ultimately only those with good sales skill will stand any chance, and developing those skill takes a significant amount of practice. It also takes a significant amount of time to build rapport with agents. If you have a family that needs your time on weekends, then this will be extremely difficult. You will nearly certainly have to take days off from work on weekdays occasionally to visit agents and stand a reasonable chance of striking relationships with the directors.

The vast majority of partners have taken many months to acquire their first deal. I would say many after 6 months. I do not want to make claims about the success rate as this may be constantly changing, but I would say the profit claims that you are told before joining the programme are wishful. I don't think anyone has come anywhere close to that.

I will balance this review with the fact there have been people who have been extremely successful on this programme. They have acquired many deals, I don't know of the exact numbers, but enough for them to take on property full time. This has probably only happened to a few out of 100+ that have joined the programme.

In summary, only if you have excellent sales skills and are willing to persist for months potentially without any results, would this programme be a good investment for you. Also, do some research beforehand to see what the HMO market is like in your area.

Again, this review is only to provide an honest take and I hope it helps the right people invest in this strategy, because £20k takes some people 5-10 years to save up. Take your time, do your research and be sure this is for you.

Sequoia academy excelled in teaching me ways to better myself on numerous levels including on a personal developmental level and financial level. The value I have received from Sequoia academy is beyond words and they have been instrumental in helping me pave the way for a better future

I’ve been in this program since last March and alhamdullilah it’s been beneficial for me. I’ve learnt a lot about the industry. The networking you have In the WhatsApp chat really helps, you literally have access to many others who have secured multiple R2R properties, it’s a minefield of knowledge transfer. I’ve seen many individual in the chat go from nothing to managing multiple properties. Tanim is always there to support you, he is very friendly and enthusiastic about it. He always gives us Islamic point of view on finance which is very beneficial for Muslims. It’s worth joining the course IF you are willing put the work in and you will (in sha allah) definitely build an income from it. I would recommend the program to anyone who is willing to put a couple hours in day/every other day to build another stream of income.

Tanim has built a detailed and informative course which draws on his many years of experience in the property sector. The strategy is realistic and enables all demographics to get a foothold in to the lucrative property sector.

For me one of the greatest value adds is the accessibility to Tanim as a source of knowledge, beacon of inspiration and trustworthy mentor. Tanim genuinely strives to help each student gain individual success in their ventures and is always ready to adapt and adjust as the market/circumstances develop.

I would recommend this programme offered by Sequoia Academy.

Within four months of joining, I have benefitted from the strategy and the organic growth mentioned within the programme. The course definitely lived up to my expectations.

Tanim is quick to respond to questions and is genuinely motivated to help you succeed.

We started the R2R programme with Tanim in November 2022 and it has been very interesting. Although we had to manoeuver working within Scotland which has a different context than the rest of UK, Tanim had been great at guiding us so far. We are sure the strategy will work out once we apply ourselves better.

We keep going to Tanim with doubts with each case study and he's very helpful and strategic. Tanim is also quite a warm and honest person and we can say that he's quite trustworthy and values both his and your time.

It's important to be consistent with the programme to achieve results and it's important for people wanting to take this up to know that it's a commitment and time will fly so best be prepared with some extra time. But it's also quite rewarding to actually manage the situation and keep learning and eventually earning.

I would recommend the programme if you have some spare time and a slightly thick skin since the business itself involves speaking to landlords who may or may not be interested to speak to you.

I just joined but based on what I have witnessed, I believe the strategy will work once implemented.

I had my reservations, but Tanim and his rental strategy are the real deal.
