SENTIA Spirits founder Professor David Nutt has been a pioneering force in psychopharmacology for over thirty years. He has published more then 500 original research papers and 34 books on a wealth of topics in psychiatry, from his early work in sleep studies to his more famous interventions in drug policy and the study of addiction.

Senati Spirits Cask.
I visited Senati Spirits and purchased Cask. I was looking for something enjoyable as a special short drink that would also help me relax. Something to enjoy when I might otherwise have had a whisky. It had the calming effect the company claims (that really did work .... and it helped me sleep afterwards). However, I am afraid I found the taste unpleasant. For me, it felt more like something to be taken as a medicinal product than as a drink to enjoy.,

Pleasant drink but that was all.
Delivery was very speedy. I was so looking forward to trying Gaba Gold, go the ice and tonic and relaxed into a comfy chair. I followed instructions with a 25ml measure. It's a pleasant enough drink, but absolutely no other effect at all. I've tried increasing the measure with no effect.
I heard David Nutt talking on a Zoe interview and decided Gaba was the brand try first. I think any effects must be very specific to an individual.
I am unable to drink alcohol now as it makes my asthma worse.
The last time I tried was at Christmas 😔
I was very disappointed and won't be buying more.

We are sorry to hear that SENTIA did not work for you. There could be a number of reasons for this:
Individual variances: Your GABA system is very much your own, and individual chemistry varies from person to person, so the experience of SENTIA will vary too.
Alcohol in system: Regular alcohol drinkers may have a high tolerance to GABA release, which will moderate the SENTIA experience. Studies suggest that you can reset your tolerance to GABA release by refraining from drinking for 2 to 3 weeks.
SSRI’s: (Selective Serotonin Inhibitors) anti-psychotics, tranquillisers and some epileptic medications may inhibit the effects of SENTIA.
Expectations: SENTIA is not designed to get you “drunk”, but offer a more refined experience. All feelings are of course very subjective, and will vary from person to person.
Context: There is a great deal of scientific evidence indicating that drinking (or talking any mind altering substance) alone creates a very different effect from doing so socially. The science suggests the same will be true with SENTIA.

A better alternative to alcohol
I bought the Gaba (yellow) and it is very good as replacement for gin when paired with tonic. You don’t need much of it in a glass. Refreshing to drink when chilled and gives a nice buzz. Looking forward to my next glass.

I love the flavours
I love the flavours. A very palatable pleasure to sip in the evening to replace my usual glass of red wine. Not every evening of course, but at least 5 out of 7.

Gaba black
I like the Gaba black Sentia as an alternative to alcohol, it makes cutting out alcohol a lot easier. It has changed my lifestyle in a good way.

Lovely cider for someone who can’t do alcohol
I haven’t been able to drink alcohol for about 15 years as it makes me ill. I really miss a cider now and again and when I saw the Sentia cider I thought I’d give it a try. Well I had my l first bottle last night and I’m very pleasantly surprised. It tastes lovely and it gave me a warm woozy feeling without feeling drunk or being ill today. Will definitely order more!

Quite a relaxing effect on drinking
Quite a relaxing effect on drinking. The package arrived but late; the post was delayed and the app wasn't working so i didn't know the post was delayed-it looked like it had been delivered to wrong address. So some stress. However the customer service got back to tell me when it was coming. The drink itself did have a mildly relaxing effect. So it all worked out in the end. But one of bottles smashed so i won't use again unless they use differnt post and refund that bottle.

The Sentia Gaba Spirits are exceptional. Since I consume them, I didn't drink any alcohol at all anymore....and I used to have drinks every evening!

I have. tried Sentia Gold and Red and enjoyed both with a slight preference for Gold.

I poured 100ml and added a can of tonic…
I poured 100ml and added a can of tonic - I had that one drink but had quite a bad reaction and slept really badly. I then spotted on the label that the maximum in 24 hours was only 100ml. I wondered why? - it’s less than a 125 ml glass of wine
What are the ingredients and why is less recommended than a small glass of wine.
I also wondered why you recommend it should be kept in the fridge and what ingredient is damaged if that doesn’t happen ??

We are sorry you didn't feel great after having SENTIA, however it was probably just too much all at once.
SENTIA is classed a food supplement and like with all other food supplements, we have to suggest a daily recommended maximum allowance for each ingredient. We believe a customer service representative has been in touch directly.
SENTIA, once opened and being stored outside the fridge, might be prone to fermentation and not tasting so nice.
