I have never been so disappointed with See's Candies as I am today. I ordered almost $100 in chocolate on April 10. I had free shipping but because it is during the hot months I paid over $25 for shipping My credit card was charged April 11. It was to be delivered April 15th. It is now the 17th and no chocolate. To make matters worse I emailed Wednesday and Thursday. I tried calling the customer service phone number and it takes the order number and starts to tell me let me check and then switches to saying I'm sorry we are temporary closed. I have tried calling several times a day to hear the same message. I also tried calling a store in Los Angeles to be told they couldn't help me and just gave me the same customer service number I have been calling. They have truly lost my business. The sad part is I love See's. I'm Very angry, frustrated, disappointed and will continue to let my experience be known.

Store was closed, when hours of operation stated they would be open, reached out to customer service (Charida Customer Specialist)and they offered a $5 coupon which they never sent!
"As a one time courtesy, we'd be glad to send you a $5 e-gift card to replace your coupon. The gift card will be able to used on Sees.com and in stores and has no expiration."
EXPENSIVE CANDY BUT CHARGE FOY
The candies taste fine and make wonderful gifts. I just bought &200 worth of candy and they still nickel and dims you charging for gift bag and bows.

Went to Sees Candy yesterday
Went to Sees Candy yesterday. Counter worker did a terrible job packing my candy and then put it in an oversize box. She refused to cut into pieces 2 of the candies i wanted and just put the whole roll in a bag.
To top it off, the candy was old and stale.
My mother was shocked. I dont know if this was racism or ignorance.

I placed an order for Easter (2026) which was shipped on 3/26/26. The ordered arrived on 4/1/2026 and was completely melted!!!!!! Terrible Terrible Terrible!!!! By the way, it was NOT shipped with any type of ice etc.
I will NEVER place another order with See's Candies again!!!

DO NOT buy into their scam of purchasing 40.00 worth of candy during the months of June through December. You get a sticker on a card each month and then supposedly they email you a gift card for 50.00. After 5 attempts my husband never got his and when I went in to use mine, they said it had already been used!!!! Absolute scam!!! Don’t fall victim like we did. The candy at Chocolate Cottage is better anyway!

Late Shipping
Ordered a Valentine's chocolate box on January 31st, with the website and email confirmation stating delivery would be between Feb 11-13. They sat on the order for over a week and now won't be delivered until the week after Valentine's Day. Awful customer service.
Misleading Advertising
I am a long-time See’s Candies customer and have spent thousands of dollars on their products, often ordering online due to limited East Coast locations. While placing a Valentine’s Day order, the website prominently stated “Order by 2/6 with Standard Shipping.” Relying on that, I spent over 25 minutes on the phone placing a custom order. At the end of the call, customer service could not confirm delivery by Valentine’s Day and stated there was no guarantee. Neither the representative nor escalation could explain or reconcile the website message. As a result, I canceled the order and wasted significant time. This inconsistency between advertised shipping information and customer service guidance is misleading and unacceptable for a Berkshire Hathaway company.

I grew up in California, and always loved See's candies. The customer service was outstanding. It has been about 38 years since I had their candies. I ordered some online. Sadly this experience will probably be the last time I ever order their candy. I was told the order would be picked up on the 2nd for delivery, and it would be delivered by the 6th. The order was not shipped until the 4th. There was no notification of this at all by See's candies. Then they changed the delivery date to the 10th with again no notification. When I reached out through their "chat", and got an agent finally. They basically made excuses, and lied about the delivery dates, and when it was picked up. They continued to dance around the subject instead of just admitting the mistake, and could have resolved it easily. I do not see ever ordering from them again.
UPDATE---- See's Candies saw my review, and reached out to me. I am impressed by their outreach concerning this, ad must say they did an excellent job addressing my concerns. They have restored my faith in their company at this time.

See's candy is the nuts!
I've bought candy and nuts for years from See's and have never been disappointed in any product. In fact, the toffee exceeded my expectations. The quality of all their products is outstanding, the packaging is excellent, and delivery is quick. Great product; great company.
The 2lb box of candy that I ordered…
The 2lb box of candy that I ordered pick a mix did not come as I placed it. When contacting customer service Lizette wanted pictures of the candy that we received. I took this to be a sign she did not believe me. We took the candy to a party as we assumed it was the correct order. I have never been treated with such disbelief as to have to take pictures of food and editable candies. Remember for anyone else you have to take a pic when you get it before you eat anything or you get humiliated.
I would not buy Victoria Toffee Tin
I would not buy Victoria Toffee Tin. Not because it didn't taste good, because it was too thick to break. The included hammer was cute, but useless and added unnecessary weight to packaging. I spent a long time trying to break it. Finally tried banging with kitchen shears handles. Then pointed ends with folded towel on top to avoid bruising hands. That worked, but dislodged most chocolate and nuts leaving a bag full of bits and pieces consumable only with a spoon and suitable for an ice cream topping. Suggest thinner 2 layers of coated toffee without weighty hammer. I have had other See's products which were delicious and a delightful gift to receive.

I RECIEVED A BOX OF CHOCOLATES FOR A PRESENT. THE CANDY WAS OLD AND THEY MUST HAVE WANTED EXTRA WEIGHT, DUE TO THE FACT THAT EACH PIECE SAT IN FIVE WRAPPERS (CUPS) EACH. WOW!
SOME OF THE CHOCOLATE WAS JUST PLAIN DOWN RIGHT DISGUSTING LOOKING. IS SEE'S GOING OUT OF BUSINESS AND TRYING TO GET RID OF OLD PRODUCT?
I'VE BEEN EATING SEE'S CANDY FOR OVER 55 YEARS AND NEVER CAME ACROSS ANYTHING LIKE THIS. MY MOUTH WAS READY FOR THE CHOCOLATE BEFORE EVEN OPENING THE BOX, THEN TO SEE THIS TRAVISTY AND THEN COUNTING ALL OF THE PAPER CUPS PER PEICE OF CANDY, "I WAS DONE!". THE WHOLE BOX WENT STRAIGHT INTO THE GARBAGE!!!!!!
Sees Delivery Isn’t Worth it - Order in Person!
I ordered on 11/28 for a delivery window of 12/18 - 12/22. The package was marked as delivered on 12/19, but never arrived. I reached out to the chat for help, and Yvette was a poor customer service rep. She didn’t even apologize for the mishap nor show any care to remove the bad taste in my mouth. She wouldn’t even offer a replacement until she was told she had to offer one! Honestly, I will never order from Sees again. It’s too expensive to have these kinds of issues with shipping.
Lost in Space-Candy come home!
I ordered a $60 ($60!!!)Christmas tin of chocolates that got lost in transit. I had to track it down to find this out! I called customer service and had to reorder.. Now there are 2 tins being delivered one day after the other! Oh GREAT! “Here you go dear friend, I’m giving you the diabetes starter kit for Christmas!” Not sending See’s Candy ever again 😕

Very disappointed
Very disappointing customer service. Made a big order recently, and noticed an error on the gift message. Called and sent a follow-up email, confirming that the issue would be corrected. After multiple days of waiting for an updated invoice (past the 48-hour window), I called again to ask what was going on.
I talked with a representative and stayed on the phone for more than an hour, confirming multiple times that the message was corrected for all our recipients.
I got an updated list that didn’t show the message. So I asked again, and the representative confirms that it has been updated to how we need it to show.
I guess my fault lies in not pressuring to send me a written final confirmation of that change (even though there are written requests and email logs about it).
Lo and behold, the message was not fixed. In fact, it was somehow even more confusing.
After noticing this, I called to see if this was the case with all our recipients, and in fact, it was. And apparently there’s nothing I or they can do without that final confirmation from their side.
I learned my lesson, but I am so disappointed at the lack of tact and protocol from See’s Candies. It seems like they’re only applied when beneficial to them.
