Frankly 50 samphire seeds is not really enough. The seeds are absolutely tiny, so they are very hard to spread out when sowing.

The quantity is clearly marked on the product so issuing just two stars might be seen as a little harsh. Had you contacted us directly to voice your concern, our customer service level is such, we would probably have sent you another pack as a small gesture of goodwill.
We tend to scatter sow them in a tray and then transplant into bigger pots when large enough to handle and we have found the potential 50 plants to be sufficient.

Great germination at a great price
This is my first full year growing seeds from this company and I have been delighted with the results. For the first time our garden is full of dahlias grown from seeds, at pennies for the packet these now strong plants are incredible value for money.
I sowed clarkia last autumn and now have one plant that is taller than me and covered in flowers; sowed more a few weeks ago and those young plants are growing nicely so hoping to keep the flowers coming.
My mesembryanthemums germinated but then gave up, putting that down to my error and will try again next year.
The only failure has been spring onions, perhaps I sowed these too early, none germinated but have had disappointment with similar seeds from other companies, having paid significantly more.
It is lovely to be able to try new plants for such modest prices. Sowing guides on the website are useful and I have recommended Seeds to Suit many times.

Ordered three lots of reasonably priced flower seeds. Much cheaper than elsewhere. Arrived quickly. Haven't planted them yet so cannot comment on quality.

Germination rate very poor compared to other suppliers.
Yes, the seeds are very cheap but if they don't grow they aren't worth anything!
I was taken in by the cheap price, and mostly good reviews which I now note were mostly made by purchasers we ho hadn't sown them!

As previously requested could you give us a little more information. Such as your order number and the items that you had difficulty germinating? We cannot trace anything to After Mint...
As it stands at the moment we cannot relate this review to an order to investigate further.
As an aside, we source all our seeds from the same reputable suppliers that the big boys use, so unless you are seeing the same germination rates from the likes of Premier Seeds etc, then there is no reason why you would see them from us.
We do not sell "cheap" seeds "cheaply, we sell "quality" seeds at an "excellent" price. We can do this because we sell in smaller quantities. We also sow what we sell and our germination tests have been well into the 90 percentile.
We will be happy to look into this further should you be able to come up with an order number.
