Went in to their store in Ballymount. Was told to set up an account to order something for collection. Next day my email is getting marketing spam.

When I made the order I was told it would take up to 4 working days for collection. No sign of order after 4 days so I rang them to find out what was going on. Got the usual 2 minutes of automated voice telling me there is high calls and do I want to do surveys. I eventually get connected to an agent was put on hold for over 15 minutes. I was told that the item was stuck in transit.

What a complete waste of money and time. I have since ordered items on amazon and got them cheaper and delivered the next day.

Update - I cancelled the order two weeks ago and asked for a refund. I got no notification so I rang their customer support again today. I was told that they had re-ordered the item (which I never asked for) and never issued a refund. I have to now wait up to another week before I get my money back.

Web site is not bad, the app does what it should for 90% of the process, and then the trouble starts, trying to pay using Google wallet doesn't work, it hasn't worked now for over 3 MONTHS, the tech support are a complete waste of space, and the local branch staff have given up reporting it doesn't work. Unfortunately, it looks like screwfix don't monitor feedback here either, so reporting it here might be a waste of time as well. Pity,as a little bit of attention to detail could make a big difference.

A big thanks to Laura and Mark today has a slight problem and was sorted out hassle free .I was unable to find an item on the shop computer and Laura was able to find it for me 😁 lovely helpful staff

Today I had an encounter in their sligo store with extremely rude and dismissive staff that practically refused to sell to me due to my account name being wrong which has nothing to do with him, other than that he was just an extremely unpleasant person to deal with

Needed a new hose for my 3 year old high pressure Titan washer (Bought here from Screwfix Ireland). They only sell hoses for newer models. Same with Screwfix UK. Very poor support for accessories. Then on Kingfisher Spare Parts website - they have it - but only delivery within the UK. Buy Karcher next time!

I ordered 4 items for delivery
They put two of them for delivery
They put two for click and collect
The avant- cannot rectify the problem
Parts missing off other item I purchased and they could not send out part

I will never use these again absolute joke to deal with and after sales an absolute joke

Waiting two weeks for a delivery of an item no bigger than a tin of biscuits but DPD say it's an oversized parcel ,the branch of Screwfix half a mile away have one in stock but they won't authorise that I can pick that one up ,two plumbers cancelled ,sham of a comany

I have no issue with the staff at my local Sandyford store, they're great. My issue is with UK head office warranty policy. I bought a tap which developed a drip withing four months. They agreed to replace it under warranty but wouldn't cover any of the labour costs to re-install it. And they said they wouldn't release the replacement one until I produced the old tap. So I'm supposed to get a plumber in to take it out and ask him to hang around over half an hour while I get the new tap??? It will be my last resort in future instead of my first choice.

Very friendly and helpful staff at Watford branch. Replaced a faulty item without quibbling.

I went into the store in Sandyford yesterday. This young man asked Maria to help me and she went above and beyond to help me. Although she couldn’t find what I was looking for, she helped me find it in another store and she was a life saver. Buladh bos

Ordered a hot water cylinder thermostat for delivery next day on a Thursday it did not arrive.

On the tracking patcelforce page stated had been dispatched on Friday morning at 05.00 am.
Contacted Screwfix who said it would be with me by Sunday (didn’t hold my breath as parcelforce do not work weekends)
Screwfix refunded my delivery charge.
On Monday morning, emailed Screwfix again ( no movement on parcelforce website) & requested a refund.
Low and behold had a text from Royal Mail and it was delivered around 11. am only 3 days late. Received a message from screwfix stating delivery made and an invoice no apology.
Would recommend that NO ONE uses them for delivery I certainly will not.

Avoid. Not one of the stores is properly stocked. I went to 5 stores in 2 days to get what I need because it took a week the month before to have other items delivered. The electrician wrote down what I needed and still the very nice but absolutely clueless young staff member gave me mostly wrong items. I went back up and one manager said he couldn’t refund or exchange the items because they’d ben taken out of the box. Now I was 200euro out of pocket. I went back to the store the next day because STILL an item was wrong. I told the girl what had happened. Turns out she’s a manager too and said they absolutely could refund it. So guess where I was the next day ? Yep, back up to Screwfix with the unused items to get a refund and one chrome light switch. Light switch not in stock. Shocker. So she ordered it from finglas it’s still not ready to be collected and my electrician is coming back tomorrow. Never again.

Marlow Screwfix. Charged me for something I hadn't bought. 20 minutes of my live I won't get back trying to get refund.

Purchased goods in Sligo store and 2 payments taken from my account, I asked assistant about this at the time of transaction ,he told me money would be back in my account in 2 or 3 days. 2nd phone call today to retrieve my money. Be careful dealing with this company, for me this was theft of my money, same as if I walked out of their store with their goods without paying.

Worst service ever, I ordered something they said a couple of days , I am waiting ages, terrible service for online orders

Free delivery over €50 But they barely delivery anything you actually want to order. Instead, almost everything is click and collect. It's a scam.
Such a shame, their competitors are way way ahead in this regard.

Says delivery in 2/3 days ordered Sunday morning so starting from Monday I’d expect it by Wednesday but no customer service thinks for some reason Monday is not included in the 2/3 days and now won’t get the stuff til Thursday false advertising at its best

The Time for collections for online purchases is very poor,im currently sitting outside their shop and each 15 minute delay is eating into my productivity for my day ahead .
Never again will I shop with these guys
