Delay in postage but Therapist delivered items by hand really grateful for that as items were for a birthday present

Bought a voucher online after receiving email regarding the xmas discount offer. I paid my money and then, nothing. Contacted my local saloon and they advised the voucher was to be sent via royal mail. The advert says free instant delivery leaving me to believe the voucher was an e-voucher, rather than wait a week for delivery....

Excellent service. Very welcoming and also get the hour you pay for.

I have had several vouchers for facials, and varied massages and all have been great. The team at Schmoo, Parkrup hotel are friendly and knowledgeable about all their products. Would recommend them to others.

Excellent service and communication

Schmoo sold us a £100 gift card to be used in their Cobham branch. However they closed down shortly after before I could use it. Their next location was Brighton which would mean a trip which I’d rather not do but still had my gift card to use. Unfortunately Covid hit and I couldn’t go. We had deaths and ups and downs and by the time Covid was over and I was ready to visit Brighton ‘Fiona’ (owner) decided to close Brighton as well and move once again, this time even further away and go up north.
My last resolution was to ask for their skin products in return as there wouldn’t be any point to travel the distance. However, Fiona is refusing to honour the gift card (which has no expiry date on) as she claims it has expired. Avoid at all cost this dishonest business who is willing to sell gift cards for a place which she clearly knew was about to close down. Even though the reason I can’t use my card is because of her unstable business, she’s refusing to acknowledge this and is happy to pocket my £100. How can this sit well with any decent person or business? Absolute shame.

The item I wanted most was out of stock, the vitamin rich moisturiser. So I ordered the honey and oatmeal range and it's really nice. The parcel arrived within a few days of ordering. I've been using Schmoo for many years, I really like their products, great value too.

Always love there products

I paid for a friend and I for the 'Sparkle' treatment Nov 22 as a birthday/Xmas treat. Phoned beginning of March to book the treatments for the same month to be told that Schmoo could fit us in August 23. I thought this was a long time but just thought they were a thriving business and very busy. 2 working days before the appointment I received an email advising that treatments were cancelled with no explanation or re-booking. As I had no reply to my email to reschedule I phoned the company to book again only to be told they pulled out of Hilton, Cardiff 1 month before (bearing in mind that I was told last minute my appt was cancelled) but I could drive to Puckrup Hotel, Gloucester and have my treatments there. This was not logistical so I assumed it reasonable to request a refund. After numerous calls and e-mails and providing all the information of my voucher numbers and bank details as requested I have been told Fiona is on holiday.
Fiona isn't in work today.
Or even ' I can assure you you will have your refund amongst other excuses. Their last e-mail was on 25th October. It is now 16th November 23 and I have since sent 2 further emails but no response and still received no refund. I have used this company a few times but they have fallen well short of their high standards. Beware, if they decide to pull out of Puckrup before you have your treatments you may never see your refund.

Avoid like the plague!

On two occasions I visited the Cardiff branch (which has now closed) to find my treatments had been cancelled last minute, despite travelling an hour to the venue.

Was gifted a voucher for the Cardiff branch last December and when I emailed to enquire about availability, I was told the spa had shut! No information on their website at the time or social media, no apology or help to get monies back so I could enjoy another spa day elsewhere, within a reasonable distance of my address.
Was eventually offered a refund however it is now nearly two months later and incomplete.

Company do not know how to operate and the management and customer service extremely poor. I’d recommend looking into other spas and products!

Terrible experience....cancelled appointments without prior notification. Eventually informed that they were unable to honour our booking due to staff problems. Appalling customer service! Fortunately we were refunded by Travel Zoo (from where vouchers were originally purchased). Five stars for travel Zoo, zero for Schmoo in the City!
