Fantastic technology to be aware of
Fantastic technology to be aware of. I am so glad my consultant recommended this. And the radiographer, Abbas, was so knowledgable and helpful with explanations as to how these scans will be helpful.
Thoroughly recommend for deeper understanding of back problems to potentially avoid surgery and align physiotherapy treatment correctly to help each individual situation.

EOS X-Ray
We have had two EOS scans here and both times we have had a fantastic experience. With my daughter’s condition of Scoliosis we are glad to have the option of a lower radiation X-ray. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Very comfortable and super fast
Very comfortable and super fast. The doctor/analyst in charge also took the patience to explain how the system worked, walk me through the process and resolve my concerns and then explain a bit the images he took (with the analysis being done a few days later by the doctor).

EOS scan (GREAT!)
Very quick and simple experiance. Came in they explained the advantages of the EOS scan and after 5 min I was done. Radiologist showed me the images, and explained exactly what I was looking. I have had MRI and x-ray and this procedure was alot more straightforward and easy to do. Would definetly recomend

It was so quick & uncovered things my MRIs didn’t
It was so quick, and easy, and the awesome radiographer explained everything in detail; makes you comfortable and it’s over before you know it. It’s a cross between a CT scan and an Xray- there are only a handful of these scanners in the UK. It showed up things my MRIs did not, so was worth it. Just need to figure out how to fix all the things!

It is really encouraging to hear that the scan felt quick and easy and that our radiographer helped you feel at ease while talking everything through in detail. You described EOS very well, it sits somewhere between an X-ray and a CT in terms of the information it gives, but with a much lower radiation dose, and you are right that there are only a small number of these scanners in the UK. The fact that it picked up things your MRIs did not is exactly why many people find it so useful. As for “fixing all the things,” - and as all our patients experience - the report gives your clinicians a much clearer and targeted roadmap for what to do next.

The EOS scanalign service is fantastic. The scan is fast and efficient with the additional benefit of giving a much lower radiation dose for children who need regular scans. The radiographer is very friendly and welcoming, making it a really stress free experience for kids. The images have really helped in the treatment of our daughter’s scoliosis. All around - a great service!

Knowing that this scan has lower radiation was very beneficial as my daughter needs lots of X-rays before her spinal surgery. Would definitely recommend.

I approached my post spinal surgery scan with some trepidation as have found MRI scans to be painfully confining and tedious. The scan provided at 19 Harley Street was absolutely no hassle, no discomfort, limited undressing, and took minutes.
