I’m giving SBW Law 3/5 stars based on my experience with a data breach case. While initial interactions were positive, I feel I was 'sold a dream.' I was promised significant compensation, but the final pay-out was negligible. This was partly due to an overestimation of the case value and a lack of transparency regarding fees; I was told 25% over the phone, but ended up paying up to 50% due to costs associated with the case duration.
Furthermore, I felt 'strong-armed' during negotiations. When I requested a counter-offer due to the mental health impact of the breach, I was told they would drop me as a client if I didn't settle. Feeling pressured and unable to start over with a new firm, I accepted. I highly recommend doing thorough research to find a firm that truly prioritises your interests. Although I’m not thrilled with the service provided, they did secure a win and compensation for me in the end.

I saw there advertisement on there among others tried this one an 2 others the other to couldnt help but this amazing company has and managed to help get most of the money i got scammed back but from my bank instead they truly have been an amazing company and i highly recomend them to anyone i really do

I never write any reviews but I need to make an exception. My experience with SBW Law in my case of data breach was amazing. I was kept informed throughout, superb communication, regular updates. I would have no hesitation to highly recommend SBW Law. We had a first class, professional experience. My son and his housemates had issues with the landlord of their university rental house. Their deposit was not protected correctly and he also refused to return their deposit for no reason at all. Andrew James-Wyllie took on our case and successfully gained full return of the deposit plus 1x compensation.
