I purchased knives and a scabbard. I requested an immediate refund the following day after realising that it was fraudulent advertising through FlightRadar21. This company is registered in Hong Kong with SaversGround (Elise) as its front in Australia. I did have a response after I tried to cancel the sale however I was advised that they knives were already on their way. I could not get a response from my refund request.
Warren Kirby Watches. This appears to be a complete SCAM. I bought two and they were delivered quickly but were not exactly as described in the "tall story" about Warren Kirby (who I now don't believe exists). They do actually work (so far), but are probably some cheap made in China knock-offs.
Fell for their add for a Warren Kirby timber watch out of Tasmania Australia. Appears to be a total SCAM and resonates with similar stories below about advertised knives!
UPDATE - A watch arrived !!!! Not what was advertised (no brand logo, no glass crown, looks like a cheap imitation timber band). I have been told that the add is all AI generated. I will try to return the watch for a refund.
Bought a knife from savers ground. Advertised as Damascus steel and from a blade smith that was retiring and selling all his knives. I will make sure I read the fine print next time. It is a scam. The Damascus steel was poor quality. In the Rockwell scale I would expect a blade like this to be above 61. This type of knife they sell belongs in the weekend market stall and I probably would stretch it to 30-35 dollars maximum for a purchase price. I’m guessing they were made in China. There are no manufacturers identifying markings. Word of advice to anyone reading this. DONT BOTHER BUYING FROM SAVERSGROUND.
C'est un site d'arnaques à éviter absolument. Une honte qu'ils puissent continuer à exister.
Scammers writing editorials about old Tasmanian fisherman selling their last of the crafts and how yoy can purchase one of their knives or huon pine watches
⚠️ WARNING – Do not buy from this site.
Saversground.com is a scam operation. They use a completely fabricated story about a retiring French blacksmith named “Jacques Durand” to emotionally manipulate buyers into purchasing supposed hand-forged Damascus knives. In reality, the company is registered in Hong Kong (The Crimson Leviathan Limited) and has no connection to any French craftsman.
Multiple victims have reported receiving cheap, low-quality products worth a fraction of what they paid — and others received nothing at all. When buyers try to return items or get refunds, they are ignored.
The glowing reviews on their site are fake, and the product photos appear to be AI-generated. This is a classic dropshipping scam using emotional storytelling to bypass your better judgment.

Placed an order for a Damascus knife based on misrepresented false advert on 5 April. Checkout process forced purchase of second knife. Cancelled order immediately. Payments taken. No contact possible with company. Items delivered without any paperwork. Returned items tracked to UK address from which they were sent. Payment dispute raised.
Scam group operating out of Hong Kong. Fake web pages with false information about hand-made knives from Tasmania. I have reported them to my Bank as transactions in dispute.
Scam. So called Damascus steel knife from Healesville turned out to be a cheap import from China with an etched-on pattern to resemble Damascus steel. Site is just a front for a HK trader who arranges imports from China. Impossible to contact anyone. They don't reply.
Damascus steel? Nah its either acid or laser etched. No typucal damascus pattern on spine or tang. Its a cheap crappy knife with a pretty pattern on it. I tried to return, they insisted i pay return freight to china. I questioned this as it was their false advertising, no response.
Crap company, run, dont walk
Total Scam, this Knifemaker does not exist. Purchased 1 knife, rubbish, etched on pattern, and "not sharp"
Total con. I fell for the sob story of the handmade knife maker who had to retire due to ill health. Bought two Damascus chefs knives for over £150. Checked the signature Damascus etchings on the side of both blades, and they are identical, meaning the pattern has been manually APPLIED. Should have checked what Cub01 meant on the evri communication. It stands for Chinese Unknown Business.
No markings on knife to indicate steel type or the so called knifesmith maker. Knife doesnt even pass the simple paper cut test. Don't waste your money. Hopefully it's the end of the journey for them ffs!
Had my card blocked when trying to make a purchase. Seems to be a scam
Fake knife reportedly from Healesville Victoria Australia. Then another ad from Strahan Tasmania same product. Knife is rubbish, billed from Hong Kong. Scam artists who do not respond to email. Visa fraud claim raised. Do not buy anything from these scammers
The advert does not fit the product.
Sold as one of 300 hand made knives, but they delivered mass produced poor quality knives from China.
Then wont give an address to return for refund.
Save your time and don't buy anything from this site.
