I have used sane box for over 10 years and it is a lifesaver and a time saver. There is always a bit of navigating to do, but the blackhole feature is incredibly helpful, and once I accidentally deleted or sent to black hole some items I needed to recover and that worked too!
I highly recommend this service!
The time I save every month is worth the cost of admission many times over.

Sanebox acts like a virus. Once you install it, which they make very easy, it becomes almost impossible to remove from your computer. They use every method possible to block you from removing the software. I would run in the other direction. Do Not fall for their inducements, this is my recommendation.

4/16/2026: Update, I had to go to AI to find out how to remove this from my computer. It had latched onto my email system and closing your account as they suggest, WILL NOT REMOVE THERE CONTROL OF YOUR EMAIL BOX. BE LEARY OF SIGNING UP!!!

One of the best tools out there. I receive a large amount of work emails, so it’s been great having everything steam lined. Love sanelater feature as well. Get it. You won’t regret it.

Tony did not bother turning up to our scheduled call. Very disrespectful and when I called him out on it he lies through his teeth about "Internet issues". The oldest trick in the book. Sorry Tony, doesn't wash. Respect people's time. I'm cancelling.

I evaluated SaneBox to help me control the deluge of spam sent from random addresses, but all having "tells" in the subject line. SaneBox tended to focus on the sender address, thus wasn't quite the right solution. HOWEVER when I contacted them to terminate, the interaction with customer service was AMAZING. I wish I needed this product, because I have honestly never been treated so well.

SaneBox has been a tremendous timesaver I never expected. Their customer service department is impeccable. It's wonderful to be treated like my business, concerns, and issues matter. I would recommend SaneBox to anyone.

I love the Inbox Zero Academy because it is easy to follow in small incremental steps. It features practical and no-fluff advice that is actionable the moment a new lesson is released.

I've used this service for years. It is an easy to use system for automatically sorting email into helpful categories. Leaving your inbox manageable and organized and not overwhelming. Allows for email to not be a dreaded task!

SaneBox has been a quiet lifesaver. It sorts the noise, surfaces what actually matters, and gives me back time I didn’t realise my inbox was stealing. Less clutter, fewer distractions, and a noticeably calmer day. It really does keep me saner, literally.

My favorite thing about SaneBox is being able to BCC a specific date when I send an email asking someone to do something. When that date comes around, I get a handy reminder - no more remembering or separately tracking what other people are supposed to be doing. They also provided a fantastic orientation that answered all of my questions.

Sanebox helps solve everyone's problem with inboxes. Sorting the wheat from the chaff is an unending battle and Sanebox really helps. I use Gmail and it adds two major new categories: SaneLater and SaneNews. Those things less important go to SaneNews and general blast emails to SaneNews. I also love the SaneBlackHole categories. I can just slide an email into that category and SaneBox will send future emails from that address to the Black Hole. It works seamlessly in the background. You can also train emails easily. For example, an email going to SaneNews which is actually important can be slid to Inbox and future ones will go there. On the downside, the account website with all the options is very confusing although it lets you finetune these trainings. They could make that more clear.

After retiring from federal service, I was hit with a tsunami of junk mail in my Inbox. I realized that the government had been protecting me from this, using elaborate filters. I had written my own filters, also, but I didn't want to spend my time writing a ton of filers, a never-ending process. I struggled for months before finding SaneBox, and the day after I implemented it, it was like heaven. There was still a lot of wreckage on the beach from the former tsunami, but once I cleaned that up, I was home free. The Sanebox "Inbox Zero Academy", an on-line course which they provide free, helped me over the learning hump. My only complaint about
Sanebox is that when you log into the "dashboard" of your account, there are so many options that I felt overwhelmed. It should be more layered, with an "advanced" button for those who want to torture themselves with details. Fortunately, I don't have to look at the dashboard very often. Everything just works 99% of the time.

I started using SaneBox almost 2 years ago. And the name is perfect, it has saved my sanity time and time again. It is so easy to miss an important email when so much junk comes into your inbox. The "blackhole"feature is wonderful. Plus the ability to easily create my own boxes for sorting is epic. I cannot live without this service.
