I traveled all the way from Guyana 🇬🇾 to Turkey for my gastric sleeve. The service has been exceptional. I'm almost one month post-op and my surgery has been successful. I have no complaints. Dr. Samet has been really amazing and visited me every day after surgery when I was in the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Samet & his entire team.

Very professional from start to finish, never a moment where I didn't know what was going on, I went on my own which some may find scary but in all honesty felt very well looked after and didn't have to second guess anything. Found out I had a hernia which was dealt with during the surgery so please bare this in mind as cost me an additional amount but feel a lot better for having it removed. Have recommended to family member and got my girlfriend going in October along with her sister.

Came all the way from Australia, was anxious and worried as I was alone and it was my 1st surgery. Everything went perfect. Amazing stuff, excellent facilities. Everyone one is kind and nice. Dr Samet, his assistance, doctors and translators all were very professional and kind. Also the nurses are patient and nice. Will definitely recommend.

I had my surgery 3 days ago with Dr Prof Samet Yardmicii and his team. They are absolutely Brilliant, from the time we walked into the hospital till we walked out. Our every need was attended to, we were made to feel real special. The hospital is so beautiful and staff is so helpful it does not feel like a hospital but more like a hotel. Mevce and all supportive staff you guys are simply amazing 😻

I had my gastric sleeve surgery with Dr Samet Yardimci and his team at Medikal Park Pendik. The experience from arriving at the hospital, the proffessional care provided during my stay and the support at each step, was just incredible and i would recommend anyone to have their procedure done here at this very beautiful and well equipped establishment. Due to the team being so capable and caring, I had a great experience and I felt safe and confident all the way through. A special thanks to the experts Prof Samet Yardimci, Dr Yahya Özel and Dr Burak Kara. Also special thanks to the support team Mevce, Ege and Öghuzan who ensured smooth communication, translation and all needs are met during my stay. Also thanks to Didi from Mayra Health Agency.

Professor Samet Yardimici and his team are brilliant! I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are all very professional. They made sure all my needs were met and put me at ease with how friendly and kind they all were. I would recommend the hospital VM Medical Park Pendik, this doctor and his team a million times over and I thank them dearly for changing my life for the better.

My experience was really good from the 1st interaction to my last. Didi, the Co-ordinater assisted me thoroughly whilst I was in South Africa and together with feedback from other South Africans who had the surgery before, this gave me the confidence to book. Didi arranged payment, invoicing and transfers and gave great advice as to the flights,forex and general info. My procedure was explained in detail and as a Breast Cancer survivor, I was required to submit additional info before I was approved. I also had my hiatus hernia repaired at the same time.
The pre ops were thorough: Meeting with the Dr's, Dietician, Psychologist,
Anesthetist as well as bloodwork,
cardiology, xrays, an endoscopy,ultrasound and in my case an additional mammo was done before I got the green light. This all took place the day before the actual op.

The 2 English interpreters Oguzhan (male) and Ege ( female) where phenomenal, they explained every conversation carefully so that we were clear as to what was happening. They were friendly and spoke the English language well. Dr Samet instilled confidence from the moment I meet with him, he was professional and of course I studied his impressive bio beforehand. Dr Boerat was calming and professional and had a fantastic bedside manner which put you at ease. In hospital Mevche, our patient liasion took such great care of us. She was thoughtful, sincere and very nurturing and answered our relentless questions with patience.
Google translate came in handy with the nurses, averting any language barriers and the hospital was modern, clean and luxurious. We were monitored and medicated and when deemed fit, we were discharged and transfered to an hotel a day before our trip home. I would definitely recommend the Mayra Team. They are passionate about what they do. They are patient centric and have a wealth of expertise in this field. We left with a goody bag of shakes, a shaker, vitamins, an eating plan, and various medications needed for the 1st month. We were well looked after, the surgery was executed by a talented team of Dr' s and the interpreters and patient liason on the ground, Mevce, offered the human touch. Thank you Mayra, I cannot wait to tell my fellow South Africans about this experience. I wish you well and may you continue to touch many more lives.

Had my surgery on Monday my professor semat yardimici and I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough. So professional. Made sure all my needs were met and so friendly and kind at the same time. Doctor Samet and his team at Medical Park Hospital in Istanbul Turkey where so welcoming and professional. I had gastric sleeve surgery on 14/03/2024. Before the surgery you have to have lots of tests and during those tests I was informed that I had an under active thyroid and also my Gaul bladder wasn't working and had Gaul stones. My surgery was delayed so my thyroid could be treated and I was advised to get my Gaul bladder removed. Everything was so thorough! I've been asking my doctor in England to check my thyroid for many years but they wouldn't! I had an interpreter available to me 24/7 but doctor Samet speaks very good English anyway. He makes sure that you know what is happening and keeps your mind at rest. I really do recommend using Doctor Samet and his team at Medical Park if you're thinking of having surgery. It's much cheaper than the UK and you can bring a companion for support. Thanks again Doctor Samet and see you in a couple of years to have my excess skin removed from loosing so much weight. 😁

I went to Medical Park to have my surgery. I had the privilege of being accompanied by Dr. Samet Yardimci and his magnificent team. It was the best choice I could have made, because he is simply the best in the world. I recommend Dr. Samet's team without a doubt. Thank you all the doctors,nurses, and staff.

Where to start about Dr Samet yardimci and his team, they were without a doubt the most professional, friendly, informative and caring people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. My experience with them was excellent from start to finish, I was very well looked after not only by them but the lovely nursing staff that was caring for me around the clock.

The pre op tests they do before surgery were extremely thorough and I felt totally at ease and confident I was in safe hands. The hospital was like a 5* hotel I actually didn’t want to leave to go and stay in the hotel! All in all it was a 10/10 and I can’t recommend Samet and his team enough.

Although the actual experience of having a Gastric Sleeve isnt necessarily the best the attention I had from Dr Samet and his team was excellent.
The day of the operation all the test I had were incredibly thorough to make sure I was healthy enough to go ahead.
Aftercare was also to a high standard.
