Sambanis.Art - Custom oil portrait from photo Anmeldelser

Alex's portrait of my father is everything we dreamed it would be, and more. Alex was a delight to work with; he was very responsive to constructive feedback and extremely communicative from start to finish. Thank you so much, Alex, we cannot WAIT to present it to my father for his birthday!

Fantastic craftsmanship. Beautiful rendition. Thrilled with the portrait. Couldn't recommend more highly! Alex is an excellent communicator and genuinely desires his clients to be involved in the process not just deliver a product. That level of warmth and sincerity really set the whole experience on another level. I am so grateful!!

I commissioned a painting from a photograph, and the result was simply wonderful. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations: the details, the colors, and the final finish reflect a high level of professionalism. I want to especially highlight the fantastic service from Alex, who assisted me from the first contact until I received the painting. He was always attentive, kind, and willing to answer any questions throughout the entire process. One important point to consider is the time and costs associated with customs. In my case, the painting was held for 14 days, something worth anticipating to avoid surprises. Overall, an excellent and highly recommended experience.

I had a custom painting done and could not be happier with the result! Alex did a fantastic job working from a few photographs to create a custom image that truly captured the moment. They did a great job incorporating feedback and making adjustments throughout the process. Definitely recommend!

Had a personal painting commissioned and could not be happier with the process and results. They created a unique image based on multiple pictures and made the process easy and free of stress. They are also very quick to get back to requests and feedback and I would highly recommend them.

I approached Alex a few months ago to do a portrait for my mother in laws 60th birthday. I reached out to a few artists, but what stood out about Alex was his detailed customer service, experience and drive to complete the project. He continued to give extremely detailed updates on the painting and on the postage. Could not recommend enough.

Great company to work with!
Alex is an amazing artist and great at communication. He took us along the whole journey as the work was being created and shipped.

Alex was wonderful to work with and the painting was absolutely stunning and perfect. I sent him a picture and he recreated it beautifully. Alex was extremely responsive, and incredibly professional. I could not recommend him more, I would give him 10 stars if I could!

Great communication with Alex, service and delivery 5*. Alex and the team are very talented and I am completely over the moon with my painting I love and can’t recommend them enough

Sambanis Art…. AMAZING! I cannot express how Alex captured exactly what I wanted and made it come to life. I will be getting married this year, 2025, and my father unfortunately is no longer with us. The painting is of my father standing next to me in my wedding dress. I absolutely love it. I will PROUDLY be displaying this as the main art at the reception. Thank you, Alex, I love your work and will be spreading your name to everyone I know.

I recently commissioned a photo reproduction painting from Alex of SambiansArt Shop, and I couldn’t be more pleased with both the artwork and the overall experience. The painting itself is breathtaking—every detail from the original photograph was captured with incredible precision and warmth. Alex didn’t just replicate the image; he elevated it. The texture, the lighting, and the emotion all came through beautifully on canvas.

What truly set this experience apart, though, was the outstanding customer service. From the very first inquiry, Alex was responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure the final product was exactly what I envisioned. He provided regular updates throughout the process, consulted me on key details, and even offered framing suggestions that perfectly complemented the piece.

The painting arrived well-packaged and ahead of schedule. It now hangs in my home as a treasured centerpiece, and I’ll definitely return for future commissions.

Thank you again, Alex!

Sincerely, Kelly Corbo

I asked the Sambanis team to create a custom portrait blending together inspiration from a few different reference photos, and with a very particular painting style. I found them on Etsy and wasn't totally sure at first if they were legit.

Yesterday my painting came in the mail from Ukraine, carefully packaged. The painting itself is gorgeous, with some really expert painterly touches, and exceeded my high expectations. There was a lot of back-and-forth with the team to execute this, and their efforts really shone through. Their service is absolutely worth the cost, and the wait.

I've had the pleasure of working with Alex and his team multiple times, and their talent and passion for each project are impressive. As a perfectionist, I'm pleased to say that they consistently deliver exceptional results, always striving to exceed expectations. My most recent portrait is a prime example, and I'm thoroughly satisfied with the outcome. Thank you, Alex.

The painting of my late mother-in-law is absolutely stunning — a beautiful blend of realism and color that perfectly captures her warmth and spirit. The artist’s attention to detail brought her to life in a way that’s both emotional and deeply meaningful for our family. Communication throughout was exceptional, with thoughtful updates at every step. A truly professional and heartfelt experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

The painting was the same as the reference photo. Great attention to detail and communication.

This is the second time we ordered a custom oil painting from Alex. Both turned out gorgeous and are perfect for our home! We highly recommend Sambanis Art.

This is the second time i have used Alex for a gift for a good friend. It turned our perfect both times and would recommend him anytime for a custom painting!

I looked at many oil painting artists and chose Sambaing.Art as I liked the stroke style and guarantee that it would be hand painted. I commissioned a portrait of my late father in law as a gift for my husband and he loves it. It is now hung in the house and the kids will always remember him. The process went seamless from start to finish. I would commission again.

I recently commissioned an oil painting from Sambanis art to give as a gift, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. The seller took great care in ensuring the color, composition, and style matched exactly what we had discussed. The attention to detail was remarkable, and it turned out even better than I had hoped!

I had a couple of minor adjustments to request during the process—the shadows around the eyes needed to be reduced, and Alex made the change perfectly, and it was just what was needed.

What really stood out to me was how easy and pleasant the entire process was. The seller was incredibly receptive, quick to respond, and offered helpful suggestions along the way. They also sent progress pictures so I could track how the painting was coming together and even showed me how the final piece would look with various frames.

Delivery was fast, and the painting arrived securely packaged—overseas shipping was no issue, and the artwork came in perfect condition.

I couldn’t be happier with this experience and the painting itself. I highly recommend this seller to anyone looking for high-quality, custom artwork and I will definitely be making more requests to them for myself or to give as gifts!
