Honestly, I’m beyond frustrated with this experience.
I returned an unused item over a month ago, and since then it’s been nothing but horrendous customer service. Endless back-and-forth emails, replies taking a full week each time, and still no proper update — yet I’m somehow still being asked to pay. Completely unacceptable.
And regarding the product itself — everything looks amazing on Instagram, but in reality the deodorant doesn’t last more than two hours, and the smell ends up being stronger than with cheaper brands.
Very disappointing experience overall — poor service, poor communication, and a product that doesn’t live up to the hype. I expected much better.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I had accidentally made an order and immediately after contacted customer service for support. They reached out one day later saying its too late and they can't do anything. I then saw it was being shipped to the wrong address and they told me to figure it out myself by calling the carrier. What is the point of having a customer service when it makes the customer do all the work and be stressed out. I did like using one of their mists but after this experience I dont think Ill be using their website to order anything OR use any of their products moving forward. This is all such a headache. And most likely Ill have to drive to the address it was incorrectly shipped to.

Re the deodorant: Do not buy. I have had to have clothing washed and dry cleaned multiple times to remove the odor left by the deodorant.
Be careful — it can damage both light and dark clothing in a short time.

I absolutely love this deodorant. It smells wonderful and lasts almost 24 hours with no aluminum in the ingredients!!!
It has probiotics that work with your own skin chemistry. I will never buy another brand as long as I can purchase this!

DO NOT BUY... Doesn't last and terrible customer service from refunds and exchanges. Bought the deodorant and you should carry it with you all the time because it does not last for more than a few hours. I was willing to look past it becuase it's "natural" right... I then ordered the mist discovery set but didn't care for it and didn't use it so I've attempted to contact them 3 times via email because there is no phone number... what company doesn't have a customer service phone number?? 2 weeks since receipt of the order, 3 attempts to contact them with zero responses.

Ordered the body mist as a gift. However it didn’t arrive in time and I would like to return the item. There is. I informed in the website re returns so e-mailed them twice and have not had a reply.
This is totally unacceptable as by law you have 14 days to return.
Website issues cost me extra $
I did not receive a discount that was applicable. It took a handful of emails out to customer service before I received a response. During the following numerous emails S&S showed ZERO desire to offer a solution nor did they show any evidence that there was a concern to address the issue or the dissatisfaction of a new customer.... seems myopic. Even worse they acknowledge the problem was a result of their website.

Rubbish
Rubbish! Don’t waste ur money like I did. The scent last a few minutes and it’s gone, scents are rubbish too . Cheap product, with social media hyping it up. Wish I could get my money back 😢
Overpriced and not very effective
Although Salt & Stone deodorants get a lot of hype on social media, I wasn’t particularly impressed with the product. First, I found it quite overpriced, especially since it seems to run out fairly quickly. Second, it left a noticeable white residue on my clothes after application. Lastly, I didn’t find it very effective at preventing odour, and it also had an oily texture that I didn’t enjoy.
Great customer service!
I ordered the discovery bundle of body mists and I received the order within four days. When I opened the package, one of the vials was only half full. I contacted Salt and Stone via their web page to advise of the issue. I received a response within two days, and within 48 hours they had shipped a new discovery bundle, free of charge. That is amazing customer service! Oh…and I love the body mists. I will definitely order more in the future.

Salt and Stone is a scam. I tried to cancel my order immediately after placing. They refused to cancel it on my credit card then and scammed me into promising a direct refund to me. Super sweet emails of reassurance. Naively, I accepted. And then they never replied again. They kept my $60 and went dark.

After contacting the company six times, I finally received helpful support. Following that, the items were delivered promptly and I was also offered a full refund.
I’m not sure whether this was due to the PayPal Resolution Centre or the company itself, but the issue was eventually resolved.
The reason I am still rating the company three stars is that my friend’s birthday was yesterday, and I had to purchase an alternative gift. Additionally, the entire experience was unnecessarily stressful.
That said, I do appreciate the resolution in the end. I hope the customer service at Salt & Stone improves so they can receive more positive reviews in the future.

I placed my order eight days ago, and it has still not shipped. Despite contacting the company more than five times through their only available customer service channel—the “info” email address—I have received no meaningful support or resolution.
The responses I received were generic statements about their shipping policy. I was told they had contacted their fulfilment centre, yet no one has reached out to me directly, and there has been no update on my order. There appears to be no accountability and no real customer support structure in place.
Having £124 tied up with no shipment, no clear communication, and no timeline is unacceptable. A company that cannot provide basic customer service cannot be considered trustworthy.
I strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from this business. I am now prepared to escalate this matter to the appropriate consumer protection authorities if it is not resolved promptly.
Treated myself to the complete line
Treated myself to the deodorant, body cream, body wash, body spray in December 2025. Here it is February 12, 2026 and all have NO SCENT what so ever. They all had a pleasant soft cedar flower like scent when I first received. I wasted well over $150. The positive reviews must be paid customer service reps who answered emails about concerns. I am going back to Clinique Airomatics! And the wasted so call scent was Saffron & Cedar.

Ordered a body wash a week ago. Haven’t had any notification or update whatsoever of when I can expect my product. Sent an email asking for an update and heard nothing in response. Rubbish! Won’t be buying from this company again.
UPDATE… since writing and posting this, I had a response in seconds. They have replied saying it looks like order was lost in transit and they will be sending out a replacement. I shall update as/when/if/ I receive my product …

I'm mindblown by the other reviews. The Santal body wash and deodorant are the only scent I use and it mixes well with my body chemistry. I live in Florida and need a deodorant that works and this does the job. I've been using it for like 3 years now.

Body mist spray has poor longevity no one notices it at all, I’ve started using it as a car refresher when someone jumps in instead! That’s about all it’s good for.
