I wish I could give zero stars. So, I’ve had five deliveries by them now. Every single one has been an absolute disaster. Every single one of my deliveries requires that ‘they call me to set up a scheduled time to deliver ‘ because they are heavy and on pallets. Guess what? They just randomly show up and drop a heavy pallet with tile in the middle of my driveway, in the snow, and I have no idea the delivery is coming. No phone call, no email, no text, no pre-scheduled delivery that they are supposed to do. this has happened with three of my deliveries from them where they show up unannounced and don’t even try or attempt to schedule the delivery with me that they are supposed to do. I can’t move a pallet from the middle of my driveway. That’s 800 pounds. Two of my deliveries took multiple weeks because I called them ahead of time and pre-rescheduled a delivery drop off. Guess what happened there? They didn’t show up for their scheduled date and time. No call no show. Then the next day rules around, I call to follow up and make a scheduled delivery again. That next scheduled delivery was another no call no-show. Honestly, no one should be doing business with this company.

Terrible, terrible customer service. This company cannot operate a pallet jack.

Showed up in the 5 hour window driving and 18 wheel semi truck, but driver could not unload kitchen cabinets because the pallet jack and 8’ long pallet would not fit on the lowering lift. Driver would not unload individually because he said he had to get to another Business for a pick up and they would reschedule tomorrow. The office said they would be there at 9 o’clock in the morning and it’s now 5 o’clock in the evening, and I haven’t heard a word from him since his company. I highly recommend not to use and if you’re a customer request a different delivery company because they have no basic logic in the office of what’s going on out in the field.

Wreckless driver almost ran us off the road trying to get into the right lane from the left lane. Driver honked aggressively and proceeded to force us onto the shoulder instead of accelerating to safely pass us or wait until we passed and there was room to make the lane switch.

I used their online freight calculator and when the bill arrived it was more than double almost triple. I filed a dispute but they declined to adjust it. They charged an extra $77 for it taking more than 30 min for us to sign the BOL. It took longer, because some of the materials were damaged and it takes time to check this out.
I would not recommend that shippers use online freight calculators, this is the 2nd time I have been burned by using one.

They showed up a day late for the pickup and delivered 2 days late. Then try to up the charges.

I was receiving an LTL through Saia and they called and scheduled the appointment for the day it was supposed to arrive. Long story short they actually send it to the wrong state (they said is was their fault). A day later they scheduled another delivery appointment with me. It didnt show. I called to find out what happened and everyone all of a sudden didnt know what to do so after i asked t speak to a supervisor I got a lady named Tammy (denver location) and she was extremely rude, didnt say sorry or anything just kept saying she can cancel the shipment and send it back since its giving me so many problems. Obviously I wouldnt want it to be sent back but anyway lets see if it comes for the third appointment.

We ordered an 18' x 52" above ground pool from Lowe's, which was shipped from Las Vegas, Nevada, to our home in Northeast North Carolina, with several stops along the way. After reading reviews, we were a bit concerned, but our worries were clearly unnecessary. The pool arrived two days earlier than originally expected, and the packaging appeared to be in perfect condition! We haven't opened it yet, but it seems to have been a flawless delivery. The box was neatly secured to a pallet, and my husband met the driver out front with our tractor to move the box into our garage. Many thanks to SAIA Motor Freight and their professional driver for an excellent delivery experience!

Saia Freight driver called my office 5 minutes out to say he had a delivery for us. As our parking lot is too small, he had to park at our gate and walk less than 250 feet to our office. When he did so, he direct said he could not drive our forklift to remove the delivery. When I told him I had no one else to drive the forklift and move the delivery, he walked out and slammed our door. Once my back was turned and I was busy, he walked back in our office, through our warehouse, and got on our forklift without permission and without waiting to see if I could find someone to help out. He moved the delivery to the front of my building, left the forklift, and got back in his truck and left. He also flipped me the bird as he left. He was completely in the wrong for entering my warehouse without permission and using our forklift, not to mention he was extremely rude and nasty. I have his name and phone number.

I have never left a bad review about a company, I usually just suck it up and move on, but This is the worst shipping company out there. What a joke they are. Unable to follow simple directions, Incompetent lazy worthless drivers. Every delivery i have received from this company has had some issue, from losing my order, to taking 16 days to go from Arizona to California, to the drivers pulling up and driving off without knocking or ringing the bell. Do not use this company. They have several hundred bad reviews across multiple sites.

So much of my life span has been wasted by this companies tandem trailer drivers obstruction of the left lane. GET OUT OF THE LEFT LANE!

Like a lot of other folks I have had trouble with SAIA Shipping Company. When my tracking number didn't work I called them and they don't answer after four tries. The had a recording which said they were having difficulties and to call later.
Then I got a revised tracking number from the merchant and that did not work on their site, either. First the merchant gave a date of arrival, then they gave me a week later arrival date. This company appears to be unreliable. It's very frustrating for the tracking numbers not to work and not to be able to contact the shipping company.

This is the 2nd time in 6 months that Saia is attempting to "re-rate" me.... meaning they want to charge additional monies on top of the original quote. On the first one, they tried to charge me an additional $562 saying that dimensions given to them were not correct. I just happened to still have the shipment intact in my warehouse and was able to "prove", with pictures, that the information they were touting was an outright lie. They backed right down. Now they are trying it again within 6 months. This company will try to outright "scam" you and bilk you out of more money. Don't trust them. Worst LTL company that I've had to deal with!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I'm in North Dakota and ordered something from Seattle. It was picked up on 4th and estimated delivery date at that time was the 12th, then it changed to the 11th, then the 13th. Now it says to call Customer Service for delivery date. When I called Customer Service (she was actually quite pleasant), she told me the trailer was being loaded at a terminal 3-1/2 hours away from me and its next stop would be at the destination terminal which is 45 minutes from me but probably wouldn't get there until the 17th. It's the 13th now and it's going to take 4 days to go 250 miles? I will never use this company again. 13 days to go from Seattle to 2 states over. Ridiculous

They do not care about anything, especially the customer. The customer service phone line is worthless. I totally agree with other reviews on this platform...their delivery policies are completely unreasonable, they are not accurate on weight, length, they reweigh and decide on whatever length they see that works for them. Not considerate of the customers time at all.....you are on their schedule and only their schedule. Cover yourself take pictures, measure and weigh again if possible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRUCKING COMPANY.

Completely unreasonable policies designed to rip off customers anyway they can. We've been a customer with SAIA for decades and it's finally time to stop putting up with their nonsense.

Worst shipping company I have ever I have business with, the online system is not professional and my package took forever to get delivered. My first and last time to do business with this company. I rather do business with professional companies.

I ordered a rear bumper cost me over 500 dollars and it's just sitting in the back of there truck not in a box sliding around its scratched nicked. Horrible shipper becareful don't use this company.

SAIA has never picked up our load. First attempt, driver would not wait and was very rude. SAIA supposedly scheduled a second attempt but has yet to pick up. We had good luck earlier this summer but this fiasco has us scrambling to another carrier!

Saia advertises great rates through brokers but then ALWAYS does a fake reweigh, often with a Class change, that results in a much higher price than you would have chosen from the list of carriers. Will never use them again,
