I never got a confirmation email, the process of ordering was very easy but the problem is that I never got a conformation email and after I told customer services the email was not sent. But I did get my package although it was hard to track as I never got the email.

Excellent communication from start to finish, fast delivery, pleasure to deal with, I will definitely use Old Mill Saddlery again.

I ordered a saddle pad which was described as having a fluffy padding on the withers, it turned up without the padding and they have refused to give a refund (they offered a discount but looking at reviews on trust pilot I won’t be purchasing from them again!) due to it being personalised. I would not have had it personalised if I knew it would not have the padding as it is totally useless to me.

I have reported the company to trading standards as the false description is still on the website and it is not the only one according to other reviews on Trustpilot.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with or ordered from. I waited 3 weeks in total for a delivery that was going from Northern Ireland to the south of Ireland. Not only that, but when it arrived the parcel was empty. After another week of me calling the company every day being fed a pack of lies each time, it was finally Arrived. I was assured that this would never happen again so I said alright in good faith I’ll order one more small item to see what happens. A week went by didn’t hear anything didn’t receive any emails or notifications. So I called the company again I was then told that the item I payed for was out of stock. So why did no one call me to tell me that?I explained what had happened with the last order and that I wanted a refund with a begrudging attitude I was given my refund. I will never in my life order from old mill saddlery again. My advice to any fellow equestrians is to look else where when ordering on line. I have ordered items from England that have arrived faster.this company is an absolute nightmare to deal with.

I've used Old Mill Saddlery a few times now and have always had excellent Service from them and goods have always arrived sooner than expected.

The goods I've bought have all been good quality.

Placed an order with old mill saddlery and received a prompt and efficient response, delivery and service. Based on this I would use them again.

Untrustworthy, terrible customer service, and poor product quality. Old Mill Saddlery have received so many bad reviews that they have turned off their Google Review page. I reported an issue and they have been investigating for over two weeks now and whenever I chase them for a response, I just get a standard holding email. I will now have to dispute the transaction with my credit card company.

I can never seem to get my head around why equestrian business owners are so commercially unaware. It is no wonder the general population have such a bad impression of equestrians when companies like Old Mill Saddlery prove those impressions are in fact warranted.

Highly recommend using a reputable retailer such as Redpost.

This company is not genuine and takes your money and does not return it.
Unethical behaviour and practices do not use them.
In the process of legally getting my money back.

Will never use again!! Placed an order costing £150 with express delivery as urgently needed for a very poorly horse, they emailed me 3 days later to advise it was out of stock, would I like to wait 6 weeks or order an alternative, none of the alternatives were in stock anyway! They took my money immediately and expect me to wait a week to get it back when the item was never in stock in the first place! I’ve expressed to them how I feel and they do not care, just say the same thing back again. Absolutely appalled, left with a very sore horse and I cannot afford to purchase elsewhere until I get my refund now.

I’m furious. The only reason I ordered from them was because they claimed to have next day delivery if you order before 1pm. I ordered at 9am and 5 days later I finally received my order. I will not be ordering again

Wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing from this company. Customer service was so poor and the people I spoke with had a 'that's tough luck' attitude. I bought a back protector 10 days before a competition as I needed something with the latest safety standards. On their website it said they used an Express 48 hour delivery service, so I expected it to arrive a couple of days later. After taking 4 days to even dispatch, it didn't arrive for another 7 days, by which my competition had been and gone.

I understand they can't control what the delivery company does and that's not my issue, it's the way they were on the phone when I asked for assistance with tracking it. The woman I spoke to just said 'my hands are tied' and 'there's nothing more I can do' despite the fact that my parcel was no where to be seen 11 days after ordering. They could not have been less bothered at the time it took to get to me, despite me stressing that I needed it for a show (which I had left ample time for). When I spoke with them, they were very blunt towards me and I was made to feel like a hassle. Very very poor!

Dreadful! Incompetent from the start until I finally got one sensible person to sort out the mess!! I wasted so much energy trying to chase them, I have no energy left to even write what went wrong!!
As others have said, avoid,avoid avoid!!!

Abysmal customer service.
Ordered 10 days before Christmas, took them an age to let me know they never actually had the item I ordered, took even longer to get them to process a refund.
Not sure if they are a scam or just plain terrible. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and steer clear, you will only end up out of pocket until you can eventually get them to respond.

Avoid at all costs.
Placed an order with them for several people for an upcoming competition which should have arrived a few days before we were due to compete.
I rang to check on the order later in the week as it hadn't arrived and was told it hadn't been sent out as one of the items from my order was out of stock.
The girl on the phone insisted I must have had an email, but when she actually went and checked and found no email had been sent to me said 'well its just a glitch on the system!'.
Moral of the story, my items never arrived, they refused to send next day delivery unless I paid more for their error, and I and the rest of my team had to go on a mad dash to local tack shops to try and source the items that this USELESS company couldn't deliver!!!!!
I had back and forth emails, and it's all a long story, but I kept catching them out on their lies and in the end they just stopped replying!
AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! Horrific customer service.

Wish I'd read these reviews before - communication was awful - supposed to send an email when item despatched but none received. Had ordered riding hat on 24 hour postage - didn't receive for another 4 days after I'd ordered and absolutely no correspondence. Tracking showed it arrived in Northern Ireland 48hours after I'd ordered it!!!. Did eventually arrive and product good. But very stressful as wanting hat for an event and didn't arrive in time. Won't be using again

I ordered shoes on their website, which showed the color I wanted. However when the shoes arrived, they were the wrong color. Despite this, the shoes are still being advertised with the wrong color. How dopey can one be?!!. Of course I lost postage on the transaction. Incompetence is a awful scourge in Ireland - north and south.

Ordered two bags on 26 Nov, told 3 days later the order had been shipped, then got an email another 3 days later saying they didn't have one of them. As I still not had any bags so replied asking for clarification as they said they had already sent the order but if they haven't just cancel it.
One of the bags arrived the next day. 5 days later I got an email saying they couldn't cancel it as they had already shipped the second bag. 5 hours AFTER that I got an email saying they just shipped the second bag! I replied saying I had obviously re-ordered the bag a week earlier when they said they didn't actually send it and that had already arrived and I would be returning this bag when it arrived. Second bag arrived a week after that and was returned. Only got refund yesterday after asking why I hadn't had it as they had received it a week earlier!
All in all it took 2 months to NOT get and get a refund on the item they SAID they had in-stock and had sent out to me!

No complaints whatsoever! Order arrived in less than 24 hours, product as described. Positive experience!

Ordered a set of polyjumps for a Christmas gift at the beginning of October paid in full and also paid the delivery costs, it’s now two days before Christmas and no polyjumps!! I’d been emailing them every week and they would say it will be delivered!! I’ll have a very disappointed girl Christmas morning 😢
