Always an issue.
A few times in my past orders, whenever I have ordered more than 1 item in the same order, they have forgotten the other items, and only the big bag of food arrives. In this latest order, I ordered my usual 12kg of food and a sample of another product. Sadly, they used Parcel Force, who are very unreliable, and the tracking was all over the place. Despite them having the parcel in their depot at 12:15 am Saturday, and the tracking saying it would be delivered that day, they refused to deliver it until Monday. On Sunday, they updated their tracking to say the sender had dispatched it that day, after they had received it, magic. When my order arrived, it only had the big dog food as usual, and the sample was missing. When I asked about it, I was told the samples are posted from a different location, so it would be a separate parcel, meaning another 3-day wait, playing the Parcel Force tracking guessing game, and more unnecessary packaging. There is no mention of this on the website, as I would not have bothered. I also only had the 1 tracking number as it included both items, so I don't even know if what the agent told me was legit. After so many issues, it looks like I will have to shop elsewhere.
RESPONSE THE REPLY:
Many years as a loyal customer? I placed my first order on January 28, 2025; 17 months is hardly many years. Also, 3 orders had problems, all 3 with missing items, whether that's a stock discrepancy or not, the items were still missing that I paid for. Yes, I was refunded for the cat food, but there was a problem with the order.
The fact that you have tried to belittle me with your cocky response just reassures me that I need to shop elsewhere.

Having reviewed your account, we can see that there have been 2 issues over the many years you have been a loyal customer with us. 1 being a stock discrepancy where we applied a credit to your account and the other being a missing item on your order, which we replaced on the 8th January once we returned back from our Christmas closure.
We fully appreciate how frustrating these situations can be, and on each occasion our team worked to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Regarding your most recent order, the sample pack was unfortunately not received and we promptly arranged a refund once this was brought to our attention. Samples are dispatched separately from our main warehouse due to the high volume we process. This allows us to maintain the fast turnaround times our customers expect for their main orders without causing delays in the warehouse. That said, we appreciate your comments regarding the communication around this process and will review how we can make this clearer to customers in future.
We're also sorry that you were unhappy with the delivery service. While courier tracking updates and delivery schedules are outside of our direct control, we recognise that the overall experience reflects on us as the retailer and understand your frustration.

Dog is happy....I am happy!
I ordered a sample of the complete 'Wild' food for my dog, as she has become fussy in her old age!
I have spent so much time and money trying to find foods that will whet her appetite.
The sample arrived promptly, and my dog was very interested from the off!!
I am only giving her a small amount each day, along with one other food she has deigned to like, so that she doesn't get too used to it and stop eating it. Hopefully she will continue to like it, then I shall order a bigger bag.
I am grateful for the sample offer, as buying a larger amount, only to find that it isn't acceptable by 'her majesty' is such a waste of money.

Complete Dry Dog Food for Active Dogs (14kg)
I bought a 14kg bag of the Complete Dry Dog Food for Active Dogs about 2 months ago for my 33kg active lurcher. I feed it alongside a home-made cooked diet at a ratio of approx 50/50. The Darf kibble is the best I have used (and I have tried a few.) Within a few days the dogs poo's had firmed up and were smaller in size so the food must have less filler in than others I had used - he also farts far less too! 😂
The only thing I would say about this food is that I have to feed about 10% more than the highest recommended quantity.
I will definitely keep buying it and 100% recommend it.
Delivery service was quick and ordering easy.

Food is okay but once you add the delivery charge it to expensive. Not every one wants £50 of dry food hanging around for one small dog. No incentive to purchase
