The payout process was extremely fast, and I genuinely appreciate that. The support team was also polite throughout our conversation.

However, my overall experience was very disappointing.

Like many traders, I wanted to make a small first withdrawal simply to confirm that payouts were reliable before continuing to scale my funded account. I believe this is a completely reasonable approach.

After my withdrawal, I discovered that my Maximum Total Loss had been locked at my starting balance. Since my account balance also returned to the starting balance after the payout, I effectively had zero drawdown remaining, meaning I could no longer place a normal trade without immediately breaching the account.

I understand that this rule exists in the payout specification. However, I believe this is one of the most important rules in the entire program and should be made much clearer before a withdrawal is confirmed.

During my conversation with support, they informed me that they are planning to improve the warning shown before payouts. I appreciate that they acknowledged my feedback. Unfortunately, that improvement came too late to help in my case.

If the system had clearly displayed a message such as:

"Important warning: After this withdrawal, your remaining drawdown will be $0. Please review this very carefully, as placing a normal trade may immediately result in a rule violation."

I would never have made this withdrawal.

I hope Hantec improves this process so that no other traders experience the same situation.

I decided to test this prop firm by purchasing two accounts, one 10k and one 50k.

I traded normally and independently the entire time — no trade copier, no coordination with anyone, and no group activity. Everything was executed by me, and I have proof of my trades and strategies.

Things went well and I reached the withdrawal stage. However, literally one day before submitting my payout request, my account was suddenly banned with the reason “Trading Group”.

This makes no sense in my case.

I contacted support multiple times asking for clarification, but after a few emails I was told the decision is final and they would not respond any further. No real evidence was provided.

To make things worse, I shared my experience in their Discord to warn other users. My message was deleted and I was punished with a 6-day restriction, instead of being given any transparency or proper explanation.

and I opened a ticket in Discord. They said they would respond by email, so I also sent new messages by email, but I was ignored and my Discord ticket was closed!.

If I comment anything about this in Discord, they delete it and give me a 6-day ban or even a permanent ban.

The message they send here on Trustpilot saying, “Hello Wendell, We have requested further information to identify your profile. Kind Regards,” is only to make it look like they are trying to resolve the issue. In reality, they are not contacting me. And I saw people commenting about the same problem of being banned in their chat, and then their comment was completely deleted, and they were probably banned too!

I am updating this review because this is the current situation. This company is a scam 100%!

I have saved all communications and screenshots, including the deleted Discord message warning people and when I was banned from Discord for 6 days!

I am a returning customer who paid for multiple challenges. If you actually know how to trade and make consistent profits, DO NOT fund an account here. Here is the exact, undeniable timeline of how Hantec Trader manipulates and bans consistent winners:

Phase 1: Initial Payout Approval
I passed the evaluation and got my funded account. My first payout went smoothly. They happily paid, assuming I would eventually blow the account like most traders.

Phase 2: Unjustified Payout Suspension
I kept trading perfectly and requested my second payout. Suddenly, the games began. They arbitrarily rejected my request, freezing it for a vague "review." They made the withdrawal a complete nightmare. After a lot of patience, fighting, and forcing me to submit another request for no logical reason, they finally released my funds.

Phase 3: Manual Profit Confiscation & Account Breach
I resumed trading. Over the next 4 trading days, I took exactly 4 normal trades and quickly generated new profits. That is when they pulled the plug. While my 4th trade was actively running, they literally hijacked my MT4 terminal. They forcefully closed my position, executed a manual negative "Adjustment" to confiscate exactly $3,485 of my profits, reset my balance back to exactly $200,000, and locked my dashboard with a message stating: "Your account has been breached."

When I demanded technical proof or asked what specific rule I supposedly broke, they cowardly refused. They hid behind a pathetic, automated copy-paste email: "unable to provide specific information due to an ongoing investigation."

ZERO TRANSPARENCY. NO RULES BROKEN.

They manually wiped my MT4 balance simply because I survived their delayed payout trap, came back, and kept winning. They will gladly take your fees, but the second you show real consistency, they will manually steal your money and ban you. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Hantec Trader. After putting in the time, effort, and discipline to successfully meet all their trading parameters, I finally reached the payout stage. Instead of receiving my legitimate profits, my withdrawal was abruptly denied, and my funded account was completely suspended.

When I contacted their support team to ask for a clear explanation or technical evidence of what went wrong, they gave me a generic "rule violation" excuse. They deliberately refused to provide any concrete proof or pinpoint the exact rule I supposedly breached.

A reputable prop firm should operate on transparency and trust. Denying a trader's hard-earned payout and locking them out of their account without substantiating the claims is highly unprofessional and alarming.

I strongly advise other traders to be extremely cautious. Until they provide transparent evidence or process my payout, I cannot recommend this firm.

I purchased 7 evaluation accounts from Hantec Trader, but my first payout request exposed their incredibly predatory business model.

When I requested my payout, they arbitrarily deducted $2,718, claiming it was "news trading." Here is the trap: because of THEIR deduction, my account suddenly failed their "consistency rule." To withdraw my remaining balance, I was forced to continue trading to generate more profits and fix the consistency ratio.

I accepted the challenge. I went back to the markets, traded perfectly during normal hours, made more profits, and successfully fixed the consistency rule.

My reward for proving my profitability? They sent an email allowing the remaining withdrawal, but stated my account would be permanently closed afterward due to vaguely "detected prohibited strategies." They refused to specify which strategy or rule I supposedly broke.

The logic is completely flawed: If my strategy was truly "prohibited," why didn't they ban me immediately? Why force me to keep trading to fix the consistency rule first? The answer is simple: they hoped I would fail and blow the account. When I succeeded, they panicked and permanently banned me to avoid paying me in the future.

They love collecting fees for 7 accounts, but they will actively manipulate the rules and invent vague excuses to ban you
