I ordered dusky pink bathroom paint because it looked gorgeous on the pics. However it was more like hot pink. Silly me carried on and painted the whole room hoping it might lighten as it dries. Nope definitely HOT PINK. Now have to buy paint to cover and another lot of paint for lighter shade. I am new to diy so rookie mistake on my end. Gutted and so disappointed 😞

The paint is excellent and provided all goes according to plan delivery is really good too. However we tried to place a third order and things started to go wrong from the outset. Last Monday we set about ordering floor tile paint and decided to opt for The Eco roller pack as well as it was half price when ordered with a 2 .5L tin of paint. Unfortunately every time we went to check out the system would not reduce the price of the roller pack. Subsequently we contacted customer service which quaintly is done via email with a 24 hour response time during the week so eventually we agreed we would place the order and they would credit us the difference for the roller pack. All seem to go okay? Money was taken from our account and we had an email saying our order was being checked. I should say at this point we were expecting next day delivery as we had placed the order well before 4 pm. The following day still heard nothing so I contacted them again, the next day we got a response asking for our postal address so they could look into our order. The next day still no response so I checked again. It is now Friday and I have been told that our order was not processed so we have had to place it again. We have just received an email from the courier saying they have been asked to deliver on a weekday which means next Monday so all in all next day delivery actually means eight days from order to delivery additionally the paperwork states one item to be delivered so looks like we won’t be getting the roller kit. Anyway to summarise, great paint, appalling customer service if we buy again, we will be looking to go to a third-party. Cannot believe that you cannot speak to a customer service advisor in this day and age.

Paint was easy to use. I painted kitchen floor tiles.
So far it is reasonably resilient. Pretty pleased with results.
Has transformed the room.

Do not purchase all surface spray paint. They just block themselves up after a quarter of the can, so frustrating, B&Q should stop selling them.

We wouldn’t buy from this company again. Actually getting the product was a nightmare due to atrocious FedEx delivery service. Company were not particularly helpful when we tried to resolve this. The product itself, a satinwood paint, is unfortunately not of good quality and we are very disappointed with the finish compared to the original Dulux satinwood (unfortunately Dulux no longer offer the right colour).

When u mix the activator B initially it will give good applicable consistency but within half an hour it became so viscous paint brush ,or even spay got jammed .
The package does not contain any instruction that which solvent should be used to achieve workable consistency.
When I approached bunning the paint guy for guidance he was also as ignorant as I was .
It is wastage of money as after first coat the paint became so thick could not apply second quote and it just happened after an hour or so

Project - updating an old cabinet. Bought some chalky finish furniture paint. Prepped the unit thoroughly. Put two coats on as suggested. Finish looked horrible, brush lines everywhere so very lightly sanded and used a roller where possible.
Tin suggests using Rustoleum lacquer to protect the paint so purchased a tin and added two coats which changed the finish from flat chalky to slight satin which I wasn't impressed with however if it protected the surface then so be it.
Left to fully dry and went to put the cupboard furniture back on and even the slightest touch caused chips so not happy!
Having spent best part of £40 on product to decorate a single unit I can honestly say a complete waste of money. The lacquer especially was a compete waste of money.
Avoid at all costs! Horrendous!

Rustoleum customer services have been very helpful when I phoned 4 times in the last week. My issue is with their colours department who can only be contacted by email. Very curt replies wanting an order number. they 'missed' an email from me to say that I had an invoice number but no order number. The return just said exactly the same as their first reply, give us an order number and then we can help you. I phoned CS again and they emailed Colours again. This times the email started by telling me off, 'As we have said before' and the CS department should not be used as you have. THEY MUST go on an 'how to reply to an email course' and not be so rude and abrupt . They appear to be very robotic sending out replies that have not responded to my questions about such things as colour swatches and how to do returns.

So disappointed in this product now.
I have used the rustoleum painters touch ultra cover for the last few years now. However, they must have changed the ingredients or how this product is made.

When its used now it spits out and the end result is not a candy pink gloss.

At 1st I thought it was a off can, but no. I've gone to other stores to purchase and its the same result.

I bought furniture satin finish paint.I have used this paint on several items and in different colours . My most recent purchase turned out to be a Matt finish despite being marked satin .
I contacted customer service detailing this. The response was swift and a replacement can is on its way .
Brilliant customer service

Ordered samples of colours which arrived the wrong colour! In the correct packet, just the totally wrong colour paint. Informed it would be investigated but meanwhile no solution. Informed I cannot wait for it to be investigated as I need to choose an actual colour paint, then got asked if I would like replacements........ YES! I want the product I paid for. A week later I am still wiating and 2 weeks wasted unable to continue decorating.

After trying to paint kitchen cupboards with other paint brands , Rust-Oleum was the very best paint to use.We used the kitchen cupboard paint in Anthracite and it was amazing.
Goes on well ( we did use two coats) Colour is perfect and it wipes off without marking.Miight not be the cheapest, but it's soo worth paying just a little bit extra for the superb end result.Looks like I've spent thousands on a new kitchen.Im absolutely thrilled

Ordered 2nd jan still haven't arrived!

I don’t have an issue with the paint as such but customer service is shocking!!
If there’s any problem with the order, trying to get any response at all out of them from their contact address ‘hello@‘ is an utter waste of time. You are simply speaking to a brick wall!!!

Don’t order from this company. I ordered my paint 11 weeks ago. Chased 3 times. Never got an email back from customer service and they still have my money. It’s disgusting.

Returning unusednpaints.
Bought more paint than needed and have been trying to return the unused paints for over a week. Only emails accepted and they take one working day to reply which is laughable and to this day still waiting!!! Word of warning best to order from another supplier since I returned another batch of paints with no problem and I still have to pay the return fees

Een tafel geverfd met de krijtverf van Rust-Oleum met hier overheen een laklaag, ook van Rust-Oleum. Deze hadden we gekocht bij een verf speciaalzaak. Na een iets langere tijd plakte de tafel nog steeds en werd ook erg vies. We hebben de tafel opgeschuurd en opnieuw gelakt. Nu plakte de tafel na een kortere periode nog steeds en is ook alweer heel erg vies. Contact opgenomen met Rust-Oleum en hun reactie: niet rechtstreeks bij ons gekocht dus geen hulp!
Nou, dan sta je ook echt achter je product en ben je ook echt klantvriendelijk! Voor ons nooit geen Rust-Oleum meer!

As for wether it can be applied straight onto painted or varnished wood as it claims - absolutely not. I applied two coats of this, in workshop conditions , to a previously painted floor (diamond hard white floor paint) and it scratches , nay flakes off at the first touch from anything that isn't a socked foot!
A chair slightly moved takes both layers off... the heel of a boot etc etc.
I gave it 3stars because it looks good but I have to varnish it ASAP!!

Fed ex are completely ruining this company's reputation. I ordered paint on Monday and still no paint 2 days later. There is no contact number for customer support. You have to rely on emailing them and waiting for a response that doesn't arrive. Not good as this is the second time ordering but I wouldn't order again. I'd rather source from a different supplier or use a completely different paint brand which is such a shame as the paint itself is really good. This is an absolute waste of my time because I've already spent money and now my renovation is at a standstill because of a delay with no information at all about where the paint is.

I ordered the rust oleum floor tile paint which normally comes with an addative..I ordered the paint on Friday and received the paint 9.23 am Monday 24 November. As soon as I open the box and realised the addative was missing I contacted rust oleum by email. On the email I required two things one was a VAT receipt and the second was the addative that was missing from my order, 4 days later I received an email with my VAT receipt but no mention of my missing addative….. one week later and 6 emails later STILL no contact or addative. Very frustrating no phone number to contact them. Don’t think I will be using these again Ever
