Allways sign up with Run through find it ever so easy and not complicated at all and the locations are so well organised and the courses are well stewarded and friendly and the merchandise is reasonable

The Gatwick HM was a great event. Excellent flat, wide course, definitely one for a PB. Volunteers were amazing. Such a great vibe in the athletes village, before and after.

Gatwick half marathon,
my 70th half and the one I had the pleasure of completing it with my son Tom, who was doing his very first half.
From arriving and finding the car park, to walking to the start village. And then the route and right to the finish line followed by the much appreciated snacks handed to all of the finishers, Runthrough know how to do it right.
The staff and volunteers all go the extra mile to make it special for anyone who is doing an event with them.
And Gatwick really did not disappoint.
The photographers on course captured some great moments too and the aircraft coming in to land as we ran below them made it spectacular.
There is always more than enough water stations and gels given (wish they were Hi-Five)
But that's just me.
I'm really looking forward to doing many more events with Runthrough and my now hooked Son.

I’ve only been running for about 9 months and signed up for my first event in October last year which was an event at Goodwood. The atmosphere, and the welcoming nature were fantastic regardless of ability. Since then I have completed a number of events by different comps and RunThrough is a step above the rest, staff, organisation are top notch

The whole morning was brilliant. The staff gearing us up before the race, even though the weather wasn't great.
Plenty of loos so no waiting around. The marshals cheering us on round the course were so enthusiastic. The medals are gorgeous and great quality. On the whole the atmosphere is so friendly I have done this 3 times now and have the bug.
Definitely recommend.

I did the Tatton Park 5km. I was impressed with how well organised it was, the staff and volunteers were all really positive and made it a great experience for a first timer like me. The people taking part in the runs were really diverse which was very heartwarming to see. Highly recomended, especially if this is your first event.

Well organised

I am afraid, in terms of communications, this is one of the worst event organisers I have come across. My teenage daughter and I were supposed to do the 5k run at Hyde Park on 09.05.2026. RunThrough announced on 01.05.2026 that the event was postponed to 30.05.2026. I chose for my daughter to get transferred to the Battersea 5k run on 30.05.2026 instead. I did it on 05.05.2026 (within the provided deadline). Since I am running with my colleagues, my work is in charge of my ticket, so I did not need to do anything with my ticket.

No confirmation that the transfer for my daughter was successful was received until now. I even contacted RunThrough via a form on their website on 07.05.2026. Once again, no acknowledgment or any sort of reply was received.

This is what I am not happy with:

1) If you decide to postpone the run, ensure that your ‘run transfer’ processes are seamless and efficient. I planned my May around the original run date, just like I imagine many people did, so expect swift and proactive communication where the run postponement is not due to my fault.

2) If you offer a ‘run transfer’ option, ensure that your communication surrounding it is outstanding. So far, it has been nonexistent. Up until now, I am still not sure what is happening with my daughter’s run transfer request (which I had every right to apply for, since RUnThrough have postponed the original run). I can’t plan anything around the end of the month simply because RunThrough so far has not offered any clarity.

3) If you have a form on your website, where people who purchased your service can contact you, please ensure that you have an active communication process in place, where one receives an automatic reply that the enquiry is being processed, along with when one will hear back from the team.

Please don’t disregard the fact that, at the end of the day, you provide your service to other people. You need to step up and enhance your communication process.

This is my first negative review in my life. I had no choice but to post it, as my experience with RunThrough so far has been poor, and I hope it will be taken on board, so that other people end up having a more pleasant experience.

My two main races are Stratford and Greenwich. I love them both. They are both really well organised and are such fun events to go to.

Not being the fastest runner in the pack, I like these events which are looped runs (Stratford 4 times same circuit, Greenwich 3) you don't feel left behind being closer towards the back of the pack.

The fact that they do 5k races on the same route I think is a great idea.

I will give a word of warning for the Greenwich 10k; You get the pleasure of running up the steep hill THREE TIMES (now there is a good bit of thigh work for you)

I have entered many races with Run Through since 2017 and have always had a great experience. The events are well organised and the staff / volunteers always friendly.

I’ve run in Runthrough events for the last 3 years. It was really my introduction to running. As a “senior “ runner I was made to feel absolutely welcome. Every event I’ve run in I’ve found them to be extremely well organised, efficient and without doubt one of the best running organisations there is. A friendly atmosphere greets every runner. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If it’s a Runthrough event - I’m in !!!!

Very well organised - the whole experience was amazing from start to finish, there was lots of things to do while waiting to start the race, a lot of refreshment options. The race it self was well maintained and organised, signs made it easy to find the way to go. Staff were friendly and really motivating everyone taking part.

RunThrough deserve real credit for everything they do behind the scenes at the events they organise. It’s not just about race day itself, it’s the preparation, organisation, and hard work that goes into creating and running each event from start to finish, including all the post event support as well.

The staff have always been incredibly supportive, approachable, and easy to contact whenever needed. I would definitely continue using RunThrough throughout my running journey.

Every RunThrough event I've been to has been fantastic! The course, the atmosphere, the marshals, the medals - 10/10! My latest run was Newcastle-Gateshead 10k, I'm looking forward to the next one.

I originally booked a 10K at Hyde Park, but unfortunately Hyde Park/Run Through double booked. Instead of offering a refund, they only allowed me to switch to another event, so I chose the Victoria Park 10K.
The course itself was very congested. The 10k consisted of three laps around the park, but with a Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K all sharing the same route, it felt crowded alongside regular park runners. The faster runners would be dodging between the slower runners as the path was so congested.
The biggest issue was the lack of clear signage and poor marshalling. After completing my third lap, I asked two different stewards where the finish line was as I could not see the signs. Both simply told me to keep running ahead. I followed their advice and ended up running until my Strava hit 11K, meaning I missed the turn and ran an extra 1.56K. The route and distance markings were not very clear and the staff weren't helpful at all.
To top it off, my husband and I were given different medals despite completing the exact same race, which made it feel very impersonal. I enjoy running 10Ks, but I won't be using Run Through again.

I am very glad to have such an experience with runthrough. Every single person was doing their job with a great smile. Everything was clear and enough before and during the race. Absolutely, i ll run with them a lot more.

Easy to book, all information sent in a timely manner, first time using bag drop which was easy to do and to collect after the race.
Nice and easy in the run up to the start and easy to get medal on completing

I love these events! I have been to a handful of the events this year starting with a 5k run and now I have nearly 8 booked for the year including half marathons! The staff are fantastic and the events are very well organised. I usually attended them alone and never feel out of place! I genuinely look forward to attending and I am so grateful to take part in these races in the Northwest!

I've done a few Run Through events: 10k, half marathon and marathon and I've always found it a hugely positive experience. My latest is the Newcastle Gateshead marathon. Organisation and volunteer support are always top notch and make for a great day. I have a few more to come this year and I'm looking forward to them with great enthusiasm 😍😍😍

I was concerned about doing a marathon that was 3 laps but it was brilliant as you got to know where the water stations were etc. The marshalls and organisation was fabulous. It was great to keep running alongside others that were doing the 10k / half marathon too as there were always plenty of runners about. The weather wasn’t great but the experience was amazing. Thank you!
