This is a fake website pretending to be Hoka. The shoes are counterfeit and it’s been confirmed by Hoka. They ship them over from Hong Kong and you can’t return them. Do not buy - website is in the process of being shut down.
SCAM, FAKE TRAINERS. NO RETURNS, have to sell to family and friends
Yes. Like the others. We to have been scammed. Bought two pairs of bondi 8s. One pair for me and one pair for my son. I noticed the stitching on his was appallingly bad in some areas. On my pair there was excessive glue in places. And the tongues felt a little off centre. Surprisingly they are very comfy and have soft soles. I thought something was wrong when I seen they were £150 on the HOKA website. And we only paid £65 a pair.
They don't even deserve one star. Hoka UK have confirmed to me Runnercare is a scam website selling fake Hoka shoes. They will be closing them down. Very helpful and understanding customer services girl said her best advice was to contact my bank and report the scam and try for my money back through the bank.
Counterfeit goods!
Keep away.
Bought 2 pairs of Hoka trainers.
They promised free returns etc, and the highest customer care, however.... Despite being shipped from Hounslow UK, the returns go to China! At a cost of £60…!
They recommend selling them on to friends and family.... Which is nice.
A quick Google of how to spot counterfeit Hoka on YouTube, shows them to be clear fakes.
The 'not straight' logo on the insoles, and no ventilation holes under the insole and, the most important part for running shoes, not spungy soles, tells you all you need to know!
On a serious note, Hoka are serious running shoes, if you use these, you risk injury etc.
You may as well run in a pair of slippers.
No confirmation emails of purchase no telephone number to call, I'm sure it's not a legit website.
Now an update, they came about a week later, and I have thoroughly examined them against my other Hoka's and they look and feel exactly the same, even down to the weight and markings.
So, looks like a good buy.
Scam website. Stay away.
They offer HOKA branded shoes at bargain prices, but operate out of Hong Kong.
Definitely not legitimate.
