The machines work brilliantly, cleaning our carpets with ease and leaving them so much cleaner, fresher and drier than the consumer machines you can buy yourself!

One point I should mention is to check the previous user has cleaned the machine thoroughly before you take it home. Our one wasn't and I had to spend 20 minutes cleaning the previous users dirt and hairs before I could start cleaning my own carpets.

Will definitely be using again and I like the ease of collecting and depositing from a passcode protected locker which makes the whole process quick and efficient!

Easy pick up and return system. Very good results after the carpet clean. Highly recommended for the price.

Clear instructions made it easy to use the machine, and with the handheld attachment I was able to breath new life into an old sofa. My only gripe is that the Rug Doctor website allowed me to book a 10 am collection from a supermarket which didn't open until an hour later. Without that very frustrating mishap this would be a 5-star review.

Good machine and easy to use. Got the carpet nice and clean, ny only criticism was the difficulty I had was getting the machine in an out of the locker, it was a tight fit with no handles to hold. Otherwise a good experience.

Ordering the product was fine. Collecting was fine but unfortunately when we got the machine home and had started working it leaked water all over the floor. We soon discovered that a tear in a plastic pipe had been covered with a cable tie and this had come loose.
I rang customer service who were very nice and helpful. I returned the broken section to the shop and collected a new one. Unfortunately that was a hour trip for me so time wasted.
Overall the experience was good but I don’t think they are checked properly inbetween rentals unfortunately.

Very heavy machine to use but cleaned the carpet well. I used my own vax machine to suck up excess
moisture that was left. It was very hard to get out of the box it came in being very heavy, had to lay on the side and pull it out,also had to get help to put it back in..don’t want to be too negative but you asked for an honest opinion.

The first machine we had wasn’t good and left lines all over the carpet. I rang them the next day and their Customer Service response was outstanding.

Firstly I was able to get straight through to an actual human being, no AI or voice recorded conversations. They listened to the issues I had and kindly refunded me the money and also gave me another machine the following day to try again. You could tell this was a newer machine and it worked great with the carpets now looking clean and fresh.

Not booked, phoned from shop and was told how to access machine. Cleaned carpet well. Ease of return.

Collection as stated an amazing machine, carpets cleaned to an exceptional standard for a fraction of the cost quoted.

Used to clean quite dirty carpets, very clear instructions and excellent youtubes on how to use it. In retrospect I'd rent for 48 hours - the machine is heavy and it's hard work and doing twice would have improved result. Major problem was the handtool didn't fit in machine connector so I couldn't do stairs.

The machine had dirty liquid in it when I picked it up, which i didn't realise until it emptied onto my car seat and belongings, got it home it didn't work despite following trouble shooting advice, and the locker wouldn't open at the supermarket for me to return it. Not a good experience. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I got a refund for my hire promptly

An absolute disaster from collection
• machine was filthy and had to clean it
• Machine wouldn’t work
• Called service centre who confirmed machines are not checked on receipt back and it’s a gamble if working
• I booked one 2 weeks ago and on collecting found out machine was still out and then had to travel 8 miles to another collection point
• used to hire them previously from a local company

The machine is dirty and the spray is not working
