I just returned from a magical weekend where I brought 33 girls from my school rugby teams to the Women's RWC match between Ireland and New Zealand. We have amazing rugby players in Scoil Chríost Rí. Portlaoise, and it was an inspirational experience to go and watch their heroes play. We also had great luck staying in a quaint little hotel on the beach front in Brighton right next to the team hotel. They walked through moves while we watched on the green outside our hotel on the morning of the game. It added to the occasion that one of our past pupil was in the match day 23 and she came to visit us and impart some words of encouragement to our budding stars.

We also had dinner booked for us in a fabulous restaurant called Donatello's. It was like something from a post card. Everything was within walking distance from our hotel including a shopping centre, the beach, Donatello's restaurant, the Brighton i360 and the magical Brighton Palace Pier.

It also helped that we got the most beautiful weather but we can't really give credit to RTI for that, but we can give them credit for putting us in the best possible place to enjoy every minute of it.

Our recent rugby tour to South Africa was a well-run and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Travel and transfers were smooth and efficient, allowing us to focus on making the most of our time there. Both our RTI rep and local South African rep were helpful, approachable, and made sure everything stayed on track throughout the tour. The itinerary offered a good balance of education and fun. Highlights included the cable car up Table Mountain, a visit to Robben Island, surfing on the coast, and a two-night stay in a game reserve, where students had the chance to see wildlife and spend time together in a different setting.
Our rugby fixtures were competitive and well-matched, and each host school was welcoming and accommodating.

We’re already looking forward to planning our next tour with RTI and would happily recommend them to any school looking for a balanced, well-organised rugby trip abroad.

I was the main point of contact for a group of 50 students and 7 staff heading on a rugby trip to South Africa. We spent two weeks out there and I can honestly say that every aspect of the trip was excellent. There were no issues whatsoever and everyone in our group had a fantastic time. The hotels and itinerary were amazing and the support we received before the tour and on the ground whilst in South Africa was exceptional. A huge thank you is due to Darragh and all of his team for facilitating a truly memorable experience for all of us. We will be using them moving forward for all of our travel requirements and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

An incredible two week rugby tour in South Africa organised for 41 players and 6 coaches by RTI.
Their experience, knowledge and expertise on all things related to the tour were exceptional and allowed us to create memories for a life time.
We were gladly accompanied by RTI Staff member Olan who ensured the seamless running of the tour.
Looking forward to working with RTI again in the near future.

A great tour led by Darragh Frawley where we had a great experience in South Africa with 50 boys. Excellent match up of games and the time in between games were very smooth and memorable.

A personal, professional and thoroughly enjoyable experience in South Africa. Daragh Frawley our guide was incredible and a credit to the company.

Taking 50 18 year olds to South Africa is no easy task. It was the trip of a lifetime. That says it all.

A detailed and very organised itinerary with zero faults. The tour manager with us (Daragh) was extremely friendly, punctual, approachable and found ways to reorganise events that had to be postponed due to weather. I couldn’t recommend booking your trips with RTI more highly!

Galwegians u-13s had an incredible tour to Parma and Gardaland. Daragh and his team made the organising very easy and the overall package represented very good value for money. The accommodation in Parma was excellent (4*) and trip to Gardaland was a great experience for the players.

Excellent tour for the Greystones U14 Girls to Wales, hotel was exactly as needed, lots of great itinerary items and an excellent hosting team with Dunvant Dragons. Second time travelling with RTI, very helpful team and will go again

Fantastic experience from initial enquiry through to the tour itself. Seamless tour is how we would describe it with everything made easy from bus transfers to match arrangements and activities for the kids.

Hiccup with local bus company on pick up time one of the days although this wasn’t RTI’s mistake!

Our U14 team had an experience of a lifetime and all wondering about our next trip 🙄!

Recently returned from touring Hong Kong, Singapore and Viet Nam as part of the HK 7's tournament. Tour was expertly managed by Rugby Travel Ireland (RTI). The whole trip ran smoothly with excellent input from local tour operators who provided great insight to the various places visited.
No hesitation in recommendating RTI for any rugby related tour.

Just returned home from Portugal having competed in the Lisbon youth rugby festival. RTI organised the trip for us and did a truly amazing job. It’s the second year in a row our school has attended and we will definitely be using RTI again next year. All the staff are so friendly and a special mention to Fergal who looked after us unbelievably on the trip. Couldn’t recommend RTI enough…first class! Thank you.

Really enjoyable trip to Bordeaux despite the result. RTI team were top notch from leaving Cork to getting to France and back again. Great group on tour also.

From start to finish, everything ran smoothly – from travel arrangements and accommodation to the tournament logistics and downtime activities.

Niamh was a standout – professional, friendly, and always on hand to help with anything we needed. Her calm and caring presence made a big difference, especially for the younger players, and she kept everything running like clockwork. Her enthusiasm and genuine care for the group really made the experience even more special.
