Inane customer service. Also, don't buy the Point
I knew that my daughter wears a size 8 in the flat, so I bought her 8's in the Point. My mistake was buying them well ahead of her birthday. The same size in Points were way too small, but by the time she had sent them back to me the 30-day return window had passed.
At the 35-day mark, I wrote to ask if there were any return/exchange exceptions for gift giving. After an inane email conversation, I was told, "I would suggest donating the shoes if you know someone in need."
This was a $145 lesson and I won't bother with Rothy's again, even though I was already a two-time customer.
BTW, don't wash them, even by hand. They do shrink.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Unknowingly I used a promo code they do not except because it came from a blogger. Not only did they refuse to honor the code, they blamed me the first time customer for not knowing. It has also been almost 4 business days since my order and there has been no shipping notice. I will definitely not be ordering from them again and I’m still not sure if I’ll be keeping the shoes.
Rothy, Get your act together!
I ordered a pair of loafers on Sept. 1, 2019 and after about 10 days I emailed them to inquire about my shoes. I received only a generic "we are behind on shipping" response. So today Sept. 19, 2019, I called customer service to find out where the hell my shoes were. She told me that they had been out of stock this whole time, but they were now in stock. What is the chances that the day that I called customer service they would suddenly be in stock.? And if they were in stock, why hadn't they been shipped?? I don't trust that company to be honest or reliable.

Unacceptable customer service for the price
I ordered a pair of shoes (my third pair) and it'll be my last. I got a shipping notification on Saturday. Five days later it's still sitting in a warehouse waiting to be sent out. I emailed customer service who told me they won't do anything about it. I explained that I ordered them in plenty of time for a trip I'm going on (2 weeks ahead) and I'm now four days from my departure. There have been several emails, no solutions have been suggested, they just keep saying "I gave you the tracking information" unacceptable customer service for the price and popularity of the brand.
Would not recommend this company
Would not recommend this company. I was excited to try them but my first experience was my mom had sent me a pair of Rothy's as a gift. Their team shipped me the wrong order, when I notified them of this (thinking they would be quite alarmed as I received another customers information), they told me this does happen occasionally & asked me to send all kinds of documentation to show I have the wrong order and that I would need to go through an exchange process before I can receive my order. Not sure how this is falling on me as the customers fault? That seems to be their typical response.

I am so disappointed by every person I've talked to on the phone at this company. For the price of the shoes, I'd expect a much higher caliber of service. I don't even care how good the product is, I never want to deal with this company again.
Blame the customer
I purchase a pair of loafers, owned them less than one month, and washed them *exactly* as the directions indicated. They shrank anyway. So I contacted customer service with photos and details. They responded by saying “Unfortunately because the wash instructions were not followed we cannot offer a return/exchange.” So not only do they offer a product that doesn’t hold up when washed according to the instructions, they won’t make it right, AND they blame the customer for the defect. I’ve had better customer service from companies selling much cheaper products. I won’t purchase from them again.
Easy Exchange Process
I ordered two pairs of shoes in my normal size and they were too small. I submitted a request for an exchange and received a return label immediately. I opted to use the drop off service so I didn't have to re-package everything for shipment and it was quick and easy. I got an email that my shoes in the next size up shipped almost immediately after I dropped the smaller sizes off. Shipping was fast both times. Will purchase from this company in the future.
Terrible customer service
Love the shoes but had problems the first time around. Now I’m trying to order a second pair and nowhere to put discount code. Customer service guy could barely speak English and kept insisting I had to have an order number when I haven’t even been able to order. Finally had to hang up on him. Want the shoes but very frustrated right now.
empty box and no response from customer service
My order came in an empty box with no shoes or packing slip 3 weeks ago. Got a generic return response after emailing them twice. Waited on hold for over 10 minutes and then got automated message that they can’t answer call. I’m getting ready to call my credit card company to fight for a refund. I would rate them zero stars and will not order from them again.

Offered a return packing slip
Offered a return packing slip, but it was never sent. I followed up to get the promised return packing slip, but it was outside their return window, so instead they offered me a coupon to buy another pair of $125 shoes. Why would I try again? They wanted me to buy another pair! File under Nope.

The “customer service” for Rothys is horrible because it’s very impersonal. They have automated machines when you call, you never can talk to a real person. Emails are not any better - they give staged answers and are not in a hurry to give you an exchange or refund. My mom had to ship back a pair of rothys she got me for my birthday ( too large ) - she shipped them and Rothys kept insisting she never did and they never received. She had to deal with incompetent moronic people ( or robots who the hell knows ) for a month! The only reason she got refunded is because she went through the credit card company. If not for that, she more than likely would have never got her money back. No way in hell I’ll ever purchase from here or recommend anyone else to; heaven forbid there’s any type of problem - you’ll just get screwed in the end.

Rothys sent me a return slip to attach to the shoe box and said I could either send them back postal service or go to several locations here in Houston to return them and get an immediate refund. I have never had such a good experience in returning an item. Recommend them wholeheartedly.
It has taken me 1 month and still…
It has taken me 1 month and still waiting to make an exchange. I have sent at least a half a dozen emails and been on hold twice for over 10 minutes to talk to someone in customer service. I have not experienced such bad customer service in a very long time. At this point I don't even want the shoes but would like a refund. I would not recommend Rothy's to anyone.

I placed an order with Rothys for a pair of shoes for my mothers birthday. I have a pair I bought about a year ago and my mother really wanted a pair. I placed the order while I was out of town and noticed I never received an email with the tracking details. I called more than 10 times over 2-3 days and sent 2 emails. Finally I received an email 3 days before my mothers birthday that the shoes never shipped.
I was so upset. Not only were the funds removed from my account, it will not take 10 days to get it back and the shoes were never even shipped to begin with.
Rothys never offered to send the shoes overnight express or anything just that I had to place the order again or they would refund me my money. I asked for the money to be refunded but I will not purchase anything from Rothys again or recommend them to anyone I know.
I later learned after pressing the customer service person via email that there wad a gliche in the system, and even so no communications to customers. I am very disappointed in this kind of service or lack thereof.
