Absolutely amazing company! I purchased the roof bunk roamer. Extremely helpful and good at getting back. Messaged in the Monday morning and later that evening I picked it up and had it fitted. Pete was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional throughout the whole process l, the next night spent my first night away in the Welsh mountains and was 10/10 for comfort and ease of use. Cannot recommend highly enough!

From the minute we saw the RoofBunk stand at the NEC we bombarded Pete and his team with no end of questions, they were so helpful so we went for it and purchased the “explorer”.
We collected it a few days later and it was fitted for us, other companies weren’t doing that, Pete explained how to set up and pack away.
The RoofBunk itself is very good quality, the case it comes it is totally waterproof and has sat on the car since we had it and has kept it totally dry, our first night set up was really easy and very quick, the mattress was comfy, the quality of materials was great and even in the wind we didn’t get any of the flapping that you usually get in tents. The overhang that comes and goes over the steps is also really useful for getting in and out as it protects the rooftent against the elements when using the door. I just wish we’d have got one sooner!

I have been after a roof tent for a couple of years, with so many on the market I didn’t know which to choose. Settled for RoofBunk due to the mattress width, thick side walls, and deep mattress. Have used it out in the hills with the outside temperature at -5C, no cold permeated through the mattress. Have had a cracking sleep each time I’ve used it.
Customer service was great, drove over to RoofBunk where Pete installed it for free and gave me a run through on how it works.

Purchased out roofbunk fromPete Roberts at the caravan and motor home show . It was delivered very quickly and we are more than pleased with its quality build . It’s going to be fun to use a great bit of kit .

So easy to set up and very comfortable and spacious , I am able to put it back down by myself too , takes a little bit longer on your own but it’s no problem.
For us it’s ideal bedroom so we can keep the van as a room to sit in instead of setting up a bed each night .

Buying our roof bunk has been brilliant from start to finish. Pete was helpful every step of the way including spending an hour on the phone with us to help us source the right roof bars for our van .. when we were panicking about ordering the wrong size. It all worked out absolutely fine and we are happily travelling with it now. So easy to put up and take down again.

Pete from RoofBunk was so good to deal with. He messaged back and also let us meet him at silly/late hours.
He answered every question we asked.

The product itself is fantastic. We’ve recently just done 10 days around Scotland and it’s been the best tent I’ve ever stayed in. Me and my wife literally couldn’t wait to get in the roof tent and snuggle down.

Pete made the experience of buying my roof bunk easy and fun. I would highly rate this company for the product I have received and for customer satisfaction.

I bought a Roamer Hard Shell roof tent from Roofbunk, and haven't looked back since my wild camping tour of the Hebrides. The price was very competitive compared to similar products from other sellers, and the quality first class. It was installed quickly and easily, and to set up or knock down takes about five minutes. The double bed sized mattress, 140cms x 210cms is not just spacious, but as comfortable as our bed at home. I chose to add the mattress topper, and the honeycomb anti condensation mat, both for very little extra. There are windows, with extra insect screens if needed, on all four sides, that can be open or closed depending on prevailing weather or views. Ventilation is good and as a viewing platform it is excellent. I am 71 and find using the ladder to get in and out very easy. At 6' 1"there is lots of room for me to sit up in bed. The cargo net and storage pockets are really useful for clothes, shoes, book, torch,etc,.The bedding can be left in situ when the roofbunk is closed for travel, adding convenience of instant set up, and saving luggage space. With the Roofbunk closed I noticed no difference in the car's handling on motorways. Pete, the boss, is a good communicator and always quick to reply to any query of mine, so the business feels personal. Such a great, comfort and convenience advance on old style camping. I can recommend Roofbunk wholeheartedly. Can't wait for my next adventure.
