DO NOT DO ONLINE SHOPPING WITH ROBERT DYAS. Best way to contact them is by email. Do not telephone - ineffective. Very difficult to get a refund when returning an online purchase especially if it is from another supplier. I think they aim to make money from holding your money as long as possible. Refunds should be paid 14 days from proof of posting. The store cannot afford a bad reputation. Is Theo investing in the store?!

this is probably THE most difficult online shopping experience - not only is it difficult to fill in your details without being dropped constantly, but when you do eventually manage to get to the payment part, they only accept VISA debit cards if you are NOT registered with MyDyas. If you are reg for MyDyas, you can ONLY pay via PayPal or Klarna, which is another nightmare. I am registered for MyDyas, but it keeps telling me my password is incorrect. So I try and reset it and although I get a notification email to reset my password, less than 10 seconds after opening the email, it tells me my time to access that email has expired!! So now I have had to pay full price for my goods, no MyDyas discount and my head is pounding with the frustration of it all.

Placed my order because it said 3-5 days for delivery.
10 days later, still waiting.
Had an email from yodel yesterday saying it was out for delivery.
Didn’t receive it & is still showing it’s out for delivery yesterday.
Called up to query. Shocking customer service. Not interested in addressing why they have misleading delivery info on their website.
Was told I’d receive a call back regarding my complaint & nothing.
My advice if it looks cheap it’s because the service is terrible & you wont receive your item.
Staff must be on minimum wage as they have ZERO customer service skills.
Pay a bit more & order from a reputable company.

Tried to cancel an order, spent ages on the phone on hold etc, was told the order was cancelled. Today I receive a shipped confirmation... Which now means I'm going to have to go through the returns process which will no doubt be impossible.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Do not buy from this company they take your money and refuse refunds just because I've opened the package or that the lighting in the pic is different to the actual product is not their fault apparently it's mine and how do I know if I've not opened the package yet if it's opened I can't send it back anyway

Wish I checked on here before placing a order. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here. Customer service just saying to wait another 24 hours almost been and item ordered hasn't moved anywhere since Saturday.

Placed order Nov 17th never arrived, phoned customer services who stated that she would look into it. We are now on the 2nd December, having spoken to 4 different people in customer services.
The latest was to give me a refund on part of the order and informed me the other part was to collect in store - excellent I thought - much later in the day I attended the store to collect my part order. Haha it wasn't there they stated that they had sent it back. To add to my fury you can hear people giggling in the background when you contact customer services. For your own sanity I would recommend not purchasing on this website.

I guess, i have the same experience like others.
No customer service help. I ordered some kitchen balls in the store, they placed order to deliver to the store, I paid straight away. 2 days nothing here, I just worried they put my mail incorrect. So I came to the store to ask about my order. They know nothing, showed me the number of customer service to call. I called, the number changed. I called different number what they left - they unavailiable, the way how get in touch with them is not clear. They say it very fast. I googled and found that there are many people like me.
I think it is the time back to shop in stores and avoid online shopping at all.
I have very unlucky deliveries through this month.

Shame I can’t give 0 stars. Asked a member of staff for help and was given the wrong item. The member of staff looked at me with such conviction that he was giving me the right thing, he didn’t care. Because I opened the packet it couldn’t be returned. The manager was rude and a bully, no apology was given to me. It was the error of the staff member. I am left with an item that’s no use to me. Staff here are unbelievably poor. Careful with this branch. Awful awful awful.

I placed an order for a bouncy castle two weeks ago and was sent the wrong item. I immediately called customer service, explaining that I needed the correct product urgently for an upcoming party. Despite stressing the importance of acting quickly, they arranged for the collection of the wrong item five days after my initial call. They also refused to send the correct item until the wrong one was collected, even though I explained my time-sensitive situation.

When the courier finally arrived, they stayed for just one minute and left without collecting the item, leading to even further delays. Another collection was then booked for three days later. After the wrong item was finally collected, I emailed them to ask when they would ship the correct product. It has been three days since that email, and I have heard absolutely nothing from them.

I'm disgusted with their appalling customer service, complete lack of care, and incompetence. To make matters worse, they refused to offer any partial refund despite the mess they caused. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this company.

Ordered Two 3 Door white gloss wardrobes. Both mirror doors bent poor quality poor fit. Ask customers services for replacement mirror doors again both bent. So ask to return both wardrobes for a refund customer service agreed. Then 2 days later changed their minds offered me £25 compensation instead (insult) Not Happy with Robert Dyas or fw style wordrobes. Steer well clear 👎

Just terrible. Ordered a heater and was given a delivery date. When date came and went I phoned to see what was going on. Rude customer service, no one could give me any a swears so I cancelled order, just waiting for a refund now

Ordered Otiman bed came in the wrong colour and flawed.
Customer service is shocking citing they had issues with the supplier still waiting on someone to come and return have wrote to BBC watchdog would not deal with Robert Dyas's again

Contacted customer care when my expensive Mercia pergola arrived to say I was wary of splits in the wood. No response. Contacted again a few weeks later to say joiner was concerned. Got an email stating they could send replacements. They didn’t. The top vertical pole has completely broken when we tried to use the posts. I’ve contacted them again and it is an ongoing battle. The people on the phone are lovely but can’t deal with my requests as I’d originally emailed in - there seems to be no system. I had given up but have called again today and been told someone will call me back. My garden is a mess and the pergola is lying in bits all around it.

I wish I had seen all these negative reviews before purchasing the futon set with mattress last July (2023) item looks lovely, but we noticed this July that the seam with the zip around the mattress cover had come undone - approximately 4 inches in length. It’s hardly used, sits in a study / office room. I reported it late though, so it ended up falling outside the 12 month warranty…I got one line from customer service saying they can’t help. That was it. No goodwill gesture, no discretion, nothing. So they believe we shouldn’t expect anything to last longer than 12 months. I was stunned by the response. Will not be spending my hard earned money there again. Shocking the way they treat consumers

Ordered an item and received an email saying when it would be delivered by Yodal - yet another set of cowboys. Item failed to materialise and after a lot of searching I found it had been returned to Robert Dyas. No one from RobertDyas or Yodal had bothered themselves to let me know.
I complained but received no apology and no response from their customer service department.
Appalling service and total waste of time. Avoid

Get told in email I will receive a delivery date with tracking information. Item was supposed to be delivered today so phoned robert dyas for tracking information and got told it will be delivered tomorrow hopefully.

Just awful. Such a stressful experience with no help, empathy or care from any of the various staff I had to speak to over a 2 week period.
Ordered a lawnmower. It came in a damaged box, gaffa tape all around it and a previous customer’s label still on it!
Opened it and the strimmer was missing. The mower wasn’t even packed in any protective card. That was all just scrunched at the bottom of the box, presumably from the previous recipient before he sent it back. On off button was dirty.
I emailed them and got a reply with no apologies. Just info about yodel collecting one week from my initial contact.
The collection date comes. I’m standing outside when tracking said one stop before us. No one came. Tracking updates to say they couldn’t access property. 3 days it takes for them to arrange another collection. Same thing happens again!!!!!
So I open a PayPal dispute.
Third collection fails again. Despite it being a business address with an open reception and people on hand to help. Yodel just do not come. PayPal eventually refund me.
But Robert dyas are still trying to collect. Fourth attempt today, again we are there. Collection attempt failed for fourth time. Just farcical at this point!

Do not do not do not trust this company. I urge you to use Argos, Amazon, the range or almost anyone but them!

I was going to order a shed with this company. Thank you for the warnings to avoid. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

it is such a shame this company has now become awful.

High prices, very poor quality, dealing with multiple different subcontracting companies. Delivery advice is confusing. Returns are nearly impossible unless you want a whole day off from work having to wait for a courier who might not turn up.

It took 21 emails for me to return an item sold through Tectake limited. They are another company to avoid if you want good service.

I hate writing this, only you have been warned. There are much better, organised, efficient and cost effective companies out there. Use them and shop happily.
