Good value for money

All is fine! I liked it! Works well. Has Vpn inside already. Has hotspot. Top up anytime. Price is reasonable.

Bad coverage

Bought an eSIM for Costa Rica and data was really spotty. At some towns, I couldn’t use it at all. Pretty disappointed with this eSIM coverage.

Edit to add: If your product only works 70% of the time, then I think that my rating was pretty accurate. The 30% of time it didn’t work, well it was crucial and frustrating. Also how can I contact you without having coverage? I see that blaming the client is your customer service standard!

However, after reviewing your account data, we noticed that you successfully consumed 3.62 GB out of your 5 GB plan (72% usage). While we understand that coverage can be spotty in certain remote or 'dead zone' areas—which is a factor of local infrastructure—reaching over 70% data usage suggests that the eSIM was functional for the majority of your trip.

In Costa Rica, we partner with ICE (Kölbi), which is known for having the most extensive coverage across the country.

We also noticed that our support team was never contacted during your travels. Had you reached out to us while you were experiencing issues, we could have assisted with manual network selection or other technical adjustments to improve your connection in those specific towns.

We aim for every customer to leave satisfied, and we would have loved the chance to help you in real-time.

Number 1 customer service an internet…

I accidentally purchased an internet package for one country instead of two. I understand this, I contacted the service and they immediately helped me get another package for the second country at no extra charge! Fast and excellent service!

Recommend

Easy to install, quite good price and the support immediately helped me with a connection problem that occured. Would book again for thw next trip.

ROAFLY eSIM CARD and service - awesome!! !!

This is the first time I have used a Roafly eSIM card for international travel. And it won’t be the last. Not only was it the most economical eSIM card available, but the service that accompanied it was truly exceptional. Prompt, professional, courteous, informative - you name it - the assistance was spot on in every way and made this acquisition and activation perfect. From mystery to reality. I used it today for the first time while cycling through the countryside on a Caribbean island and it worked perfectly. Excellent connection, crystal clear reception. Great job and product, congrats, and many thanks.

bad reception

bad reception, my other line wasn't able to connect on wifi calling due to the week reception throughout the trip.
This is not recommended in Costa RICA

In Costa Rica, our eSIM connects to major local networks such as ICE (Kölbi), which generally offer the best coverage in the country. However, due to Costa Rica’s unique geography—including dense jungles and mountainous regions—signal strength can naturally fluctuate in certain areas.

Regarding your mention of Wi-Fi Calling: While modern devices allow routing calls from your primary line over the eSIM's cellular data, this process requires a very strong and stable high-speed connection. If you were in an area with a weaker signal, it would unfortunately prevent Wi-Fi Calling from functioning correctly, as it demands more bandwidth than standard browsing.

Good, but not always connected

I installed the e-sim before I went on holiday. It worked inmediately when we arrived at our destination country (Costa Rica).

I've chosen for Roafly because I read that it has the best coverage of signal. However few times I could not connect, while my wife did have a connection. She had a simcard from another provider.

Still I am sattisfied with the product I choose .
