RNG Classics - Self drive classic cars  Anmeldelser

Really friendly and quick response to enquiries. Arrangements were easily made with flexibility offered for an additional pick up we asked for.
Whilst the initial car we had booked became unavailable due to a technical issue, we were quickly offered an amazing alternative.
Robbie and the car arrived promptly and was happy to tell us about the car’s history - we had the beautiful Rolls Royce Silver Shadow which was stunning!
Great service, would highly recommend.

We hired the ford mustang and it was great, Robbie was flexible and made the timings work for us on the day. My partner drove the car and now won’t stop talking about getting our own..!

AVOID! TOOK OUR MONEY!

Perhaps I should have checked other reviews here first before booking. It seems like many other customers have found the same that while all is good no problem but the moment something happens, the owner creates new rules as he goes along and they are awful to deal with.

I strongly advise against using RNG Classics for your wedding or any important event. We booked their 1969 Jaguar Series 2 E-Type specifically for our wedding day, paying a hefty £1,400 well in advance.

Less than 24 hours before the event, they canceled due to “damage” to the car — offering unsuitable alternatives that completely missed the mark. When we requested a refund since the alternatives were useless after our wedding day had passed, they flat-out refused, only offering vouchers or rebooking options.

Their last-minute failure left us without the wedding car we carefully chose, ruining a crucial part of our day and our photos. This company clearly does not value its clients, their commitments, or the importance of your special day.

Unprofessional, unreliable, and dismissive of customer needs — we won’t recommend RNG Classics to anyone and hope this review saves others the disappointment and stress we faced.

Hired a classic Mustang and RNG were perfect from start to finish. Car turned up in immaculate condition and was one of the highlights of our wedding.

We hired the Jag E-type for our wedding day and everything was just perfect. Robbie is a great guy and a pleasure to deal with. All the details were looked after and the car was seamlessly delivered and collected on the day even though the venue was several hours away. Would absolutely recommend RNG Classics.

Thanks again! James and Becca

I had a brilliant weekend in the mini, absolutely loved it, Robbie and Nav were both great to deal with, would love to do it again

Hired the 1967 Land Rover to take my son and his mates to their prom. Robbie (the owner) was super responsive, sent personalised videos of the start procedure and “features” of this classic vehicle. He answered all my questions and made sure everything went well. The boys loved it and I had a great experience driving it!!

On a blazing Sunday morning, my partner and I took a 356 Speedster out for a 4 hour jaunt around the Surrey Hills…what a brilliant experience! Robbie, the owner of RNG could not have been more helpful…a briefing on all aspects of the Porsche was thorough and covered all the bases. Advice on routes to get the most out of our time (4 hours) with the car was very welcome. We had a great time - the 356 is certainly a head-turner and conversation starter!! Highly recommend getting behind the wheel of a classic car from RNG…we will certainly be booking again.

Fantastic day out in the Speedster 356. Robbie was so friendly and helpful throughout the hiring process and day of hire. Would definitely recommend and use again!

I hired a car from RNG Classics and Robbie was extremely helpful and accommodating! Robbie went out of his way to send me products I had left behind, great service!

Had a great time driving the RS6 C5 which I have always wanted to do for my birthday.Robbie was helpful and very good at giving customer satisfaction.
I am looking forward to doing further hires later in 2025.

We hired the DS21 for a long weekend. We had great communication beforehand and even had a choice of two locations to pick the car up from. The DS21 is rightly described as one of, if not the, most beautiful car ever made and it drew attention from all who saw it on the road. Don't drive it if you are shy! Robbie did a very informative hand over and even took us out for a few miles to show us the controls. I'm now looking at the next one from the collection to hire.

Robbie was fantastic - very accommodating and excellent service, and we had so much fun driving the spitfire. It was stunning! (as is Fifi the dog)

Great car, great company had a amazing time driving such an iconic car

I hired the Jaguar E Type for our wedding and I couldn’t believe how much it complimented our day. Beautiful car, great service from Robbie and would highly recommend

Robbie was fantastic. He was communicative and flexible despite our timings changing last minute both at pickup and drop off. His car collection is amazing and the E-type is well worth the hire - you won’t have driven something like it and it’s definitely a head-turner. On top of that, Robbie is a great guy. Would 100% recommend and will be renting again from him in the future

RNG classics gave us a really great experience. the car was just what we needed and was well presented.
Robbie was keen to work around our timings and could not have been more helpful.
I cannot rate the highly enough.

I cannot recommend this company and the experience they offer more! 5*s

Robbie is such a personable owner and made our experience extra special with his kindness and keen knowledge of his cars.

Thank you again for letting us use the Porsche 365, it was a beauty to look at and drive!

We rented the DAX Cobra from Robbie at RNG classics for a day out back in July this year.

I’m struggling to find the words to explain how remarkable this experience was. There are some days in your life which you will never ever forget and leave a permanent mark on your memory. If you are a car lover, the whole
experience with RNG made this day one of them.

Robbie was very helpful immediately from the start, getting us booked in quickly. contactability is one of his strong points, he is always available to talk things through over the phone or text.

Then there was the car. The car was exceptional. A truly beautiful example in great condition which ran well and provided endless fun for the day. Owning a nice car myself, I am a firm believer that these cars should be shared and it was great to drive this around and see the look of joy on people’s faces as we came through the countryside villages.

All in all a fantastic day out where we made memories which will last a lifetime.

What are we driving next Robbie?

Great experience with Robbie! The car was perfect, ran like a dream and no problems during our 5 day rental. Absolutely will be coming back!
