Robbie and team were great - extremely responsive and even set up a test drive session, which was extremely helpful. I would definitely use RNG classics again!

£2,500 out of pocket, don’t use this company
No issues with the classic Jag but still haven’t been paid back by £2,500 security deposit. Been chasing for 6 months. Unacceptable.

Unfortunately some people in life think they can write whatever they like, not really realising what they are saying or what damage it can cause to the business it relates to...
Seems Mr Peter R has a very short memory too. He being the subject of a PayPal fraud investigation into how our clients are able to fund the security / damage deposit that we ask for... The only reason his deposit was held back and held up for so long, our frozen PayPal while they investigated the cases.
Also he seemed to think he had the right to dictate our terms of business to us even though he signed and agreed them. Funny that, when someone decides for us how we are to uphold our terms. You can imagine we have heaps of reports of the conditions of cars coming back after hires. In this case we looked at another client and our E-Type. But then rectified that with the correct status and very correctly charged the customer for valeting when we judged it necessary to make the car clean for our next client.
We have the right to ask that our car be cared for and treated with respect. I'm not sure Mr Peter R knows what those two things are sadly...
I would never use this company again
I would never use this company again. I hired a Land-rover for my wedding in September. The journey was only 5 minutes from the church to our venue, Rob knew this as every car hirer asks details on the journey. On the way back from the church the Land-rover broke down on a hill, our ushers had to push the car up a hill to safety. We luckily met someone who helped tow the car back to the venue. Once we got back the first thing Rob (the owner) says is “it must have run out of petrol”. Turns out Rob never checked if the car had any fuel in it which is part of the contract. This meant we were over 30 minutes late to our wedding reception. Rob was not at all apologetic and has not refunded any money to us. I have never been so appalled by a service. His customer service is horrendous, at one point he calls the person who kindly helped tow the car as a ‘ a local hill billy’.
To provide a rental car with no petrol and to not provide any sort of refund or even compassion is highly upsetting. This is not a reliable company, I would not recommend using them for any event.

This was an unfortunate scenario that could’ve been avoided. The client broke our terms by not calling and reporting an issue that could have been solved in moments.
There didn't need to be such interventions or assumptions. We agree ideally it shouldn't run out of fuel, but if you knew the reason for the rush to you earlier that day, and slip of the mind of how much fuel there was would change the whole complexion of this.
As mentioned earlier too, 80’s land rovers are notorious for having iffy fuel gauges, more so that very day. A host of classic cars in fact, it’s par for the course. We can take breakdown out of the equation because this wasn’t that. This was something that if our request had been followed it could’ve been avoided. No need for people pushing, no need for a tow back, no need for a random to do his amateur best at getting our vehicle back… Hastily towed back which could've broken our Land Rover irreparably!
This kind of incident is exactly why we have written into our terms for the ease of everyone involved to make a call before assuming anything or actioning anything. Using a stranger to literally drag the car back is not part of that at all. So no refund was arranged or due.

I hired the classic E-Type Jaguar for my wedding day. Given the age of the car, what an absolute beauty she was to drive. Robert was brilliant from start to finish, always available and very flexible given how unsure I was on my timings. The car for sure was an eye turner and reassure I made the right choice. I would definitely recommend RNG Classics.

A great choice for a little indulgence
I hired the Ferrari last year for a birthday treat and my son and I had a great 4 hour drive. Rob is really welcoming and there is just no hassle with is although it can appear daunting! This year have to choose between the E-Type and the Porsche I think.

E-Type Hire
We hired RNG's beautiful E-Type for our wedding - an exceptional car, great runner, clearly well looked after and a real head turner. Rob's flexibility around our booking was great, and he was on hand for any questions. Highly recommend.
