Should have known it was too good to be true. Paid for a one-off transcription of an audio file and they signed me up for a monthly subscription without my knowledge! No-where in the emails from them is it clear that this was going to happen.
Be very very careful when using this company.

They stole 40 euros
They stole 40 euros. Needed their service once for 1.50 euros, to then after get billed 39,99 euros for their subscription. Never needed or wanted this. I don’t just want this to be cancelled, I want my money back.

Great tool
Rileo’s a very solid tool - popped in a fairly long recording and it turned around a clean transcript. More than good enough for what I needed, and saved me a fair bit of hassle!

They Will Steal Your Money
DO NOT USE. You pay the small fee to get your transcription but actually you've signed up for a subscription which will hit your credit card a few days later. Then if you email them (there is no way to call), it's just an AI chatbot that keeps replying that they can't refund you because it goes against their 'policy'. Heck even most of these reviews on here are AI. What a joke and now I'm out $54 CAD.

Rileo helped me a lot with interviews. I used the summarisation feature to get some info about candidates and it made it way easier to make certain decisions.
Transcription quality is also good, and it was unexpectedly fast!

The website is for turning audio files into text documents. They advertised a one-off payment of 99p for a single document which I paid via ApplePay and this was taken from my bank the same day. A week later £39.99 was taken from my account. When contacted, they claim that I started a free 7-day trial and signed up for a monthly subscription. This is a lie. If it was a free trial then why was I charged 99p. They also claim that an email was sent to confirm the subscription details. I received no such email. They refuse to refund the £39.99 and were shameless enough to offer a complimentary 1-month extension instead. Shady business practices like this mean people are being scammed for services they have not signed up for. By the time they notice money missing from their accounts, Rileo have gleaned at least one monthly payment, possibly more, from them.

I cancelled within their timeframe and they still proceeded to take £40 out of my bank account when I paid 99p and then cancelled before the 24 hrs as requested. They have a huge amount of small print to use against you. Having to go through my bank to claim back. There are other sites that are more consumer friendly….i would use those and will do from now on.

Great tool
Great tool, very fast in transcribing the videos. I found it easy to navigate through the webpage; enjoyed the quality of transcripts too. The texts from the videos uploaded was accurate and very useful that it adds time stamps too. I’ve noticed that there is speaker identification feature too, which is fantastic! Really helped me out as I was transcribing the interview recordings for my dissertation! The app is a lifesaver
