I've been using Revision Dojo for IB revision and, while the concept is okay (For a completly AI page), the reality is that it is simply not worth the money. And given the prices they charge, that is a serious problem.
Let's start with the content. The AI on this platform consistently gets things wrong. Not occasionally, not rarely, consistently. Across every subject I was revising, I kept finding mistakes: incorrect equations, wrong diagrams, factual errors that would genuinely damage your grade if you revised from them without fact-checking. And that is the core issue. You are paying, at quite a significant cost, for a revision tool so that you don't have to do the extra work yourself. Having to stop and verify every other thing the platform tells you defeats the entire purpose. I was spending more time checking Revision Dojo than actually learning from it. For the price they charge, that is completely unacceptable.
The volume of errors is not something I can overstate. Multiple pages, multiple subjects, mistakes scattered throughout. For a platform that markets itself to IB students, a course where precision and accuracy genuinely matter, and charges a premium price for the privilege, this level of carelessness with content is shocking. These are not minor typos. These are real content errors that could actively mislead students who are trusting the platform to help them prepare for some of the most important exams of their lives. You are essentially paying a premium to be misinformed.
When you look at what you are actually getting for the price, it becomes even harder to justify. There are free and cheaper alternatives out there that provide accurate content without asking you to pay through the nose and then still do half the work yourself. Revision Dojo positions itself as a premium product but does not deliver premium quality. The pricing feels completely detached from the reality of what the platform actually offers.
I reported these issues repeatedly. I was not doing this to cause trouble, I was doing the platform a favour. Every error I flagged was one fewer student being misled. The response? I was offered a refund, which I accepted because at that point my frustration was more than justified. What was never made clear, at any point, was that accepting the refund would mean immediately losing all Pro access. No warning, no explanation of the consequences, nothing. I went along with it the way any reasonable person would and then found myself locked out of the features I had been relying on.
This happened during exam season. My IB exams are weeks away. Losing access to a tool that had become part of my revision routine, without any notice that this would happen, is genuinely stressful in a way the team clearly did not appreciate or care about. When I raised this, I was told it was standard procedure and that there was nothing they could do. No flexibility, no acknowledgement that the situation was handled poorly, nothing. For a company charging the prices they do, the bare minimum expectation is that when something goes wrong, they handle it with some degree of transparency and care. They did neither.
The frustrating thing is that I still think the idea has potential. But right now the content is riddled with errors, the pricing is hard to justify, and the customer experience when something goes wrong is cold and dismissive. If you are an IB student considering subscribing, be very careful. You will need to fact-check what you are revising, you will be paying a lot for the privilege, and if you ever raise a concern, do not expect much transparency or goodwill in return.
I flagged the problems, lost my access without warning, and was left worse off than if I had said nothing at all. At these prices, that is simply not good enough.

I’ve been experiencing multiple issues with the website, the AI, and certain features. In the past, I tended to overlook these problems and wasn’t too concerned, but recently they’ve become more frequent and harder to ignore.

Firstly, the content. It appears that much of it is AI-generated, and I’ve started noticing several errors in definitions, calculations, and summaries. While the definitions often match what tools like ChatGPT or Copilot provide, they sometimes differ from standard sources when you look them up elsewhere. Even if they are technically correct, they are not always appropriate for students, as they include terminology that has not been covered in the syllabus or does not appear in commonly accepted definitions.

There are also issues with diagrams, particularly in economics. While many are correct, some contain clear inaccuracies or incorrect features.

Calculations are another major problem. Errors in maths calculations are common, and I have stopped reporting them because I now rely on different software. However, even in economics, calculations are sometimes wrong, likely due to AI errors. The formulas provided are often overly complex, and at times the AI itself seems unable to apply them correctly.

Finally, the AI system itself is problematic. It is extremely slow, often taking 10 to 20 seconds to respond to even very short questions. It also contradicts itself and sometimes confirms incorrect answers as if they are correct. Additionally, it struggles to assist properly with maths-related queries.

This is a constant issue and it not one they just fix overnight.

- I will not get started with they subscription issues so this is it for now.

It a lifesaving site for IB students. It really helped me a lot to revise the topics quickly. I recommend especially for DP2 students. Also the support team is really quick and understanding.

I had some technical issues with my account, which was really my fault. Kevin from customer support replied to me right away and solved my problem within a few hours. these guys are really hard working people who are always welcome and stay in touch with customers. im really glad i bought the subscription here instead of other platforms to prepare for my exams. really efficient and understandable. i like it very much

The AI model is alright, and it grades the IAs somehow, how ever it fluctuates a lot with the cheater grading. However the questions, flashcards and mock exam generation is trash as AI can not create always relevant topics. Adds irrelevant topics to syllabus, with wrong naming, etc. Its alright, but not worth the money.

I have been using the Pro version for a few months and it's been a lifesaver for me. The notes and cheatsheets are perfect balance of comprehensive and concise. The star of the show has been the new Teach Jojo feature which is what sets it apart from the other platforms. it asks the tough but basic questions at times which I usually overlooked during revision thinking of it as common knowledge which clearly identified my gaps. Highly recommended for any IB student looking to level up their grades!!!

amazing DP content, helpful customer service chat

i’ve been trying to contact them for a very very long time to tell them that they took all my money at once and i asked them to take the first months and i wanted to cancel my subscription because 500 is too much and they are ignoring me and i really can’t afford it and every time i try and contact them they never answer

Horrible customer support. Haven't answered even when I have repeatedly tried through their services, and it's been months. Tried using the service to it's full extent, but answers were wrong, scores were unreliable and overall unreliable service.
DO NOT TRY IT, Revision Dojo is not be reliable and shady practices from them constantly, across all of their platforms.

I purchased and paid for an annual Plus subscription ( >200 USD) on December 26, 2025, and to my surprise, I discover that I don’t have access! I still have the same features as the free account. I have contacted them via chat and email several times, but I have received NO response. I will wait a couple more days and if I don’t get assistance, I will start the process with the bank to recover my money. Very disappointed.

I’d like to point out that it’s really inconvenient that your team doesn’t provide a customer service phone number or even a direct email. Right now there’s only a form to fill out, which makes it harder to resolve issues quickly. It would be great if you could offer more direct ways to contact support.

I’m posting this here because I haven’t gotten any response to my emails or follow ups. I’ve paid for a subscription and I still can’t access my account. Hoping that posting this publicly will get someone’s attention to help me out. Thanks!

This might be a good experience for students, but for me, it was not great as a paying parent.

First, they have a sale going on with a countdown, but the price went up from one day to the next, even as the counter is many days from its completion. What is the point of a countdown, if changes are happening anyway?

Second, I went ahead to purchase a membership for my daughter, and the process is a pain. I had to log in as her, which required that I get a code from her for password-less login. Once I paid, I tried to verify the membership level and renewal timeframe, but that required another code, even though I was in the account viewing mode.

An email I sent to the company with my concerns above has yet to receive a response.

I sure hope the study part of the site is better designed and more responsive to user needs.

Edit on Jan 2: new sale price, with even deeper discounts than during Thanksgiving, and still no response from the company to my inquiry. Took one additional star off.

All the ib text books, flash cards, questions, quizzes and more available in 1 place. Since I started using dojo, my grades went from 3-4s to straight 7s. I finally feel like I know what I am doing and I am on top of everything. I love it, worth every penny!!!

I swear this is the best and most engaging IB resource that can ever exist. I have never had this fun studying for IB as I have with RevisionDojo. This is something that I would recommend to anyone who's studying in IB. It is truly a lifesaver. As far as I have had an experience with RevisionDojo, it is the ultimate game-changer for any student. And, if you have the subscription for the pro version, you don't really need anything else to ace IB.

Genuinely amazing, making studying and doing IB projects a breeze.

Great website for learning and studying for the IB

so I started doing my IA for math and I needed help with the calculations and the methods I can use in order to get the desired outcome, I asked Jojo ai if its even possible with the data that I have, it said that its 100% possible so I invested hours into building the IA after some time I hit a roadblock and was struggling again, when I asked jojo ai it provided me some inaccurate math until I had to correct it, in the end jojo ai told me that I actually cant do this idea which resulted in me scratching the whole project I worked on.

Revision Dojo also has other features which are complete crap, ib notes that they have do not have all the topics and most of the notes are incomplete, there are plenty of other websites that are cheaper and provide more notes.

They do have quite a lot of questions for practice I will give them that but again for that price there are much better websites.

Also, the "grading" features are very innacurate but thats alright I guess because it depends on the proctor you have.

In conclusion, the app is just ai generated garbage that wants to look "relatable" and "cool" in front of IB kids which is why many are enticed into buying it, but in reality their product is bad there is no denying that its just good marketing. If you want to get feedback on your work you can get a tutor or talk with your teacher, if you want an AI that focuses on IB it is better to buy the chatgpt subscription and personalise it and it will help you much more plus you can than use it for other things, getting questions for practice? there are plenty of trustworthy websites with real ib questions because I am sure revisiondojo questions are ai generated as well. My take away is DO NOT BUY this garbage no matter how cool it looks, it is just not gonna help you in improving your grades.
